  Hello, I need help here because I can't really understand what causes the problem.

  I inserted a BioShock 2 legit installation DVD, and my CD/DVD drive does not detect. I tried to take the drive by pressing the eject ODD button, but nothing happened.

  Under 'My Computer' my drive does not appear.

  In Device Manager, it does not show any CD/DVD player either.

  I took a lot of steps trying to find out what is happening, and I thought it was a problem of software based.

  Ran the Dell diagnostics, Fix It, started and checked in safe mode and pretty much everything what they advised me to do in the guides.

• (Redirected) Alienware X 51 R2 will not start. Repair of the system sees no HARD drive

  Hey,.

  My X 51 died and I can't get it to work. Looking for suugestions.

  After months of random boot errors and re-formatting my HARD drive a few times it will not start upward. It starts either error that says "no found boot device" or it goes to a screen of "diagnosis" of dell alien ware which basically ends with a message saying either

  -reboot again

  -Advanced options > recovery cd, repair, ect.

  When I try to use the windows recovery CD 7 he does not see HARD drive (no HARD drive installed, that it is, I reinstalled it a few times too to make sure it was not a coward).

  -J' have a HARD drive, usb drive, and when I took out the HARD drive I can access my files NP via laptop, so I'm not confident, that's my HARD drive which * out.

  Now, before all this happened, I had to reformat my computer because it was literally so slow it would take like 5 minutes to open a folder (potential virus or something I don't know) and me random boot errors.

  Someone at - he had a similar experience?

  Hey, I thought that I wiped my computer yesterday and I let sit all night and when I woke up it was 97% when I went for breakfast, he was sitting on the first pop up screen when you start your computer with the sign of alienware and a loading animation. Its been sitting all day and it hasn't moved on again, any ideas on what might happen or what I could do to fix it?

• (Redirected) Alienware x 51 R2 does not not to ANY USB

  So, I had a problem recently where only a few select USB devices would actually in my 51 x, these are:

  • The default keyboard and mouse came with the computer
  • Microsoft Lifecam webcam
  • Headset USB venom

  And I have devices that would work at all for some reason any:

  • Ice blue microphone snowball
  • Portable hard drive Samsung M3
  • A lesser brand games controller
  • X12Headset Lautsprecher

  I turned to a mess of aid, one being the @AlienwareTech support twitter, they advised me to go into the Device Manager and delete all devices under "universal serial bus controllers" heading other than the intel ones, so I started to do this, starting at the bottom that says "usb root hub" which I assumed would be nice as I've told everything apart from the stuff intel uninstall, then restart my system.

  As soon as I uninstalled it all my devices no longer works, so I used the power button and pressed once to shut down my computer and then restarted, still, nothing works, no keyboard, I can't connect even on my device.

  What should I do?

• T61 with Win2003 drivers not available

  Hello. Due to the requirements of an application I need to install in the T61, I need to install Win2003. However, after formatting & Installationavecuneracine Win2003, I can't find a lot of pilots as it seems that Lenovo does not support the Win2003. What should I do?

  There may be cases where the Win 2000 drivers will install.   all you can do is try.   When I installed first 2003 on my T42p way in 2004, it took me two weeks to find 95% of the drivers I need.   Today, it is much easier.

  I did some update of windows for windows 8, after completing installation it restarted the pc. Now the PC won't start all the way to the top after logo screen it goes completely blank.  Ive rebooted several times without success... I tried to figure out out to do a factory reset and no luck.  Ive researched and found other forums, that you must contact Dell and pay money for them so that you can find reset software. Someone knows how can I do a factory reset on the pc without having to call dell and pay the money?

• Error! Camera not available!

  My phone frequently returns a message "error!" Camera is not available! "at the opening of any application that uses a camera.   IT FIXED! problem with the camera not available error AND flashlight missing has been resolved by installing the new camera. It is a HARDWARE PROBLEM, not a software problem. Clear your cache all you want, it won't help. Removing applications will not help. Physically change the camera worked. Although the factory seal is gone so now it is probably more waterproof.

• photo library is not available when synchronize with the iPod touch

  When syncing my iPod Touch with iTunes & Photo, I get a message saying could not synchronize the photos because the photo library is not available, please try again later.

  I realized that the 3D view of google maps is not available using Safari (9.0.3) using the google chrome browser that this option is there and working. (I'm on iMac 21.5 "2012 with OS X El Capitan) Thanks for the help

  It has been like this since at least 8 Safari. It's that something ordered by Google. Safari displays the compass if you change the user agent for Chrome or Firefox.

  If you want to see the 3D option, go to Safari-> Preferences-> advanced and enable the option "see her develop menu in the menu bar. Then go into the menu to point and select "Google Chrome" or "Firefox".
