Hi all

I'm on Linux and Apps is 11.5.10.2

I am getting error REP-3000 (internal error statring toolkit). It is to address several times before, but I'm not able to solve the problem. And I'm referring to the following documentation

Troubleshooting for REP-3000 error when running reports POSTSCRIPT/PDF/HTML [207532.1 ID]

Overview Guide [200474.1 ID] & complete troubleshooting REP-3000.

Applications whose o/p is pdf receive this error.

I have Putty to connect to the server. When I check the DISPLAY variable on terminal putty it shows empty.

But when I'm sitting physically on the server it shows the DISPLAY variable as hostname:0.0

Why does show like that.

You are correct, but if you do not have a terminal screen connected directly on the server, then you need to set the DISPLAY of the IP address (or host name) of the machine in the screen.

I can see in the context file that display value is set for the correct server name.

I can access the simultaneous server using PuTTY.

When I display the value

xterm Xt error: can't open display: 10.1.7.160:0.0
IP concurrent server - 10.1.7.160
I can't on screen as I can access through PuTTY.

Details of approx.

Version of apps - 11.5.10.2
Version of DB - 11.2.0.1
OPERATING SYSTEM - IBM AIX 6.1

I guess that is not the path. Do I have to create the directory/usr/tmp/XMLTEMP. Y at - it no doc metalink to set up the report for the XML editor.

Xvnc Solaris configuration - get 3000 REP
Hi try to configure Xvnc for solaris 10.

Became REP:3000 and so am following Metalink Note configuration of VNC or XVFB as The X Server For Applications 11i [181244.1 ID].

The Setup gives me the following output:

You will need a password to access your desktop.

However, the log file contains the following:

I noticed that the "vnc" directory does not exist in/home/appsuml/vnc/classes.

I went through the forum, but not managed to find something to help again.

You must connect to your VNC system and you will need to type xhost xhost or IP , if you can't connect via VNC then if it can run the same command on the server (with the root user)

If I run the vncserver as user applmgr command, I get the error message:

You must run the command as root and you must type xhost + and then you can run something (like new installation etc..) on the user applmgr

Problem running Oracle PDF reports on EBS

I installed Oracle EBS 11.5.9 and database version 9 on a virtualization computer running IBM AIX 5.3

If xhost + is not running on the console, reports does not.

On a non virtualized machine which is the autonomic system, after starting the Oracle database and services (application), one must connect as root on the console and run the command:

# xhost +.
disabled access control, customers can connect from any host

Now, as the machines of virtualization is not a console, as well as the telnet session, how can I use the xhost + command to activate the PDF reports?

For example try to view the PDF report for active users == > SYSADMIN == > REQUESTS == > RUN == > ACTIVE USERS

Then, I get this error message:

In the problem summary:

running xhost + using xmanager on a virtualized machine will not work even if you get the message when you run the command of xmanager
# xhost +.
disabled access control, customers can connect from any host

This is useful information from where I ran the xhost +.

Note: testserver is the windows machine I used to connect to the Oracle Machine Xmanager

Note: the above shows that it is not console - lscons on a console would show as/dev/lft0

I tried the reports once again and the same error.

I understand that you were able to run the command xclock, so in this case you must set the value of the variable DISPLAY (testserver:0.0) in the application context file, run AutoConfig and bounce the services again.

Simultaneous program completed with warning

Hi team

I am trying to generate a XML Publisher report, that i generate the XML code in the file RDF, creation and RTF designed and loaded the XML for this model RTF model
Created the simultaneous request
The Editor created the definition of data and model in my xml finally added my program contributing to the application group... I did all this correct to the best of my knowledge

When I submit the request he gets filled with the State of alert and the output pdf file isn't genereted when I checked the log view I do not understand why it causes? Please suggest me what is cause and should I need to do more to process my application

release of the report as a PDF instead of TEXT

I use the oracle E - bS version 11.5.10.2 application and I want ORACLE reports output in PDF format instead of the default format of standard 'text' (the place where v record simultaneous programs). then you can tell me what changes should I make to achieve my goal, I had change pdf format in the simultaneous program and run the report, but it displays error as follows:

REP-3000: internal error from Oracle Toolkit.

