recovery of Windows 8 (if disk crash)
Hello
I bought windows 8 online, update of windows 7.
I had a bunch of files in a new directory named ESD and instructions to install win8.
I wonder what I could do to recover the whole, if the drive of my PC crashed.
In the past (I mean windows 7), I got a CD with the system recovery.
What of this "installation of windows 8 online?
Thank you very much

When I got to my PC, I've been back often and now there is no space left. When I answer the pop-up window, it only shows the Recylcl tray and there is nothing in there. The Vista operating system has been installed by the manufacturer. This popup really slows down my pc startup and when downloading.
Hello
Your recovery Partition was photographed on your hard drive during the production of your computer by the manufacturer for all of these reasons.
1. to reinstall Vista from in the case of a failure of the system, based on individuals or the keys at startup.
F10 or Alt + F10 or F11 are a couple of different manufacturers use sequences.
You will need to ask your manufacturer for proper sequence.
2. to make the recovery disks on if your drive hard breaks down, so that you can then reinstall the operating system on a new hard drive.
Also ask them how to make records.
Your D: Recovery Drive is should not be used for backups, defragmented, etc..
There are backups on an external hard drive.
To resolve the problems that have arisen with the recovery D: Partition, you will need to contact the manufacturer of your computer to remove all that has been added to it.

The Windows Vista startup disk crashes after the screen "loading files".
I am trying to install Windows Vista on a new computer. The computer recognizes the boot disk and I can go beyond the "Loading files" screen, but when I get to the screen that looks like the standard login screen, the menu to install Windows never appears. The display will be just what it was. Any help would be appreciated.

How to validate windows after the disk crash hard with or without pay for a new disk
Hello
Thanks for any help. My hard drive crashed after it overheated. Each attempt I used to reinstall or use a backup version failed because my hard drive could not be found. This disc that came with my computer was so useless. I had to go to a computer repair shop & buy a new CD with Windows 7 on their part. Now, when asked to reactivate it, it says my code is not genuine and is not even from America. I read in another message that a person would buy a CD to their computer manufacturer. I do now? I have the dang code for my original windows installation. It is right on the side of my computer Tower, but obviously it does not work as disc of the repair shop has a different code.
Now that my computer is totally fixed, is it possible for me to try and reinstall my windows with the repair disc supplied with my computer when I bought it? Alternatively, I can reset my computer to its factory installation? Are these files on my computer since I have used another drive? I'm guessing that probably not. Thanks again for any help.
Statistics of the computer:
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Hard drive: 1 TB
Memory: 3 GB
Processor Intel Pentium E58
I'm pretty computer illiterate, so if you tell me to go to a certain place and type a number of keys, I won't be able to understand it, even with the simplest explanations... I'm sorry.

> So why windows can't find hard disk and why can't I start windowds visat after installing with the recovery dvd?
On this virtual path, it is not easy to say why you can not install recovery image. It would be interesting to know if the same thing will happen when you replace the HARD with the same or identical.
This title was the original HARD drive?
If possible, try to get original Microsoft installation disc and check if the HARD drive will be recognized by Vista or Win7 and of course if you will be able to install and boot OS preinstalled.Regarding the installation of Windows XP Home edition: it is well known that the WXP installation will start properly due to lack of SATA driver that must be loaded prior to installation of WXP begins.

Restore disks lost recovery partition &; Windows XP
If I have two M series Thinkcentres with compatible machine types. Can I use a set of the first Thinkcentre restore disks to install Windows XP on a second Thinkcentre of the factory where the disk partition recovery and install has become corrupted?
As utilities and applications Thinkcentre install under a copy retail Windows XP (installed on a Thinkcentre)?
for example, the software fingerprint reader, Rescue and Recovery, Client Security, etc.
Yes, if the model is the same (same first 4 digits) you can use the recovery on the second machine disks. You will load the disks, and then once this process is complete, you select F11 at startup and then restore the factory state once the load the Windows recovery.
No specific request for Thinkcentre will load with a copy to the detail of Windows. You will need to go to the Lenovo download page and install the applications individually.

I lost my recovery for windows Vista disk. How can I restore the computer to its original factory State? I can't find how to create recovery discs, I did not have this option in the Recovery Manager
Hello
Here are the different ways to reinstall vista
Contact the computer manufacturer and ask them to send you to vista recovery disks to reinstall the operating system back as it was when you bought it
they do it for a nominal cost of $
also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought
you would normally press F10 or F11 or Alt + F10, 0 at startup to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer
Ask them of the exact key sequence
or borrow a microsoft dvd vista
Make sure that you borrow the correct 32-bit or 64-bit microsoft dvd to your computer
they contain all versions of vista
This is the product key that determines which version of vista is installed

