Reposting of good monitor

I was wondering if someone could help me. I've been conecting my pc to my tv via a cable Webs. My settings have been changed and I don't know how. When I conect the two my screen that should appear on my pc is on TV and who should be on the TV screen on my pc screen. How can I get that back? Thank you

Hello

·        Remember to make changes to the system?

If the PC settings are changed then automatically the way the display appears on the TV should also be changed. I suggest you change the resolution of the screen of the monitor (PC) and see if the problem is resolved. Follow the steps mentioned in the article below.

Change your screen resolution

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/change-your-screen-resolution

Apart from that, I would say to check the display settings on the monitor. See the article mentioned below.

Get the best display on your monitor

http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/getting-the-best-display-on-your-monitor

Now, check if the problem is resolved.

Thanks and regards.

Recently, I started thinking of owning a good monitor k 4 for my MBP and I were just interested, if you have cable thunderbolt 2, are you able to use it to the monitors that accept mini Displayport? The port looks like it will work and will work. Thank you.

  • Can I set up a secondary monitor to the HD on my iMac mid 2011

Can I set up a secondary monitor to the HD on my iMac mid-2011 with no problems. I cannot afford to upgrade to the new iMac 27-inch and wanted to update my monitor.

Is this possible on the Mid 2011 iMac?

    Yes.

Your best option is to choose a good monitor that has Display Port or DVI input and shy away from those who only have HDMI and VGA input.

For a display Port monitor you will need a Mini Display Port to Display Port cable if it is not provided with the monitor.

For a DVI monitor you will need to a Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter and a DVI cable.

I bought recently (yesterday) a Toshiba Satellite A500.

I am using an external monitor AND the laptop screen. At this point, the two screens are working well but have the same images/windows.

I want to do is have each screen show another window/program running and being able to drag and drop etc seamlessly between screens.

What you need is the parameters of good monitors. So what you have now is the clone mode and you need to enlarge the bureau. I put t know precise adjustments on this model of laptop, but enter the screen resolution settings and check if there is possibility to enlarge the bureau. If not, t go into the advanced settings and check if you can find it here.

I Don t monitor external and impossible to check it for you, but I m you will find.

  • Make a translation specific LR of monitor in the laboratory?

I am new to Lightroom and did not dare in PS again. I just upgraded from a Mac Book Pro, iMac. I have a calibrator screen Spyder Pro5 and I used it to calibrate my monitor. Thinking that I was ready, repaired a few photos of the beautiful landscape (shot on Nikon D810 in RAW) and exported and then uploaded to the Photo of the Bay. Impressions approached back on color by far on the density. After a few emails back and comes with the support of the Photo of the Bay, I had the note below. Clearly, I don't want to give up my iMac nine, so there the advice of others to help me?

    Bay Photo e-mail:

We do not recommend using Apple-brand monitors for calibration printing. They are designed to make the images on-screen pleasant to the eye: contrast, saturation high and bright. The result is the user in compensation because of these attributes - the images on the screen will appear always brighter and more vibrant color correction-no prints will be.

    Here are some recommended monitors:

    Recommendations:

EIZO ColorEdge series, starting at ~ $1000
    NEC - P, PA - or SpectraView series, starting at ~ $600
Series ASUS PA, from ~ $400
Dell UltraSharp PremierColor series, starting at ~ $500

In general, a good monitor, designed for a rendering of the colors accurate, must have the following characteristics:

    Resolution: 1920 x 1080px or better (16:9 or 16:10 aspect ratio)
Contrast ratio: 1000: 1 or better
Color support: 1.07 billion colors or more
Viewing angle: 178 ° or better

The little Apple monitors is pure BS! Your problem is your laboratory whose color is not very successful (bet that they require to send you documents to sRGB; awful).

You want to match a print view, here is a video to walk if she. Yes, Eizo and SpectraView are a reference display system much better that what Apple offers, but you must all properly calibrate them for a match. CD-HD-SD-monitor.

    ISP:

In general our instructors will offer the best combination of performance, features and price compared any competitor. However, in direct comparison with the units you list there are some very clear benefits for the LM-2461W.

1 BTLH-2550. This device is not 10 bit.its year10 bit treatment (just the fact that they can accept a 10-bit signal), but the Panel is 8 bits with a color depth of 16.7 million colors, not 10 bits in 1.073 billion colors. It is also fairly old Panel technology that has other drawbacks as shifts more colors off-axis than most modern monitors.

2 DT-V24G11Z. Like the Panasonic is not a 10-bit screen. Yet once, 10bits treatment does not mean that there is a 10-bit Panel.