Please, I beg you. share your knowledge regarding.

You are better off using the XML Editor to do this. A ton of reports Oracle planted have been converted to XML Publisher in R12 as well.

I downloaded the VNC server for windows.

I have installed vnc viewer version 4.

Wen, I get the IP of the server in the drop-down list.

Unable to connect to the host connection: refused (10061)

How can I connect like VNC server to resolve the REP:3000 error.

I want to know after the complete installation of e - biz suite we have additional packages or anything like that, so that reuquests, whose output is in the bit map report can be seen. As on my laptop when I run conc. req by selecting o/p in PDF for the users of the active it-error

Manually change the VIEW port number

Our 11.5.9 system simultaneous report ADF, we have started a background service X at the Admin level for running report server. As the UNIX admin request, we must change the port number for X windows. Since it's the production, we have a lot of customization, I want to avoid undate the context file and run the automatic configuration service. Therefore, I tried to change the DISPLAY setting in the files of the environment on levels directly. However, it does not work. Does anyone know what I missed?

Here is the list of the files that I hit.

adcmctl.sh, adrepctl.sh, $IAS_ORACLE_HOME/Apache/Jserv/*.properties on two levels, re - has bounced back after the application.

I am running instance TEST and development on the same material (one server)

Operating system is hp-ux 11.11
EBS on TEST is 11.5.10.2
Test database is 10.2.0.3
EBS development is 11.5.10
database development is 9.2.0.5

I have difficulty in listening outside mode put reports on the devlpment instance, that case out by giving this error

INTERNAL REP-3000: ERROR STARTING ORACLE TOOLKIT

but the same report runs on test with no problems

I checked the DISPLAY setting on two instances

for the test, it is

Hello David,.

Our tests of development has tested 32 knots during our tests of performance/scalability. That being said we have several clients who have more than 100 devices in a ring without problem. There is no hard/FAST rule on exactly what is supported and not supported. More switches in the ring will equal more slow time of convergence and the response to a failure. Even with 100 devices in a ring time of convergence is always substantially improved over the RSTP.

E5530 + Intel HD 3000 plus Advanced Docking Station is no triple monitors?

It does not appear that a Dell Latitude E5530 with Intel HD 3000 graphics and a Docking Station advanced brings the possibility to use two external monitors OVER the laptop monitor. Why? Why Dell would push a docking solution that supports supported two external monitors if the laptop monitor would leave when two external monitors are connected to the workstation? Frankly I think it's sneaky. I feel to chip away at. They got an additional $ 200 or more out of me for nothing. Why would someone buy an expensive docking station takes supported two external monitors if the intention was NOT to use three monitors? Has any sense at all.

Dell reference... it wouldn't have happened if you had taken away local sales reps in my area. These idiots you turn on the phone (and switch on every 2-3 months) and call it "sellers" are anything but. Our 'seller' actually told me on the phone that this laptop and this docking station would support three monitors. Flat, he lied to me. And now I have no recourse. I can't believe that I live in a city of 600,000 inhabitants and Dell cannot fit to hide even a single human living on this territory. Ridiculous. This would not have happened 5 years ago when I had a direct representative to visit me every month.

The E5530 is the model of 'budget' - upgrade to the best video that you would have needed to buy the E6530, which has the hybrid video option.

Thunderbird downloaded 3000 old messages yesterday... why?

A Thunderbird download unsolicited messages have resulted in about 3000 messages download yesterday.

What would cause this? I was storing some files limit... somewhere? I have a virus or something like that?

There is a file in your profile called popstate.dat that Thunderbird uses to "remember" where are included with downloads. If it is corrupted in some way what you see occurs.
