resolution of the screen corresponding to the requirements of the webcam

I use an operating system PC touchscreen HP - model IQS510uk - 64 bit

When I use Skype I repeatedly receive a message saying that the screen resolution is not high enough for my webcam

My screen resolution is 1680 by 1050 of the 32 bit more colors

Is the screen resolution something different

People with whom I talk on Skype say that my picture is fine.

I reaally have a problem and if so how to deal with it?

No, the resolution of the screen is your 1680 x 1050, that should certainly be excellent and high enough for Skype. Make sure that you have the latest Skype installed and if that doesn't help, here is a link to the support of Skype (it looks like there is not nothing wrong with your computer):

  • Resolution of the webcam problems

    Hi all

I finally decided me coming here on a resolution of the webcam problem: since Skype updates that followed the 6.2 version, I can't simply a resolution on my bodily proportions. In other words, I think that Skype automatically assigns to a resolution of 1280 x 720, which makes my head like a balloon look hot air (not really convenient for job interviews, I must say). And Skype seem not to care about changes in resolution, as I do in the file "config.xml". Any idea to solve this problem? I really want to be myself again.

Thank you very much in advance!

  • Satellite C660D - 10 d - low resolution of the webcam

My computer is a Toshiba Satellite C660D - 10 d with Windows 7. I bought it 6 months ago and at first my webcam worked fine, with a resolution of 640. Now, the webcam image is very blurry, the resolution is only 320 * 240 and I can't change it, because it's the only option. I reinstalled the driver, but the problem is always the same.

What can I do about it?

    Hello

The laptop supports a 0.3 M pixel webcam and image formats supported are:
    160 X 120, 176 X 144, 320 X 240 (QQVGA), 352 X 288, 640 X 480 (VGA)
    You can also save the movie in 320 x 240 and 640 x 480.
So as you can see the hardware supports higher resolution.

I have no idea why the other values are locked maybe something wrong in the registry or similar

I have even if the new installation of the webcam software could fix this, maybe you should uninstall the webcam software first and then recommended to clean the registry with CCleaner and then might install the software once more if in the worst case you will need to reinstall the operating system

  • Resolution of the webcam on Tecra S11

Hi, I have a problem with my brand new Tecra S11 - 12R and hope someone here can help you!
My webcam only works in resolution 1280 * 720 and higher, but all not more low resolutin :-( For example, I can't use Skype for the Visio.
I installed TOSHIBA Web Camera Application V1.1.2.6
    Thanks for the tips.

I think you're the first person who cannot use cam for Skype Conference.
As far as I know in the Skype video settings there is no option for resolution changes if this is not important.

OK you have installed the new software of the camera and it's good for its use, if you want to make some photographs of you or short record but you n t need for use with different messengers. If you can get out Camera Assistant software and then open Skype and check the video settings it.

Cam is recognized correctly? You see the photo in the box on the right side of the settings window?

  • Pavilion 14 E019TX: Know the resolution of the WebCam

My PC has a WebCam Built In [True Vision Webcam HP HD]
How many MP (megapixels) is my Webcam?

    Thank you

    Hello

The following link shows its specifications:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c03774641

which shows '(face) Webcam built-in HP TrueVision HD with digital microphone (720 p, development, low fixed slight improvement)'.

720 p for the height (h), with 16:9 ratio now you can work on the width (w) and the pixels total = w * h.

    or 720 x 1280 = 0.9 million pixels.

    Kind regards.

  • T272HUL webcam resolution of the camera (and microphone question)

What resolution is the webcam in the monitor (I hope that it will be at least 720 p HD)?  Is it Skype and WebEx supported?

In addition, the T272HUL has a built in microphone?  If Yes, accessible via HDMI or USB?

    Thank you.

The information I have is the following:

    T272HUL

    camera (2 M resolution 1920 x 1080, with microphone)

I suppose that the webcam would be accessible by Skype and WebEx, but could not confirm or guarantee the compatibility of specific applications.

The webcam is on the USB hub, so is accessible via USB, as would the touch screen.

