I can't find Vault battery to change the batteries in the wireless mouse, please show me where.

    Hi mydavid0615,

Without knowing the manufacturer, the brand and model of the mouse, it is difficult to say.  They are all different.

But that being said, I've seen most have a button or a push bottom bar who, when you move it going to go get the cover of the box that contains the batteries (I found is normally on the top at the back of the mouse, but you can not and should not attempt to open until you release as indicated).

If this does not help, then please provide us with the information above on the mouse and we will try to help you the information on its website.

    Good luck!

  • Is a Wireless Optical Mouse 5000 a plug-in replacement for the supplied mouse as part an integral of the Wireless optical Desktop Pro?

    Hello

    Question title:

Is a Wireless Optical Mouse 5000 a plug-in replacement for the supplied mouse as part an integral of the Wireless optical Desktop Pro?

I have spoecifically need to know if it has exactly the same features of the IntelliPoint and know if it will work with the transmitter/receiver provided with the Optical Desktop Pro wireless.  I know that the OM 5000 is provided with its own transmitter/receiver, but I don't want to have more than one on my desk.

    Thank you

    Boo

    Hope this information is useful.

Well it is obviously not useful to say that you do not know!

Let me know if it worked.

For someone else who has a problem with the IntelliMouse provided as part of the Wireless Optical Desktop Pro (which is a Wireless Intellimouse Ex plorer 2.0 is told by the way), then they may be interested to know that the Wireless Optical Mouse 5000 works very well with the dongle WODP although the pointer speed necessary to decline slightly with one I had.

  • I started having problems with the wireless mouse and the carpet of my laptop - Lenovo ThinkPad T420 mouse.

Original title: right click on the mouse itself activating

I borrowed a USB to a person at work and I started having problems with the wireless mouse and the carpet of my laptop - Lenovo ThinkPad T420 mouse. The left click of two devices works normally, however, sometimes she does not respond to clicks and it takes a few seconds to work. The left button was constantly starts to turn on, as if he was stuck. After that I hit Alt + Tab and modify windows it stops for a few moments and starts at a later date. I havo not found a specific condition or a combination of keys that may trigger the fault.

I read a few posts on discussion forums, but all say that it could be a hardware problem, which I think is not, because both devices have the same problem and I'm sure it all started with the insertion of the borrowed memory stick. I scanned the readers to help Symantec's EndPoint Protection and installed Microsoft Security Essentials and performed a full scan, but found nothing. I even restored the system, but the problem remains.

Should I get a different antivirus? How can I find the cause so I can find a better targeted solution?

Try to install the drivers from this link and check.

You have the original installation media supplied with your machine? This would be a way: use the DVD to boot from, format the new hard drive and then reinstall the operating system. You can then update/upgrade to 10.11.

Other than that, your model was not eligible to have its firmware updated to allow for the recovery of the internet which is the only other way I know - at least the only other way besides a bootable clone, you did before your defective hard disks.

Do not think to partition/format your new drive first.

You are allowed to activate the software on two computers. If this is your second installation on the new machine, the software should assign without problem.

  • Track issues with the Wireless Mouse 5000 bought with Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000...

Just bought a Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse (Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000). For some reason any mouse is pointing upwards and is not followed correctly. What seems to be the case after a few minutes of use tracking becomes unstable and it feels like the mouse pointer is delayed and begins to jump around the screen. It is even more evident when I start trying to drag windows around the office and if I drag too fast it starts to "hiccup" (best I can describe it) and it seems to miss a few frames per second that I am dragging to the desktop. I noticed in games, especially the FPS, quick turns because of the mouse to lose track, and a second, I'm facing forward and the other second I'm back, with no apparent transition between the two. I tried to disable the accuracy monitoring, but to no avail... For any help or suggestion would be appreciated...

I use Windows 7 Professional and have no such problems with 8 year old Logitech wireless mouse, this keyboard is replacement.

I know this is an old thread, but I can see nowear where the problem has been resolved.  I have a Logitech wireless mouse on my laptop and a thread on my desk, both had the same problem. The problem has been solved for me using just a mouse pad, no problem since! This answer may be there somewhere but I didn't fall on it even from Microsoft (surprise). Incidentally, my mousepad is often a sheet of A4 paper on a clip board. If someone actually reads this please let me know if it was any help.

  • The wireless mouse pointer behaves badly in desktop Acer

Original title: have a counter top and just brought a mouse and a wireless keyboard, arrow appear everywhere and have to wait for it to settle down before continuing where I want to go, please advice thanks

    Hi Sabnazzy,

Welcome to the community of Microsoft and thanks for posting the question. According to your description, wireless mouse does not work properly. I've surely you will help find a solution on the issue.

    1. What is the model number for Acer desktop computer?

    2. What is the brand and model of the keyboard and wireless mouse?

    3. not this problem occurs when you run a specific program or out of order?

Method 1: Try to insert another port of the mouse and check.

Try to connect the receiver to a different port. Then check the behavior of the device. By trying the receiver on a different port, you can eliminate all the problems affecting the port itself.

    Method 2:

Put the computer in a State of boot is a way to know which application is causing this problem.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.

Step 1: Follow the steps in the link below to do the same thing:

How to configure Windows XP to start in a "clean boot" State

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as shown here:

Step 2: To configure Windows to use a Normal startup state

After you have used the boot is a way to solve your problem, you can follow these steps to configure Windows XP to start normally.

    a. click Start, and then run.

    b. type msconfigand click OK. The System Configuration utility dialog box appears.

    c. click on the general tab, click Normal startup - load all services and device drivers and then click on OK.

    d. When you are prompted, click restart to restart the computer.

If you need assistance in upgrading Windows 8, I suggest you to return the items. You can check hardware compatibility by using the upgrade wizard tool.

  • F11 key does not not in windows 7 - have the keyboard and the wireless mouse

I had problems with my computer HP not recognize my second USB (:) drive J.  I called HP and the last thing said the tech support person had to restart and use the F11 key as soon as POSSIBLE.  I tried for 90 minutes, get the f11 key to work with absolutely no luck.  What is the wireless component which is too slow and I need a wired mouse and keyboard to "beat the clock"?  My f11 key invalid?

There is practically no time to go into the system diagnostics no matter how long my fingers type.

Well, honestly I don't know why he asked you to press F11, is perhaps just a key that will work for HP computers.

    Most computer manufacturers use generally:
-F2 to access the BIOS Setup
-F10 - F8 to access the list of available boot devices. Example CD, hard drive, USB etc.
-F8 is for menu of boot loader Windows, where you can choose to start mode without failure, mode safe mode with networking, safe mode with command prompt... etc.
-Check if you have a KEY named F-Lock on your keyboard.
-During the reboot, press Caps Lock funct - and then try pressing F11.
Sometimes this worked for me, in my case, I have a MS ergonomic keyboard which contains an F-Lock to enable and disable F keys.
I hope that this help, my apologies for not having more information.
