Just, I configured the traditional replication between the two bays of series dell equallogic ps 6000xv. I managed to move all the vdi, I wanted to move. First of all, I created collections of volume and settles in the maximum limit of eight lots. I just realized that in the group in the source, I used a lot of space and I miss. If I delete my volume collections it disturbs my volumes being replicated on the partner server? I want to use it with another machine to retrieve the replica volumes. what I have to promote the collections of replica volumes until I try to boot from them?

Collection volume won't effect of space or replication. A collection means you want all these volumes to be replicated or broken at the same time. Usually, because they are inter connected. I.e. volumes of logs and data.
You must promote or clone a replica to access. Although promoted replication does not work. on this volume.

FPGA - try to use the screw of the replication of RIO to replace going to reset the FPGA running
Running LabVIEW 12.1
We have an application that uses an FPGA that was compiled in Run to Reset (works on any reset or power on). Sometimes we need to update the image on the RT and FPGA and I downloaded the NI RIO replication screw.
The problem I have now is that when I got to download the bitfile on the Flash FPGA on the sbRIO9636, I get the following error:
Error-61141
Possible reasons:
LabVIEW FPGA: The operation could not be performed because the FPGA is busy. Stop all activity on the FPGA before asking this operation. If the target is in the Interface of Scan program mode, put in FPGA Interface programming mode.
My updater is stand alone EXE. He isn't able to get a link to the FPGA, because we are not sure what Bitfile currently is on a particular system. I tried using the open FPGA reference and load a VACUUM on the FPGA bitfile by setting the FPGA to RUN when he sound the FPGA VI of the Open reference - and it works for me to erase the bitfile. It does not allow me to immediately after run the bitfile VI of replication of RIO download - even if I close and reset the FPGA before trying to download the Bitfile for the RIO Flash.
I have to first delete the existing bitfile, then load a new?
Well, I found what I consider as a workaround - but maybe it's required to do things - but it doesn't seem like it should be, since the RIO device Setup.exe is able to flash or clear the bitfile regardless of the State of the FPGA.
What I've done is to define the FPGA to "do not load automatically on re" then call the RT Config screw system and order a restart of the system. The RT operating system restarts and then restarts the RIO system and this ensures that the FPGA is not busy. Then I'm able to erase them or write about a new bitfile for the RIO Flash and set the "Automatic loading on any Reset" Rio de JANEIRO and restart the system again.
Our current situation, it will work. Long time restarts do a bit of headache.

Windows Server 2012R2 replication errors
Hi, just work through exams 2012R2 if it is in a lab environment, but would like some help on this one that I had trouble finding a solution on this one.
Just to give you a little history, until recently, I had a single DC 2012R2 environment on my lab. About 6 months ago I had to follow the nets below to retrieve my DC after what can't that assume was an unclean shutdown of my host.

I'm working through scenarios without problem until recently.
I added a 2nd DC to the existing successful domain although while they inspected the State of replication I seem to come through a few questions in relation to the folder sysvol replica don't properly on the additional domain controller.
The folder and subfolders are but empty during the 2nd DC.
I run DCDiag on the original domain controller today, the majority of the tests pass ok (some have failed, but I transfer the roles, closing the vms on and outside, as I used it, but the below was obvious as I promoted the 2nd DC):

If the database is rebuilt successfully, replication will resume once the reconstruction is complete. If the database cannot be rebuilt, a separate event is generated. If you see this error more than twice in seven days, we recommend that you run Chkdsk on the volume that contains the database. Event ID: 2104
2. the service stopped DFS replication on the C: volume replication. This failure can occur because the disk is full, the disc is a failure or a quota limit has been reached. Event ID: 2004
I followed the discussions to try and resolve this problem without a bit of luck, I can also confirm that the disk is not full or failed.
On the 2nd DC health is:
This member is waiting for initial replication for replicated folder SYSVOL share and does not currently participate in replication. This delay can occur because the Member is waiting for the replication service DFS retrieve the settings from Active Directory Domain Services replication. After the Member detects that it is part of the replication group, the Member will start the initial replication.

Migration of domain Contoller with storage replication
Hi all
We are migrating the domain controller. As part of the migration, we will make Source domain controller storage level replication to destination DC; then add these LUNs /datstores to the new VCENTER and register the virtual machine (domain controller) and turn on.
Host name of the server and the IP address will remain the same. However, the MACid and UUID of the virtual machine will change. As the virtual machine is domain controller must we does support this kind of migration?

Hi all
We currently have a server win 2012 R2 hosted and we put in place the replication to another server of 2012 R2 and it works fine, but we need to replace this server as soon as it is not powerful enough.
We thought to be replaced by a high-end workstation as it is only used for the replication and recovery after disaster and we could use for an office for our short term Server engineer.
I know that replication does not between 2012 and 2012 R2, but it is possible to replicate from 2012 R2 to win 10? or will it be possible to save 2016 to win 10? or along those lines?
I was wondering if someone could help or even point me in the direction of V requirements hyper replication which actually indicate this.Thank you

Upgrade of Windows 2003 to 2012 r2 DC replication problem

I added R2 2012 Windows server to windows 2003 sp2 (primary DC) DC and promotes as DC. After the promotion, I run dcdiag and it shows errors.
Each of the servers have three NICs connected to different networks.

I have two machines of 2012 sql dev not in areas.
I'm trying to configure replication between the two men.I created the database of distribution on sql1.The publication database is on sql1.The snapshot directory is a share on sql1.The subscriber base is on the sql2 with the same name.I created the sql ID the same on both machines.The machines see mind no problem.After the creation of the publication for only 4 tables, I try to subscribe and I get this error:Insert failed because the following SET options have incorrect settings: 'ANSIPADDING '... How and what are the permissions to give access to the DFS replication
Hello
I have a small question. I want to give a user access to DFS replication server. Problem is what kind of access and how to give because it is contrary to a folder or file in which case I can just right click and give permission. I added the user as a local administrator on the server but still has no authorization to do so. I'm not able to give him Admin area due to controlled rights.
Any help will be much appreciated.

How can I offer snapshot of the replication of merger on DVD or memory stick?
I'll explain my setup in short.
I have 2 k 8 R2 enterprise edition Editor. & Subscriber with the express edition.
in the express edition agent is not present then how can I generate a snapshot & how I update on serverside (i.e. Publisher) because I pull subscription request synchronization setup & update data using utility 'replmerg.exe '.
so my question is if data are updated aside subscribed & there is a problem of poor connectivity. so, how is it possible to deliver the snapshot replication on stick?
Please help me...