3 Wöhler. Once again, an 8-bit, 10-bit monitor not just like the previous two.

4 XVM-175W. It is a good 10-bit monitor, but it's very expensive for a 17 "monitor. If you want a unit 10 bit 17 ' then our CM-170W might be a good review. However, the XVM-175W and LM-2461W are the same price in order to get a unit of 24 "for the same price as a unit 17". For use in a studio 17 "is going to be very small, so the 24" clearly has the advantage here. The XVM-245W is more similar to our LM-2461W (same size, performance, etc.), but it will cost more than twice as much as our monitor (vs $ $12,000 5 000)

    ME:

    OK, what about the IKEGAMI:

    http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/739821-reg/Ikegami_HLM_2450WB_HLM_2450WB_Multi_Forma t_LCD_Monitor.html

    ISP:

We have won several shootings against this exact unit. Most customers agree that the LM-2461W has better display performance and there certainly many more features including things like 12 extended mode, measure of level of pixel and much more. Also, don't forget that the Ikegami does NOT come with the 3 Gbps SDI standard. It only comes with the HD - SDI. If you want to support the formats more advanced as 4:4:4 signals, 1080 p 50/60, etc, which is not possible on the Ikegami unless you buy 3G optional entry (costs about $1,200), which will make the unit around the same price as the LM-2461W.

I also know that visitors have never really received an answer as to if the device has a panel of 8 or 10 bits. If you look at their own record, it seems, the Panel is actually of 8-bit, 10-bit (http://www.ikegami.com/br/products/hdtv/pdf/hlm2450w.pdf). Unity also clearly lack of advanced support all formats such as LM-2461W (e.g., it does not support XYZ, 12 bit, DCI P3, etc..)

For basically the same price so equipped in the same way the LM-2461W offers the best performance, more features and a wide range of signal support. You can also get quick answers to technical applications.

    The end

  • Monitor Samsung S24A850DW?

    Hi guys

I am a photographer of event/concert currently using a pretty decent consumer quality monitor and want to move on to something more professional.

99% of my production is for the screen, personal sites, social networks - you know the one! Laughing out loud! -etc., and 75% of my production is probably B & W.

I use Photoshop CS5, and my OS is Win7 Pro 64 Bit.

I've been watching the Samsung S24A850DW and I was wondering if anyone here has had an experience with a, or based on its features and specifications would you it seems a good 'Photoshop monitor.

    Thanks in advance

    Paul

    would you consider a good «monitor Photoshop.»

Yes, absolutely. It's the new Samsung PLS technology, which is similar to the IPS with wide angle without change of color or gamma.

The usual restrictions apply: look very carefully for uneven color or brightness on the screen. It is much more common that you wouldn't believe, even in the so-called models upscale. If possible, test this particular unit before bring you it home. If this is not possible, check the return policy.

It is a range standard screen, but I worry too much on this subject. Wide range is nice (I have one at work), but this is no critical case. Other things are more important. Overall, it looks like for example U2412 from Dell, HP ZR24w, or the one I have at home, Eizo EV2335. Here are all of the IP addresses.

I'd be interested to hear your experiences, if you buy it.

I do not have a habit to resurrect the old threads, but I just bought a new screen, and after a LOT of research has decided on the HP ZR2440w. What I read on the Samsung was not exactly comforting; problems with the depth of black, contrast and light bleed back to the top. It's a shame because I always liked Samsung but they probably need to let the PLS technology mature a bit to overcome some of these issues.

I've literally set up the ZR2440w earlier tonight and first impressions are VERY good, since I'm coming from a reasonable consumer quality screen. The box colors was beautiful, but it was bright retina-searlingly! Laughing out loud! I just completed the calibration of the screen with a Spyder 4 Pro and things are MUCH better, and, of course, all the extra real estate is welcome!

Thanks for everyone's entered above, it is very appreciated!

  • Calibration of the monitor... L * settings?

I usaully calibrate my monitor to a gamma of 2.2, but it has been suggedted she can?  better to use the gamma L *.

Can someone give me some info if this is true?, or,

Give me a link explaining the optimum settings in gamma of the monitor calibration settings?

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Thank you

    Mike

There is no optimal target. Only L * if you have a really good monitor that can be calibrated to a deltaE in point 1 and you know very well what you are doing. Very few applications (only the properly color managed ones) will show you a correct color if you go. Otherwise, you should choose 2.2 and 6500 K for almost all cases. If you do a lot of internal printing and have a view calibrated printing environment, it sometimes makes sense to go for calibration of color temperature 5800 k. For some screens, it is better to use the native color temperature and the native gamma for calibration, but most of the screens do not need that.

Essentially if you have to ask, you probably won't do.

  • monitor calibration system

Can anyone recommend a good monitor calibration system (budget $300 limit)? I'll work on a book intended for offset printing press 4 colours, and the color is a major factor in the book. I'll never be, so I think it's time to take seriously the monitor calibration. I'm working on a new iMac, so I think that a good calibration system would be useful.

    Any thoughts? (Dumb question)

Check your HARD disk with a GOOD monitoring tool. Many are available on the internet. Google for SMART HDD.
There are a few indicators for a dead hard drive. It is raw read errors. If the tool shows that a lot of first read errors need you to replace.