  • Cannot change the resolution on the coming Pro 11 webcam settings?

Is it possible to change the resolution settings of the built-in Tablet coming 11 Pro webcam? We need to reduce the size of photos that are taken, and there is no way that I can find in the system to do this. We have several tablets of 10 of Latitude, and they allow to change the resolution of the webcam. I called Dell technical support, but the technician could not find a way to change these settings or the other. He tried to install the Dell Webcam utility but he ended up turning off the camera and I had to do a system restore. Any opinion on this is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Dell provides no information for installed webcams which makes it impossible to find or see if the real drivers are provided the manufacturing (they could even provide some sort of camera app to set up and take photos). Who knows?
Device Manager displays only the information of default built-in webcam and drivers Microsoft.
The default camera app Windows 8 is archi-nu and does not provide parameters improved.

You might want to try Cyberlink YouCam Mobile. Never tried but I checked in there just now and saw that the resolution was one of the parameters. Not sure if it is already in the free version or not.
Other applications of the free camera maybe the settings as well.
Just check out some and you'll see.

In addition, the microphone is located on near the microphone because it s part of the webcam.

  • Unable to set the resolution of the screen for an external monitor

I'm trying to set up an external monitor to Asus to mirror my iMac 27 "new using a HDMI > Lightening connection, but using the monitor preferences, requires both screens at the same resolution. The Asus monitor is smaller, I'm looking for mirror to a proper resolution to the screen (that I can actually read!). From what I gleaned on the web until now, so it should be easy - and now I think it has to do with the HDMI connection on the monitor. Any advice would be much appreciated!

You will need to disable mirroring.

  • Having problems with the resolution of the screen from the 1st upgrade.

Hello, I have a tower running Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 and upgraded to Service Pack 2 of Windows Vista Business, and he had problems while improving the pc. I lived the degrading resolution and become more pixel and color has begun to degrade. It didn't happen until I updated. and now the upgrade was a success and the resolution of the screen was horrible. Color is distorted, and some icons are not yet. The resolution is 640 x 480 pixels and the color was at its lowest level. I changed the higher color bit and the graphic resolution is improved, but the size of the screen was always the same. I tried to put my monitors resolution which is 1280 x 720 pixels, but when I put it on this resolution, the quality and graphics began to become distorted and never changed size. then, once I applied it, it go back to the lower resolution and color. And I updated my computer during upgrade. Is there anyway that I can fix this?

  • Windows 7 changes the resolution of the screen at the start of what I had saved

I recently bought a new monitor, which is a 22 AOC. I installed the drivers so that the computer detects hardware. Then I go to the screen resolution set at 1920 x 1080, that says that Windows is recommended. I then choose to preserve settings, then press OK.

When I then restart the computer, the resolution changes right after the login screen to the old 1 of 1440 x 900 (which is the resolution of the screen of the old monitor).

I tried researching this problem, but nobody seems to have exactly the same problem as me. Help! :)

This problem also occurs when the monitor is turned off and turned back on again (I have my pc set to automatically turn off the monitor after 20 minutes).

I had this problem since upgrading to windows 7 and it is very frustrating when you have to re - align icons and others whenever you turn on the monitor / PC back on.
Fortunately, I found the solution after a few dedicated google searches, but this method requires you to modify your registry so please be very careful.
    Step #1:
Open your Start menu and in the search bar type in regedit and press to enter. UAC will pop up asking if you want to allow this program to make changes to the computer, simply press Yes.
    Step #2:
    In the left pane of regedit , you will see a list of registry keys;
-Click on the small white arrow next to expand this key HKEY_CURRENT_CONFIG .
-Develop System > CurrentControlSet > control > VIDEO

    Step #3:
Now you should see one or more keys with random numbers and letters, for example my video key is {F92BFB9B-59E9-4B65-8AA3-D004C26BA193}.
If you develop these keys, you will see another key in each of these named 0000

Just click on these keys to 0000 to see their values, you are looking for one that has multiple values, for example Attach.RelativeX, Attach.RelativeY, etc.
The appropriate key 0000 should also have a child key (which is the registry of your monitor settings, yay!) and mine is named Mon12345678 but yours may be different.

