Record a video on a DVD on my Qosmio

I have a qosmio G10. Anyone know how you can transfer your old videos on dvd. I'm confused about how to connect the video player to the laptop and what program should I tent to register in. thank you!

Hello

Cela in my opinion I have very similar procedure as a record of the television, but in the first step, you have to select the channel of the VHS on the laptop.
I found a site very useful Microsoft on a record by using the MCE.

Someone can advise or recommend including many different programs available that I must use to capture (record) streaming video online with it's associated audio on El Capitan?  I tried MacX DVD Converter Pro, but believe it or not, it does not record the audio aspect of video stream.  They claim there is a work around, but after 3 days of trying various corrections, none seems to work for me.

I tried the Safe Mode Terminal command string: turn off the csrutil. restart, but which did not allow audio capture of MacX DVD Converter Pro driver to install their Audio System driver.

I tried sudo nvram boot-args = "kext-dev = 1 mode" method, but then again, playback of the recorded video was silent, even though I have heard the audio during recording. "

    Hello Mike,.

Thanks for posting your question on the Forum of the Microsoft community.

I understand that you have problems with a DVD, but I would like to learn more about the issue to provide you with better assistance.

    1. What do you mean when you say, 'I can't stop recording of data on a DVD?
    2. You talk about a blank rewritable DVD? It is specific to a particular disc?
    3. What is the accurate and complete error message when you say, 'this shows that a security error "?
    4. Are you able to eject the DVD? If so, what happens when you save the data without any disc in the drive?

I suggest you to provide the information identified above to refine the question and provide you with better assistance. Apart from that, you can try the mentioned below of methods based on specified corresponding understanding.

    Method 1:

If you mean that the data you record are, by default, saved on the DVD player, then you can change the default save location as detailed below.

    1. Open libraries.
    2. Right-click on the Documents folder, and then click Properties.
    3. Click on restore the default settings.
    4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the musicfiles, photos and videos in the library.

Try to save all the data and check if the number is reproduced.

    Method 2:

If you have problems with the specific DVD when inserted into the CD/DVD drive, you can try to let flow the next fixit and check if it helps.

  • Several video projects on DVD

Compressor Ver 4.2.2 have the ability to burn two or more FCP video projects on DVD, assuming that there is enough space?

Compressor Ver 4.2.2 allows to burn a DVD with video to iMovie?

I have an iMac, mid 2011, OS X El Capitan, worm 10.11.4.

    Thank you

Compressor (like FCP) can only create videos of single track. If you need to do more, then I would combine them into a single FCC schedule. You would copy and paste several chronologies to a master timeline - probably incorporating title clips and chapter markers for easy navigation. (I guess that iMovie can do that too, but I'm not sure). What is certainly true is that you can export a video from iMovie, and then bring to the compressor to create a movie. (This is to combine several videos into iMovie, that I'm not sure of).

If VLC can't play the file, it can be owner or damaged. In addition, VLC should have no problem with a standard DVD playback.

You can always try to convert it.

Freemake Video Converter is one of the most recommended video converters to help users to convert their SOURCE of videos in WMV. Freemake Video Converter is extremely easy to use, but there are a few ' opt-out ' the software provided with the installer that makes the user nervous. I created a post to illustrate the process of downloading the application, installation step by step, explaining what options are optional. I have also provided some screenshots on just how it is easy to convert your videos into WMV.

  • VIXIA HF R600 is more recording the videos?

We just bought the camcorder vixia HF R600 a couple of weeks.  We have already recorded several videos played back on the camera and uploaded to the computer.  Today we recorded several videos, but the single was recorded.  All other data has been lost.  There is almost nothing on the memory card if space is not a problem.  The unit reads that we are recording, but nothing is actually registered.

    What is the problem?

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi JSeib9,

The problem that you fell can be linked to the memory card used.

Your comcorder accepts the following memory cards:

    • Secure Digital card standard (SD) capacity up to 2 GB support
    • Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) that supported up to 32 GB capacity
    • Card, Secure Digital eXtended capacity (SDXC) that support more than 32 GB capacities

While we do not recommend specific brands or models of cards, we recommend that you use a memory card produced by a major manufacturer of memory cards which closely meet current industry standards. You can see sdcard.org standards.

We advise against the use of cards that require an adapter to fit the comcorder (micoSD or Mini SD). The increase in the number of connections between the camera and the memory card (from the memory to the adapter card), then the adapter to the camera, more likely to malfunction.

Your comcorder offers no support for the memory cards using the UHS - I or II - UHS standards. While some of these cards are backward compatible with the old memory card standards, all work. Please check with the card manufacturer for more information about backward compatibility with standards of card class 10 speed or speed class 6.

If your memory cards meet the standards described above, I recommend recording your movies and pictures on your computer, and then perform a full initialization of the memory card.  Here's how:

If you continue to experience this problem, I recommend you try a different brand / model of memory card.

  • How to burn video files to DVD

How can I burn video files to dvd via laptop?

Created a video using a webcam and my laptop has a dvd / cd/cdr drive to play and burn. I do not know how to burn my video to dvd... any input please? In advance thank you!

You will need a third party software that will convert and burn the video file. If you want to be able to watch the video at home or auto dvd players you will need a software who authors the file as well. I prefer Ashampoo Burning Studio 10. You can download and get a free trial from the link below. It is an excellent program and well worth the $15.00 you can buy it for after the expiration of the trial period. There may be some restrictions on the trial version but, I'm not there.

  • How can I copy video to a DVD on my hard drive in Windows XP?

Original title: not a wiz here pc... How can I copy video to a DVD on my hard drive... I have windows XP?
need help please... thank you in advance.

If the DVD is "not" a commercial copy protected DVD...
the following steps may be worth a try:

When you insert the DVD in your DVD player... close
all the windows that can open and then go to... Start /.
Computer... right click the icon for the DVD player
is located in, and then select Explore or open to view the
    Directory of the DVD.

The files you need from the DVD are the. VOB files.
You will find them in the VIDEO_TS folder. Copy them
in a folder on your hard drive. Or you can copy the
    full VIDEO_TS folder.

First... just try to rename one of the. VOB files to
. MPG or. AVI and see if it will matter in Movie Maker.
If import works... drag the file to the timeline and
Economy/publication it to .wmv or .avi format. Then...
Re - import new video from .wmv to for editing.
(Note: in Windows 7 you may be able to import the)
VOB files in Movie Maker just as they are)

(FWIW... you can probably play the files renamed
in Windows Media Player to be sure that VOB
    file to edit)

If you are unable to import the files they need to be converted
another .wmv format would be a good choice.

There are many programs that can do conversions...
The following freeware is an example...:

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    Format Factory
    http://www.videohelp.com/tools/Format_Factory
    (the 'direct link' is faster)
(the file you want to download is: > FFSetup260.zip<>
    (FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
('all' boxes on the last screen)

First, you will need to decompress the file or just open the
Drag FFSetup260.exe out of the folder
and drop it on your desktop. To install left click.

Next, after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
    are converted)

Drag and drop your video clips on the main screen...

Select "all to WMV" / OK...

Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...

    That should do it...

    Good luck...

  • Add video to a DVD at the library

I want to add the video to a DVD to my library.  I have an external hard drive that I can use.  Is this possible?  If Yes please give detailed instructions, because I am not very computer

    Two possible methods...

    (1) I guess this isn't a step a commercial DVD
with protection against copying? If_yes_read on...

    * Be aware that the breaking of the protection against copying
on commercial DVDs is illegal *.

Insert the DVD into your DVD drive... If AutoPlay or
Launch of Windows Media Player... just close them.

Now... to... Start / computer... a click right on the
icon for the DVD player is in and choose...
Open or explore... it allows to display the directory
    the DVD.

Find the VIDEO_TS folder and open it... video
    files have a. Extension VOB.
Copy them to a folder on your hard drive... it
Maybe more than VOB files and those with the
larger sizes of files are probably the ones you need.

If you rename the. VOB files. AVI or. MPG you
should be able to play in Windows Media
    Drive.

Or you can copy the entire VIDEO_TS folder
on your hard drive. Simply create a new folder with a
descriptive name to save it in.

FWIW... the free VLC Media Player can read
the files directly from the VIDEO_TS folder. Just
Right click on the VIDEO_TS folder and choose...
    Play with VLC...

(FWIW... it's always a good idea to create a system)
Restore point before installing software or updates)

    VLC Media Player
    http://www.filehippo.com/download_vlc/
    (works on XP/Vista/7)

    ===================================

    (2) using the free software Format Factory... you
can download and convert the video DVD
a format like WMV, so you can play with
most any multimedia player... and correct it in film
    Maker.

(the 'direct link' is faster download)
(the file you want to download is: > FFSetup290.zip<>
    (FWIW... installation..., you can uncheck
('all' boxes on the final screens)
    (Windows XP / Vista / 7)

First, you will need to decompress the file or just open the
    Drag > FFSetup290.exe< out="" of="" the="">
and drop it on your desktop. To install left click.

Next, after the download and installation of Format
Factory... you can open the program and
left click on the toolbar, the "Option" button and
"Select an output folder to" / apply / OK.
(this is where you find your files after they)
    are converted)

Insert your DVD into your DVD drive.

In the left column of Format Factory... go to...
"ROMA Device\DVD\CD\ISO" / DVD to the video file...

Open the DVD menu and select the drive
the DVD is in. The files of the DVD should appear
in the setting of the output window. Select (check) the
main feature for the conversion (the one with the longest
duration will be the actual film)

Choose the WMV format and the left click the
Convert button. Back on the main screen, left click
    the Start button.

Now, all you have to do is wait. It is best if you do not have
    multitasking while video is rendered.

That's all... Format Factory has many settings
You can set but this should be enough to help you
    has started.

    Good luck...