Thank you...
If the information below doesn't work, you may need to contact the data recovery experts.
Data recovery:
1. slave of your hard drive in another computer and read/save your data out there.
2. put your Hard drive in a USB hard drive case, plug it into another computer and read/save from there.
3 Alternatively, use Knoppix Live CD to recover data:
http://www.Knopper.NET/Knoppix/index-en.html
Download/save the file Knoppix Live CD ISO above.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm
Download the Vista software from the link above.
After installing above ISO burning software, right click on the Knoppix ISO file > copy the Image to a CD.
Knoppix is not installed on your PC; use only the resources of your PC, RAM, graphics etc.
Change the boot order in YOUR computer/laptop to the CD/DVD Drive 1st in the boot order.
Plug a Flash Drive/Memory Stick, BOOT with the Live CD, and you should be able to read the hard drive.
When the desktop loads, you will see at least two drive hard icons on the desktop (one for your hard drive) and one for the USB key.
Click on the icons of hard drive to open and to understand which drive is which.
Click the icon for the USB drive and click on "Actions > Change the read/write mode" so you can write to disk (it is read-only by default for security reasons).
Now to find the files you want to back up, just drag and drop them on the USB. When you're done, shut down the system and remove the USB key.
See you soon.
I didt create a disk recovery for windows 7 Home premium and I lost the original and the recovery partition, but I have still the product key and the same laptop that was originally installed with windows 7 copy and now im turning my laptop with a fake copy, how to restore the original copy of windows 7?
Hello
You have certainly reduced your options
The only legal Windows 7 download available is now Microsoft, as Microsoft has stopped DigitalRiver Windows 7 ISO downloads.
http://www.Microsoft.com/en-us/software-recovery
But Microsoft only provides these downloads for Windows 7 keys to selling product at retail, not preinstalled OEM product keys (Dell, HP, etc.).
As you have licensed preinstalled OEM (Dell, HP, etc.), contact the manufacturer of your computer to order recovery media that they need to provide for a fee, if they still have them available.
Or you can also borrow the same exact retail edition DVD of Windows 7 and use your product key to reinstall.
See you soon.
Well, I recently built a machine using Windows XP, upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate with a disc of the full version and a key. The HARD drive is going after only two years. BIOS AND Windows give me warnings, and I'm a moderator paid for a Web site. My work depends on the stability of the machine; He needs a reconstruction and a new HARD drive. I have everything already backed up.
My question is, since I already activated my copy of windows, is there a way to activate it again on the next generation? Installation is always on a machine, I just need to be able to reactivate it. I don't have a lot of time. A quick response would be greatly appreciated.If your computer comes with a qualifying previous license such as Windows Vista or Windows XP and the certificate of authenticity is still attached to the machine in good condition, then the COST is reason enough to represent the compliance to the software license agreement. http://go.Microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=50163&clcid=0x0409Many many people have this problem when I talk to others. Miscrosoft compromises our computers so we would have to buy new ones?
They know there is a problem and they don't even try to find a solution for this. In this economy, they force people to buy new computers, they will just leave people blocked company becase NOBODY takes the phone, if you do not have email, people don't keep in touch, if you are not on a social network or business networking nobody will know your business, you won't make any money nobody reads the ACTUAL newspapers these days, everybody reads the news on the internet. They only hurt people, they are forcing anyone to buy a new computer, people just can't afford it. Hundreds of thousands of people can barely keep their utilities on. In doing so I wish they will reconsider. I am disabled I will definitely cut if my computer goes down for good.Can we do any smell that?
There are also a lot that I need to run startup until the restoration. Windows restarts after the crash of the blue screen, I reinstalled windows twice, it works fine until I have start to install all updates. I have only installed MSE and it still happens. I lost all my music I paid a lot of money for, my paintings for children, important documents, all because I had to reinstall windows twice now. I may have to reinstall them once more and I do NOT wish to install the updates again. He really never stops until I installed updates to windows. I thought that if I use the programs from Microsoft that it will work, because after all, it's all done by the same company, but no, nothing works. I am so in the sincere real despair. Be alone without technical skills, hardly what actually on my disability check, now I'm going to cut everyone. Now I can't do ANYTHING without it crashing, nothing fun anyway. I tried Microsoft fix, I tried so many solutions. I paid for Adobe photoshop, because I like to draw things and I'm terrified to install it. I'm afraid to do anything fun or useful on this computer.
If I can afford a new computer at any time, I think I will try Apple, I lost my trust in Windows. Unless they make an effort to solve this problem, then I would give them a chance again, but not if they will try to help. I'm so frustrated. I spend a lot of money on this computer, it's an ENTERTAINMENT laptop and I get not very amused.
What is going on?
Hello
Could be heat related - try using a small fan to blow into the air intakes to see if that helps.
It is just like it loses power or stop it in the normal way? Heat associated
does not necessarily mean excessive heat, it could be something is too sensitive to the same
normal levels of heat. Also a computer will produce more heat as is pointed out how adding
software or updates, among other measures, causes it. Of course those actions should not
Recovery of Windows Vista Premium with no installation CD
I had to reinstall completely portable my son after a number of virus caused his laptop Toshiba to failure, but the question I have is the fact that I don't have a installation CD any recovery or windows.
Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .
There is no Vista free download legal available.
Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.
Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.
In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.
Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.
They will tell you how to do this.
Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.
Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.
If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu
