replacement printer c510a

I need to know how to use my existing efax with a spare printer c510a number

Hello

Thank you for your response.

Yes, you can do it now too. If you do not get this option now, you may have to reset the printer and then, you will have to start the process.

HP sent me a replacement rather than repair printer.  I can't access now myInstant ink cartridges I used with the original printer.  How can I change that, I can end any information online and it's hard to make it sound between 9 and 6.

    Hey @Dolphin14,

Thanks for posting in the Forum from HP Support.

I see that you're looking to reactivate your instant service of ink on an HP ENVY 5530 e-all-in-one printer replacement.  I would like to help.

Essentially, your new printer needs to be "enrolled" in instant ink and will require a few subtleties of an instant ink HP agent account.  This is where your original account is obsolete and your existing HP connected and the printer identification information entered in a new instant ink account.  Note that these administrative procedures are not something you can do for your self as quickly or effectively as an agent, then you will need to reach out for support.  I understand perfectly that the hours are not the best option for everyone.  Fortunately, you have a few other methods at your disposal.

    Here's how:

Click here to log into your instant account of ink.

Then use the following screenshots to navigate your way to all the available support options:

    Click 'contact support '.

Then, fill in all fields to create a deal (I skipped this screen that I didn't post any personal info) - this will lead you to the final screen where you can select Chat or by Email.

Let me know if it helps.  If I helped you to solve the problem, feel free to give me a virtual h.o.t. by clicking the "Thumbs Up" icon below and by clicking to accept this solution.

Thanks again for your post and have a great weekend!

  • 5530 Evvy replaced printer - need to replace the driver and software?

    Hello

Recently, I had to feel my 5530 all-in-One printer replaced while it was still under warranty. The replacement came with new driver software and everything, but since it is the same model that I decided not to install it and use the existing driver installed on computers instead. (Replacement not be come with directions for uninstall, said by the way.)

The new printer is connected to the wireless network (using touch screen) and is recognized by computers on the network, but I can't get anything to print, since the existing driver HP software does not seem to 'find' the printer. Do I still need to uninstall the driver and reinstall? And what about the other programs installed with HP printer?

The computers are all Windows 7 64 bit.  I'm not very technical, so it makes me a little nervous.

Thanks for any help you can give.

Running the diagnostics to http://www.hp.com/go/tools can help solve the problem.

  • Replaced print head PhotosmartPlus 210 has; still no black

When printing, black does not show. I followed the instructions in the troubleshooting online. I have cleaned the print heads, bought a new print head and installed it. Now, the message reads: "line up failed." How can I fix this?  Fine color prints. Black is still missing. I use new cartridges. I've recently upgraded to Mavericks and wonder if that's part of the problem. I have Photosmart Plus 210 has.  I would like to resolve the problem before giving up and buying a newprinter.

  • refil cartridges or replace printer each time

IM in a debate with myself, I have a printer hp 1050 has cost £25 with included cartridges (ithink xl ones)

Im trying to decide to do for the filling of cartridges, or when these cartridges are empty throw the printer away and buy a new one.

Refil kits are reasonably priced but cartridges (standard those not xl) are more expensive that the printer costs to buy

  • HP Photosmart eStation e-all-in-one printer - C510a print Yellow!

Installed new cartridge, cleaned heads and still yellow!

The printer has worked for five 5 months without any problem and has been used for about a month after it happened:

Cyan and yellow does not work, a clean head got cyan to work. But the yellow is still not working even after than install new cartridge and 10 + head cleans.

Even tried to manually clean the heads with rubbing alcohol.

    What can I do else?

    Well... I resolved myself.

    Here's what I did:

    Removed cartridges

    Removed print head

Place the printhead in the alcohol to friction for an hour

    Dried head

And assembled the printer again and everything worked.

  • Photosmart Pro B9180 'Replace due to defective print head' WARNING

My B9180 gave me the msg "replace the defective print head" after a period of inactivity.  I'm using Snow Leopard on a Mac Pro 10.6.8.  The printer went through several periods of non-use, since I bought it used, but almost nine.  Usually, I experience white lines in my impressions after using the printer, I've always been able to fix by cleaning of the nozzles and/or the print heads, either automatically, or manually.  The last round resulted in the warning "defective printhead" even after repeated manual cleaning.  In fact, the process to put off the printer and back, with and without unplugging it, led to 'replace' warnings for ALL the printheads several times, only 2 print heads a couple of times a moment seems to be giving me just the consistantly 'replace magenta/yellow print head.  The strip of plastic that surrounds the ink nozzles is loose to the point of current on the PH.  My printer is no longer under warranty, but before I spend money on phone support and new print heads, I want to look at other possibilities.  The book says that if the manual cleaning of the printheads does not, HP support should be contacted, suggesting that there could be other possible remedies, before you buy new print heads.   I wouldn't begin to buy new print heads to find that again, they will not work because of some other problem.  I am also concerned by the other warnings of print head, even if they did not intervene now.

Also, opening lid for cleaning of the PH, I noticed a lot of ink accumulate in 4 coarse foam pads, each in its own little tray located inside the printer on the right side.  some of them were overflowing. / I carefully daubbed a part of the ink with q-tips, but I wonder if this condition could be or cause problems.

    Ideas?

Finally got tired of waiting on HP.  Expected response Bob during the 'days of Forum' or whatever they called.  My problems with their goods should not have affected them too!

FYI, I ordered a new printhead magenta/yellow, installed and still had "replace print head faulty warning."  Has released the new printhead, cleaned of some sort of clear, gelatinous * beep * of gold contacts with a q - Tip and reinstalled.  Surprisingly, printer started working.  (Took a lot of time to do her routine 'thump, bump & hum'.)  Don't know how long it will last.

My next printer will be a Canon or an Epson!

  • DeskJet 3070 ceased to print a few days after replacing the black print cartridge

Please help me, I have HP Deskjet 3070. There works well since then, but I replaced just the black cartridge with original ink and he confirmed that it was a real ink, I printed a few documents and everything was fine and it's just less amonth ago.

But unfortunately I turned on the printer a week later, but it prints, it only passes through the paper as if it is printing but instead he brings her on a white sheet.

The task of mentenance using I could see the State of health, says the good. Show full of ink cartridge ink level. Device report - derniŠre indications affixed some pink, blue, yellow rectangles and the printed report print 4 holders.

I noticed someone has posted a simlar here question one obtained help same day via private message that he has fixed his problem, I commented here a week ago and had asked for help, but have had no response to date.

Today, I installed a new black ink, thinking that he could be in ink, but she does not always print anothere.

    Please help me.

New replacement printer arrived today with the new inks, installed game machine with the new inks and everything works as it should. Old machine is to immerse for recycling as advised.

I'm relieved and I appreciate the after sale HP just rendered services. Although I am a little worried and now fear that it could happen again "after the guarantee" since no clear explanation is given in what concerns what could have caused the failure. And judge with an option of replacement is the best solution, it seems like the cost of the den could be greater than the value.

Finger is crossed, I hope that it will serve this time or at least give reseonable service before getting on my nerves.

    Thank you HP.

  • HP officejet pro 6835: hp officejet 6835 printhead error, need a replacement as soon as possible printer

  • OfficeJet Pro 6830: replaced warranty for printer and cartridges of manipulation

My Officejet Pro 6830 AiO printer doesn't have 3 months after purchase (power supply is ok, but it no longer lights). I contacted HP support and a replacement printer is on the way.
Unfortunately I replaced all ink cartridges 'setup' 4 with brand new just a few days before the failure of the printer, so I asked the Lady to support (good person) if and how I can recover the defective device.
She told me to take off the cartridges of the faulty unit and retain them for the replacement printer, but was to serve once the "setup" cartridges sent with the unit will be out of ink.

    Now, I have some doubts:

    (1) when I take my full semi the defective printer cartridges, I fear that the ink will start to dry... should I cover the opening at the bottom of the cartridges with tape? Will it be enough?

    (2) the ink in the printhead of the defective unit will start to get dry as well. The defect of the device is clearly in electronics, while the print head has worked perfectly. Isn't bad to leave the print head is clogged by dry ink? I still have empty cartridges "setup" out (differentiation 'stock' of waste...) should I put them on the print head?

    (3) the defective printer does not turn so to loosen its cartridges, I need to manually pull the cart of the printhead to the center position. Is it Ok?

Thanks to all those who will clear this point to me.

    Hi @RickyGold,

    Welcome to the HP Forums!

I see that you have questions about your printer HP Officejet Pro 6830. I am happy to answer these questions for you!

    To answer your questions:

    1. To properly store the cartridges, I suggest you put them in an airtight container, such as a ziplock bag or Tupperware. Make sure that the contacts on the cartridges are not touch anything.
    2. I wouldn't worry about the obstruction with the defective printer printhead.
    3. I suggest to try to move the cartridge door manually, but don't force it, if it will not move freely. If you are unable to get the cartridges, please contact HPtelephone support for further assistance. As they would be able to replace the cartridges for you. (After you fill out the information, you will receive a phone number.) If you do not live in the United States / Canada region, please click the link below to get help from your region number. When I copy printing is a bit dark, but again on the other half of the text disappears on the horizontal and legible text lines have 2 or 3 white horizontal lines crossing as well as the top of the text disappears

Please read this post then provide some details.  What printer model?  You probably have an electrical problem between the printer and the cartridge.  Try cleaning the contacts as shown in this post.