    Step #4:
Now for the changes of the registry, 0000 and the keys Mon12345678 with the same parameters and values, I changed the two of them are identical. I'm not entirely sure of what a windows 7 uses, but it does not hurt to change both just to be sure.
    In order to change a registry key values;
-Right click on the value name and select Edit...
    - where it says Base of select the decimal option
-Enter the new numeric value, you want to enter in the data value: text field
    The parameters to change are;
    Attach.RelativeX - it's your screen X resolution, mine is set to 1360
Attach.RelativeY - it's your screen resolution is, mine is set to 768
DefaultSettings.XResolution -it's your screen resolution by default of X, mine is set to 1360
DefaultSettings.YResolution -it's your default screen resolution, mine is set to 768
    Step #5:
You're done! Click on file > output and your registry settings will be saved automatically.
    * Restart the system notes * A may be required before these settings take effect.

Hope this helps everyone who has faced this problem!

  • Some ALT keyboard shortcuts do not work in the resolution of the screen Panel

    PROBLEM:

It seems that the resolution of the screen control panel dialog box some accessed via the ALT keyboard shortcuts do not seem to.

The Alt-combinations that do not seem to work are listed:

    Alt + s   (' Display: "menu drop-down)

    Alt + O   ("' Orientation:" menu drop-down ")

    ALT + M   ("" Several screens: "menu drop-down")

Is it possible to access them using some/different specified keyboard shortcuts or is it a case that they have not been implemented?

The following Reproduction method was tested using two and three monitors attached with a multi-display compatible video card (see further below for a test instance), although the problem can still occur with a single, or more than three monitors.

    MODE OF REPRODUCTION:

    (1) open the control panel.

    (2) select 'View' then 'Adjust the resolution' (or simply select "Adjust screen resolution" If a category view).

    (3) once the screen resolution dialog, hold down the ALT (left) (notice the different points on the page which reveal a letter underlined in their chain to suggest this is accessible by pressing the corresponding key on the keyboard).

"(4) with [ALT] key again press the [R] key on the keyboard and notice how this will display the corresponding resolution:" drop-down list (it's very well and as expected).

    (5) now release both keys and press the [ESC] key to clear the menu drop down.

    (6) and repeat steps 3-4 but this time using the key [O] instead of [R] (in theory, this should appear the "Orientation:" menu drop-down).

    (7) notice how nothing is happening, i.e. the "Orientation:" drop-down menu does not open upward.

    (8) repeat step 5.

    (9) now to repeat the following steps 6 through 8 for each of the keys: [D] ("' Display:" "), [M] (" "several screens:" ").

    (10) even after noticing how these keyboard shortcuts do not seem to work as suggested points out when you press [ALT].

  • How to change the resolution of the screen in Firefox for Android?

    Hello
    I have a Galaxy Note 3, which is display resolution is 1920 x 1080.
If I go to http://www.whatismyscreenresolution.com with Firefox, I see that it shows my screen resolution 640 x 360 (even with the "ask Site Desktop" checked and tiny text size ' ").
I tried with other browsers, and some of them were able to display 1920 x 1080.

    The question is:
How can I use Firefox for Android in screen resolution of my screen (which is 1920 x 1080) MAXIMUM?

Could you try to open this page: http://dev.jeffersonscher.com/resolution.html

The script should show the screen resolution 'effective' as well as the device pixels, which gives the real screen resolution. (The page is not recalculate when you rotate between portrait and model guidelines, so you'll need to manually reload after having done this.)

Note: There may be rounding errors for more extreme values.

Assuming that the device pixels is closer to 3 to 1, you can try to change a hidden parameter to see if it improves things.

Open a new tab and type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press the Enter key on the keyboard. You can bookmark this page for future alterations.

In the search box, type css, and then press the keyboard entry.

When you find layout.css.devPixelsPerPx press the button Edit and change the value 1.0 (in general, you simply remove the sign-). Press the OK button.

Return to the first tab and reload.

Did that change how make real sites do you use?
