  IF your domain name expired has nothing to do with BC. You can't do anything in British Colombia if this is the case. You need to go to your registration office and pay the Bill there.

• Windows 7 cannot resolve the ip addresses of domain names

  I have a desktop computer that I built components purchased in a major computer store.  I got this system works well for several months, now.  Recently, however, I met a problem with one of the modules of memory of 2 GB.  I deleted (because it turned out to be defective) and, shortly AFTER his withdrawal, have another problem with the resolution of Internet domain name.  I have to say that I also installed my old Windows XP as an alternative OS and updated to sp3 (it is, in fact, that I use to access the internet and write this query).  As you can see, XP I have no problem with internet access or name resolution.  There are two other systems connected to the home network via wi - fi (one equipped with Windows Vista and the other a tablet PC running Windows XP Tablet Edition) and none of them have no access to the internet problem.  I ran ipconfig/release and / renew without any result.

  I did all the following: netsh winsock reset catalog
  netsh int ip reset reset.log
  netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log.
  Still no access.

  !).  I have also turned off my system, removed the card wireless adapter, waited for about 15 minutes, re-inserted in the PCI slot and return to market the system.  This, of course, did nothing, either.
  After the search for several days and trying various tactics and bugs as suggested all over the web, I'm at the end of my limited knowledge and patience with this problem.  Any help that will solve this problem and allow my Windows 7 to access, once again, the internet would be greatly appreciated.  As a last resort, I might have to re - install Windows 7, but I also read the posts where others have done so, but nothing helped. :(

  In fact, I have since fixed my problem.  Believe it or not, it wasn't any major and detailed process.  It was a very simple thing that NONE of the resolutions on that I read even suggested might be the cause, so I don't even think to check it out.  Apparently, at any given time a week ago, or NAME of the COMPUTER, something erased my!  I forgot how I found this, but I think that I went to my device manager by double-clicking on the icon "Computer" and select 'Properties' and happened to notice that, under 'Settings of computer name, domain, and workgroup', the ' computer name: "and" full computer name: "fields were empty!

  SO, I clicked on 'Advanced system settings' on the left of the window properties, select the "computer name" tab (1st one at the top left of the window that has popped up) and down to "to rename this computer, click on change." I clicked on the button 'change... '. ».

We have assigned a reserved IP address and I don't see any way to do this via the internal settings of the DMP - 4400G. The static value I'm afraid will require a hard reboot to the endpoint.   Hello, the following comments are NOT officially supported by Cisco TAC but can help in the fulfillment of what you need to do.  The operating system for Cisco for the DMP runs UDHCP.  Says there is a way to "Liberate" the DMP's current IP address.

  Method correct procedure to a secondary IP address assignment is either statically configure the IP on the DMP and restart OR configure the DHCP scope to statically assign a specific IP address for the DMP, then restart. Of course, you would do this during a scheduled maintenance period and have someone on site just in case something goes wrong.

  Thus, measures to "liberate" the question a DHCP discover on the DPM and IP config is as follows:

  Note: If the TAC is not already activated, this will also require a restart to allow root access.

  * The first thing is to allow root access to the DPM.  Access the Admin Web DMP interface. Under the section of the Administration of the Web graphic button, select MANAGEMENT of DMP and "Enable Cisco TAC Troubleshoot Access" and click APPLY.  In the ACCOUNT of SERVICE of DMP section, set the TAC account, password and click on APPLY button.

  * A reboot is required to SAVE the changes above.  Select administration ECONOMY and RESTART of the DMP.  Click on the button SAVE, then RESTART button to restart the DMP.

  * Once the DMP has rebooted, you can check the changes to make sure ROOT access is enabled.

  Go and browser HTTP, use the URL https:///show-tech

  Search for "Root access" enabled and you should see something like:

  * After 'Root' access is enabled, you can SSH to the DPM as USER 'root '.  Login with the password of account TAC Service you have installed previously.

  * Change to/sbin directory and issue the command "deconfig udhcpc.

  Hi, I have a few interesting problems with windows 7 DNS.

  Here are the details:

  Windows 7 Enterprise 32 bit computer, joined a Win2k3 AD.
  my domain name for example of purposes is called corp.example.info.
  I have a child domain: prod.corp.example.info and in this child domain
  is a host: 'test '.   COMPLETE the test domain name is: test.prod.corp.example.info.
  In this case, 'test' is a CNAME, but the error occurs regardless
  the type of DNS record.

  My problem is that if I ping test.prod I get host not found.
  If I ping test.prod.corp.example.info, everything works fine.

