  I recently bought an Alienware Area 51 r2. Its been works like a charm, until recently. I have about 4 months and recently he shot himself. I push the power button to turn it off, and it turns on. Sometimes it's instantly, sometimes it's a few hours later. There is no model really. Is there a way to check it and see why it is light on its own?

• (Redirected) Alienware Area 51 R2 - video card is dead - can I get a replacement?

  Curious to know if I use here. Last weekend I woke to my PC beep to a black screen. 6 beeps in a row over the post, then nothing. Beep codes indicate a video failure. I remove the Nvidia GTX980 card and replaced by another, I had. PC boots fine and video work. I try reinstalling the Nvidia card in different locations, check the cables and the alignment, still 6 beeps and no video.

  I bought the system in March 2015 and the warranty expired month last on 4/1. Of course :(

  Am I out of luck? It is an expensive problem to have happen after only 1 year.

  As you have no warranty, then you are "out of luck" greetings to Dell providing a free replacement graphics card.

  I bought an Area 51 in April and to in a month or two, he begins to block on the loading screen. When you press the power button, it goes screen Alienware and points to gel down and the computer wont do anything else. I waited 20 minutes and nothing. I have to hold the power button and wait until it turn off, and then try again. Tonight it's 5 times in a row so I came here. I paid for the premium support / Premium phone support and care full but for some wonderful reason when I click on technical support, it is said that she is not included and he gives me a number to call to pay the tech support by phone. • (Redirected) Alienware X 51 BSOD when installing the OS

  This morning, my X 51 lost his hard drive.  Completely lost.  Not recoverable.  I bought a nearly identical Seagate 2 TB HDD and after you have completely installed and running windows for the first time, I get a copy of blue Θcran simply stating "a problem has been detected and windows has been shut down."  Subsequent reboots causes an error no blue screen of ' the computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. "  Windows Setup cannot continue.  To install Windows, click "OK" to restart the computer, and then restart the installation"this of course simply a loop forever.

  It has reproduced himself on two hard drives different and two different OS install discs (OEM Alienware Win7 disc and media Windows 7 Pro).  I'm a little lost.  If I use original parts (, used the same model of HARD drive which has sold with) with the factory disc, you have to think you can at least get the operating system on.  Otherwise, anyone seen something like this?  Tips I am missing before I have to pronounce it dead?  Cursed thing is only a year and a half, but naturally out of warranty.

  Hello, I recently bought a new Alienware Area 51 R2, currently I have a 128 GB SSD main + 2 TB storage config. I want to add an other SSD, capable of 256 GB. I want to start my games from there.

  My Question is, what would be the best solution for my needs? I see so many types of SSD out there and have little knowledge about the benefits and disadvantages of each.

  I bought a dell alienware are 51 desktop PC I just deliver on Friday.  I would like to add another 980 Nvidia gtx card to that, but the SLI bridge comes in 3 different sizes, short, medium and long.  What I want to know is which bridge of size I need.  I can't find an image of hard drive so I don't know if pci express ports side by side or y at - it a regular PCI between them.

• Alienware area 51 bumps on the edges of sewing?

  Hello, do all the alienware area 51 have little bumps very very small metal on the edges of the seams when there is a gap on the side where the two metal parts connect to form the handle? tied of arrows with what we talk about.

  I need to upgrade RAM in my Alienware Area 51 R2 currently having DD4-2133 Non ECC RAM, 8 GB in 2 homes, 4 GB each in Total. My question is, can I use DDR4-2133 RAM ECC, 16 GB stick in the four locations, a total of 64 GB of RAM?

• (Redirected) Speakers with an Alienware Area 51

  I had crazy computer problems lately. A few friends put in place a computer for me and there were a lot of problems that I won't detail here, but it culminated with the motherboard is fried when I plugged in the speakers.  I finally gave up with home-built computer and ordered an Alienware Area 51 with a 1500w power supply. However, I am relics afraid to connect the speakers for fear of frying another card mother, though everyone tells me that what has happened is a stroke of luck and the other motherboard was faulty.  Right now I use a computer + 7 years, I had in the closet and the speakers work fine with it, and they also worked in my old computer, which was also an Alienware. My question is, is it possible that the speakers might be 'too powerful' or 'too high a power' to work on the computer that is on the right track? The speakers say they are 120-240 v, but I don't know how powerful they are. My future computer has a 1500w PSU and two GTX 970 graphics cards, but it seems that there should be a lot of power for speakers. Am I paranoid? Has anyone had the motherboard is fried by plugging in speakers?

• Alienware Area 51 R2 (end of 2014) ejection of the optical disc drive does not

  New Alienware Area 51 R2 (end of 2014) happened the month last in January 2015. Not tried any DVD or Blue-ray until yesterday. The optical drive eject button does not work in windows pro 8.1, but soft eject works in click with the right button on the drive and select "eject". The button works also before starting Windows start. I invited it must be a software problem and could be fixed by updating some drivers. But I googled a lot and can't find solutions for other Alienware models, but not for the Office of area 51 R2.

  Bluetooth also does not work, but fixed with a new driver from Intel.

• (Redirected) Alienware aurora r4 (end of 2011). My computer is the breaking of my gpu?

  Hi, I had trouble with my r4 Alienware Aurora (end of 2011). The original gpu was a 555 gtx, but I upgraded to an hd 7970 just a few months after I got the computer. This card lasted a year and the theanks to a three-year warranty, I got a new hd 7970 which also lasted about two years before he fell. Still, I got a new card of the company, that I bought, but this time, it was an x 280 r9. This card lasted about an hour before I started having accidents. I decided to send my computer to a company that troubleshoot computers and they concluded that it was the gpu that was broken and they couldn't find any problems with my other components so they think it was a mistake to plant on the r9. However this doesn't seem to be a coincedence, and I think that there is something in my computer that breaks my graphics cards.  Only one strange thing is that my original gtx 555 works perfectly.

  Has anyone else had this problem with their r4 aurora?

• Field has been redirected correctly but only Firefox go to the old site

  I built a new website for a client whose domain is registered with GoDaddy. The URL has been updated in GoDaddy and verified with one of their technicians. All other browsers I've tried going on the new site, but Firefox displays always the old site. The domain is http://www.auburnsummermusiccamp.com, the old site was hosted on Google and the new site is at http://www.karlinlouiseimrie.com/auburnmusic/. Firefox is my normal browser so I only tried other browsers when GoDaddy has confirmed that the redirect worked although I still got the old site. I tried to clear the cache and history.

  The URL without www. prefix redirects and presents the new website in an iframe:
