recovery my file

I need to retrieve some information I had in my file, I had to be recycled these last months

Thank you

Hello cookie_2010,

If the folder is removed from the Recycle Bin, you will not be able to recover the file. However, there are several third-party software that will give you the ability to recover deleted files. I suggest that you use your favorite search engine and look for the software which help you to recover the files.

    Hello

It is not recommended to delete the files in the recovery partition.  Recovery partition contains the Windows information to retrieve the computer crashing. I would ask you to contact the manufacturer of the computer on it.

    I hope this helps.

  • System recovery - replace files in own Place

HP Pavilion p6620f.  WIN 7.  I had a crash.  Had to perform a system recovery and restore factory settings.  As a result, I lost all my programs.  However, I made a backup of DVD when asked.  When I tried to decode the files in backup (.wim) 68 (some on all three of the DVD), he kept failure of satisfaction.  He failed three times in a row to the same 29% * wav file.  I then put all three DVDs in the same folder and still once he kept default, this 69% at the same time *. MDB file.  I then managed all the files (*.wim) with 7 - ZIP.  It seems that everything is present in the file system recovery, but... How can I get sorted in the correct position?  Is it still possible?  Each of the 68 files are now included in a separate folder (0.wim) becomes (C:/SystemRecovery/D-OS/filename) and (1.wim) becomes (C:/SystemRecovery/D-OS/filename) etc 68 times.

Once again: great question is how I put back them in their ORIGINAL position on the C: drive before the crash?  Is it still possible?  If this isn't the case, I need to do a lot of reloading unwanted of my software.  I am grateful that the system is now operational even if not full as it was.  Thanks for any help on this problem of looooong.

Thank you once again the Dragon fur,

I did it "your way" and I'm on duty again.  I also managed the system recovery backup file and found all my files 'data '.  The only thing lost had plenty of time to fix it.  I'm old and retired, so it could have been worse.  Thank you and this forum.  Joe

  • Worried about HARD drive recovery deleted files

    Hello

Recently I deleted files recovery from HARD drive on the second drive hard partitioned on my laptop so I could melt in a hard drive.
After doing so, I realized HDDRecovery can important.

But I'm a little confused if you backed up to DVD/CD I did in any case the same utility?

So I have nothing to fear?

    Hello

HARD drive recovery is a nifty feature that would allow you to recovery of the laptop without the use of the Recovery DVD.
You could simply recover the laptop using the recovery of HARD drive option.

But now it's not possible because you have modified, deleted the partition of HARD disk and therefore, you can only use the recovery disc.

I think it will not copy the files from HARD drive on the new partition recovery, because the previous HARD drive recovery contained some hidden signs and flags that advocates for HARD drive recovery settings

  • This is - HP Recovery Manager - file NOT back up backup RAW photo files?

My HP Pavilion dv7 laptop computer crashed.  By using the choices on the screen, I saved 'Images' (among other categories) to an external hard drive.  To be sure, I had it all, I downloaded the backup file to another HP computer (by using the "Restore.exe" program in the backup folder).  the only saved pictures seem to be ".jpg" or ".tiff" format  Most of my photos are in RAW format.  HP recovery program does not copy the RAW images?  Find it me hard to believe that HP would not design its recovery program to recover all picture formats.  If this isn't the case, it is a potential disaster.

You can try to boot from a Linux live CD to the rescue of the photos:

  • G6 Notebook PC Pavilion: recovery of files saved

My computer open only in "safe mode" so despite numerous attempts to find the problem, I did a factory restore using HP Manager. My files have been backed up on my external hard drive. I tried to restore the computer by using the Recovery Manager. The files have been saved in ' 184534 Backup_2015-08-20' and when I open it there is a subfolder 'Restore'.» When I click on it it tells me "file restore allows you to restore files that you have previously saved. I clicked on that and waited until he had finished.

I can not find my personal documents on the system. I found the files of program such as office, Canon, Adobe on the 'C' drive, but they won't open.

I'm not computer literate and have tried to use information on the HP support, nothing helps.

    I have a Pavilion g6 Notebook PC running Windows 7 64 bit.

Can any help! But for someone with no literacy when it comes to issues.