  If I do a nslookup on test.prod, I get the correct results.
  If I do a nslookup on test.prod.corp.example.info I get the correct results.
  (This tells me that the files work correctly in DNS)

  I have no firewall on my Win7 machine, or something funky.

  I have other operating systems in the field: machines RHEL4 and RHEL5, WinXP, HP - UX
  and each of them can properly resolve "test.prod" correctly. I have not tried on Windows Alaric, as there is no shortage of it here.

  There is no entry in my C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file and it is not damaged.

  I tried ipconfig/flushdns / release / renew, /register/ etc. nothing works.

  I have an IP address in the DHCP scope for this particular machine,
  but the machine receives its IP address from the DHCP server (not sure that it of important, but including at least)

  All advanced settings on my Win 7 IPV4 stack corresponding parameters of the functional XP machine.

  I made trace wireshark on my machine Win7 and XP machines, and here are my results:

  WinXP:

  (1) client machine sends a query to the DNS server (in this case, my domain controller)
  'test.prod '.
  (2) DNS server returns a "No Such Name" standard query response

  (3) client machine sends a DNS query for "test.prod.corp.example.info."

  (4) DNS server returns a response of standard query with the correct record.

  Win7:

  (1) client machine sends a query to the DNS server (in this case, my domain controller)
  'test.prod '.
  (2) DNS server returns a response of "No Such Name" use query

  At this point, the Win7 machine gives up and returns could not find host.
  Naturally, I checked my settings advanced IPv4 and verified that they are identical to the work
  XP machine.

• Pointing the old domain name for the domain name

  I have two domain names that I used previously (name of the other company, different domain name) pointing to my current domain name. This was done in the belief that it would be bad for SEO to let them expire, because the content of the site was essentially the same for all three areas.

  My question is should I keep renewing these two previous areas forever, or else risk the consequences in the trail of a huge fall in SEO? Or is there a period of time that I can 'wean' my current domain of these previous areas and then stand on its own? I have been using the current domain for 3 years, others back to 2008 or more.

  Surely someone out there has experienced a similar situation if non-identiques.

  If the areas are important for the company (used in the print advertising for example) I would keep the. It can also be useful for tracking what gets the most use.

  Once the actual pages that the areas initially pointed are pulled down, it is doubtful that you would see no advantage in SEO. I don't think one second that several areas simply pointing to the same set of pages might give you a better ranking for a given search term or phrase. If that were the case, then the first result for every search should be site "little blue pill" a spammer with hundreds, if not thousands of domain names pointing to it.

  Everything I've seen from Google, I guess that once their caterpillars go to re - indexing the domain redirection and the end upward in the current domain, any provision of referencing of the content of the original site, links to the current site would be lost.   I would recommend you open a support case license with VMware (from the portal of my VMware) on behalf of your client and explain what you see now and how it is supposed to look like. Provide details regarding the purchase of renewals (no matter what email address on the order form of renewal might be important).

  From my experience, licenses support is extremely helpful and I am sure that they will be able to get it straightened up in no time.

• Problem of snapshot - unable to renew their commitment

  I was recently contacted by a work colleague who is responsible for a small office which used the version 1.0.8 of the build-126538 VMware Server.  They have discovered that they had a snapshot file that has been created in 2006 on two of their important VM.  One is a file server 52 GB with a snapshot of 51 GB file and the other is a domain controller with a vmdk to 20 GB that has also a REDO file is now 8 GB.  I'm trying to find out if there are options to renew their commitment to these files, as we do in the full version of ESX.  The service console does not recognize that they exist and that it does not provide the option of taking even a new.

  I'm considering as an option to use VMware converter and create a new virtual machine but prefer to re-engage the snapshot and continue to use current systems if possible.  Also, we came across an old post where someone changed some entries version in the VMX file that triggered new options to renew their commitment when the virtual machine is restarted.  I asked me to test this option copies of VM smaller files.

  Hi Hermann!

  Rebranding basically doesn't really affect your account much.  It is simply the whitelabeled system is more SEO BC in the system URL and images (logo, email system, etc.)

  • Can I still access my website? Yes, add you add the domain for your site and redelegate that you can access using the new domain name or the URL system prior.
  • Can I send and receive emails? Yes, it's where you choose when you add your domain on the site.  You will be presented with options for your e-mail settings (with BC or remain outside).  Choose accordingly and note BC has no email migration so eager to keep all your existing emails you will need back-up or continue to use the external email provider.
  • What happens to my emails always 'hosted' to my 'old' provider´s server? Y is there a risk of losing one of my emails and how do I move them to BC´s platform?  When you add your domain to your partner site name choose this service.  But let the e-mail "external supplier" settings, assuming you want to keep the emails with the external mail host. So basically you can Rebrand everything by having the external email provider.