After you have installed the most recent driver (ver. 340.52) for my graphics (Nvidia GeForce GT 625) thanks to the HP Support Assistant, my screen has been changed. Everything has a blue/grey tint - it's like the red and green color no longer exist!

Cables and the monitor are fine; I tried a system restore; I rolled the driver back to the version 337.88 - all with no change.

    I'm running Windows 7 on a HP Pavilion 500 - 205t, Intel Core i5-4570, 64-bit processor.

    Suggestions? Thank you!!

    Hello

Avoid using adapters as they can and do fail.

Install the driver NVIDIA of originwhich has been published for your PC.

If the above doesn't work then try the suggestions below:

Try the monitor and cable on another PC to remove these components as possible problems. If not, try a known good monitor and well-known cable.

Remove the video card and try onboard video, coming from the motherboard.

  • My hp pavilion elite hpe-204f video does not work

My hp pavilion elite hpe-204f video does not work so I replaced it with another video card that worked. After installing the card and start the system I saw the video on my monitor. Great! I need to replace my video card. No problem.

Afer by purchasing and installing a new video card, I have no video. I put a new one in another computer. This works. I put the video card which worked yesterday... that did not work.

Then, I put the original video card that I thought that did not work on another computer and Yes... it worked.

Should I assume that I have a bad graphical location on the motherboard? If so, short of buying the same motherboard is there anything else I can do?

Thank you very much for the research.

    Hello

The integrated video processor still works when the video card is removed?  If Yes, then try this memory bootable Diagnostics CD. Download memtest86 iso file and burn the disk using Imgburn.

If the above is successful, then re - install the map graphic and clear the CMOS.

    Another thing to try:

    A good cable video know.

    A known good monitor.

  • Richard & update questions about the Pavilion M8407

I just put in an order for a Pavilion M8407C PC.  I ordered the PC because it is a quad-core, running a 64 bit OS and the price was so right.  I am interested in building a box fairly high-end at about 6 to 9 months, but need something now because my box 5 years just has no power for my applications anymore.

I'll use it for modeling 3D and 3D engineering applications in the short term, and it will become a long term rendering area.

    Issues related to the:

    (1) the PC has 4 GB or RAM of 1 Gb Simms.  I'll upgrade to 8 GB, he would like to know if it is able to use 16Gb.  The OS is Vista Home Premium - is limited to 8 GB or 16 GB?  Is the limit of the 'House' or 'premium '?

    (2) the PC contains 2 360 GB drives.  Are they "RAID" ed or only 2 separate units (master & slave)?  All programs would be installed on a disk or both?  The second disk can be replaced with a larger without any OS or system of the impact?

    (3) how can be upgraded on the PC?  The operating system at any time will stop working because too many things have changed from the original HP Setup?

Thanks for the review - I'm pretty comfortable with a screwdriver and have been building my own boxes, I'm not too familiar with the way in which 'Tier 1' PCs are set up.

    See you soon...

Message edited by Matthew on 03/12/2008 19:49

For someone who cares, I have rebuilt the box and here are the answers to my previous questions...

    (1) limit of motherboard memory is 8 GB.

    (2) the 2 360 GB disks are not attacked.  disk 1 is the 'OS' and 'HP install' backup and the second disc is empty.  This is ideal, because all OS and programs can be installed on the operating system drive, and the second player can be offered for data.  Easy for backups.

    (3) I have considerably improved the system.  You cannot change the motherboard, that would invalidate the Windows operating system installation.  MS wrote on OEM computers, changing motherboards is paramount to junking the old computer and requires a new purchase of OS.  I think they make exceptions for warranty cards mothers replacement - better double-check.

    I've updated...

    (A) memory.  Replaced the 4 GB (1 GB simms) with 8 GB (2 GB simms).  Simms spare parts become old.

    (B) added a 1 TB drive.  The chassis has room for 2 hard drives.  I added the third disc to his empty home of 5.25 "under the DVD drive.  I had to use a kit of adaptation and screws washers to fix the kit on the sides split to create a good grip.

    (C) replace the video card.  The NVidia 8500GT has of one taken DVI and HDMI output.  I couldn't get a good Monitor 2 out of it, because my monitors have entered VGA only.  In addition, I wanted a 1 GB of memory on the card as the programs I run use large textures so need more video of 512 MB of ram.  Replaced the with a NVidia GTS250 1 GB 8500GT.

    (D) the updates above, especialy video card, required a higher power supply.  I replaced the original 300W with a 650W unit.

    (E) the M8407C system comes with a slot to accept a "HP Personal Media Drive" unit.  Recently, I received an email from Best Buy, which featured a HP Personal Media Drive unites 750 GB on sale for CAD$ 110.  Sold. Removable data backup unit.

To summarize, for a total investment of just under $ 1100, I created a Quad Core, 8 GB ram, disk hard system of 2.4 to pushing the 2 monitors.  The goal was to build a system capable of modeling 3D and animation for cheaper than buying the parts off the shelf.  I saved CAD $700 and have spare parts to help build a render region.
