    OT: kb2463332.

Hello from down under, I have a laptop Toshiba A300 Vista home premium, AVG Anti Virus and a windows automatic update. I get an update with KB2463332 repeatedly over and over again which then of course wants me to install the item. When I check my update history it tells me it has updated most of the time, but there are times where it does not, probably 4 of 6. I then check my downloaded updates and it isn't here, but all other updates are there. I am a little concerned, as has happened for a few months and I, m not good in computers, but in saying that I can go to the microsoft support, but most of the time it freezes for some reason any. Thank you to watch it, I don't ask him because it means that I have missed. EJ

  • I am repeatedly offered Windows Vista Service Pack 1, even though I downloaded and installed successfully.

Original title: Windows Vista SP1 64 bit (KB936330) 1.5 MB update.

I just reformat my computer and am trying to do the update process.  I use Microsoft Vista 64 bit and got most of the SP1 is installed.  TI completed most of it restarted, full of a few other updates and is now stuck on 1 part of the update.

He keeps asking to install "Windows Vista Service Pack 1 for x 64-based Systems (KB936330) which is a 1.5 MB file.»  I go through the process.  He told me that I downloaded and installed successfully, and then when I hit the button to Windows Update, there is still wanting to be installed.

I'm sure that this issue has arisen before but most of what I saw refers to the two error codes or problems with the installation of SP1 together.  Help, please!

I had the same problem, I must have downloaded and installed sp1 about 10 times and there is no way that he was only 1.9 MB.

I finished downloading it manually from the main site of Microsoft.
    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=30
Once you are done installing the update and Windows update tent always updated sp1, simply click on "check for updates" at the top left of the window, and who should confirm that sp1 has been updated and it should not try sp1 update more.
It took about 1-2 hours in total, but it worked for me, hope this helped.
  • They will continue to offer Windows updated for Windows 8?

I was wondering if MS will always have updates for Windows 8. I have not updated to 8.1 and have noticed that I didn't update for a month. Anyone know if they are to stop these completely updates?

    Thank you

In fact, this should answer your question, unless by updates, you're talking about something completely different from Windows updates?

If you look at the chart I posted, you can see updates for Windows 8 (NOT 8.1) are ending January 9, 2018. Updates to 8.1 are ending January 10, 2023.

    Kind regards

  • Windows Update repeatedly offers the KB2565063 update and I can not install

Repeatedly offered Windows Update is (KB2565063), but when I try to install it continues for long periods of time with no progression of the installation made.

As I try to download the "vcredist_x86.exe" file is what is happening in the install window:

    Install window:
'Security check of the file' progress is progressing at a normal speed and finishes very quickly his task. Progress bar goes green in less than 15 sec.
    Lower than:
On the Installation progress bar: it seems to work (small circle is moving to the right), but he never makes any progress installation file. I have let it run up to 30 min with no Visual progression.
The file that is trying to be loaded at the bottom is: "msp_KB2565063"... the KB2565063 is the update file in the original post, I had trouble downloading.
    Other suggestions?