  • What type of recovery is files d needs

He said this area of your hard drive (partition) contains files used to perform a system restore... do not delete or modify these files... any change to this partition could prevent a recovery of the system in the future

    Hello

The manufacturer of your system created the D: partition to place the files that can either repair
your computer or even to give you the ability to restore the system from the factory-
State of the box (fee). Check with your system manufacturer support, their documents online-
increase and ask in their forums (if any) for more details.

See the system repair and recovery - recovery
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/help/system-repair-recovery

The best thing to do with the recovery Partition is to leave it alone.

    I hope this helps.

    Hey Miamigal

What do you mean by restoring the system

System Restore is going back in time with the settings of vista which does not affect the data

system recovery means that you reinstalled vista, back to factory standards how you bought, which wipes everytrhing hard disk

If the system recovery has been made chances of finding data are very thin, unless you pay a lot of data recovery experts

You can try the program in the link before contacting the below data recovery experts

  • Where are the installation of Vista on the recovery partition files stored?

Where are the real Vista installation files stored on the recovery partition? If it helps I have a Compaq Presario SR5601UK. They are all stored in a folder or are they distributed? A quick dir at the command prompt, the only way you can access the files :-(, revealed a large amount of .wim files, mainly in "preload", but none on about 100 MB in size. I just assumed that HP uses the real Vista installation process, just gives their graphical front-end and adds some garbage in. If he does not tell everything.

Anon, they all are on partition D: and no, this isn't a hidden Vista copy. It is integrated with the HP software. This is also why you cannot repair Vista unless you have a retail copy. Other you need to perform a restore.

You need to ask the person who encrypted the files. Because he wanted to be absolutely sure that the files cannot be opened with the appropriate key, he used an inviolable encryption method.

  • Recovery of files using a restore point?

    Hello

Recently I accidentally deleted an important file in my office all the time (not in the Recycle Bin). I checked on YouTube on how to recover lost files and I found several methods but they take weeks, months to find the file. I looked on a tutorial on how to recover files without downloads and because if you got in this directory: C:\Users, I could, do a right-click on my profile and click on previous versions and view an earlier version so retrieve the file. I did like but what came to me was this error 'not earlier versions available. '

So I read that windows feature retrieves files for restore pointsI have. I was wondering if I restore to a restore point manually in my computer, by the stopping and starting in recovery mode and recover my file. However, I have restored in the past (for other reasons) and every time I restore it always says "Files will not be affected." So that leaves me wondering if I manually restore my file will be come back or not?

Thanks, I tried to give more details and you would be grateful if you could help me.

    Andye Saeed.

If you have files in the trash and do a system restore, they will go to the place they were in. I don't think an SR will work for files deleted completely, but you can cancel a SR, so not bad, no fault.

  • Recovery system files - how to recover programs and files?

    Thanks for reading this post.

I had to perform a recovery using F11, that my system would not initialize. Constantly, he'd say he was restartin with it turns ping pong balls, but would not load.  Why it crashed is useless at this point.

    I run Windows 8.1 and uses a HP15 f039wm.

I saved my backup files before continuing the recovery.

As it is now the USB that was copied in my office has a folder named "System Recovery Files.

There is no .exe file I can locate in the breast.

More precisely my concerns are two: 1) I bought a subscription to Avast and wonder if I can reinstll, don't know where my license key is but could probably contact Avast.  (2) I downloaded Mozilla Thunderbird and have the emails and contacts from a variety of e-mail accounts and one account in particular I no longer have access to.

The $64 000 question is: can I get these programs works again with what I saved?

The issue of $99 or $14.99 per month over $ 35.00, fresh installation is, should I contact HP AND they would be able to fix if here, nothing works?

Thanks in advance and I thank you for anyone who can help on Thanksgiving.

You cannot reinstall programs from a backup. They must be reinstalled fresh. You may be able to save the backup of certain data related to programs.

  • recovery partition files

I am owner of laptops HP 4 and I'm so happy that I do because an infected virius my main computer and the only way to restore it was with the recovery partition, but know not I can only find 1 file microsoft word and all my mail is gone, although pieces of programs still exist and even some files still exist , the software said that it would not erase anything, can someone help me find, is a restoration of disk recovery program hard any loss of information, im really lost without all my most important info. Thank you very much

Manager software HP recovery using the recovery partition, impeccable well. It is designed to restore your computer to its default settings, with all that eraesd. In other words, the way in which he came when you opened the box.

If you have done this, then, unfortunately the chances of file recovery are very slim, if not non-existent.
