  I had a search but I couldn't find all the topics that have the same problem as mine, I maybe could have missed one:------.

  My laptop froze this morning so I had to reset by holding the power button down, then when I went to turn it back on, it goes to the screen of the safe option mode where it gives me the following options:

  safe mode
  safe mode with networking
  safe mode with command prompt

  last known good configuration

  Start windows normally

  I tried all of the above options and whenever one of them is selected, it starts to load Windows with blue small bar that hangs, restarts and repeated everywhere: S

  I hope that someone can help me, my life is on this laptop and I would be devastated if I lost it all lol

  If you have important data, you can extract it using Windows live cd. Get it and boot from it and move important data on USB.

• El Capitan memory use increases AFTER safe mode

  Can't quite understand it.

  In OS X 10.11.1: After starting in safe mode, then restart after that, App memory continuously increases.

  Before the safe mode:

  The App memory: 521,2 MB

  Wired memory: 470,3 MB

  Then,

  Start in safe mode, all reboots of performance:

  Memory of the App: 2.67 GB

  Wired memory: 525,1 MB

  In addition, in the observer activity, looks like all processes jumped upwards of 10 MBs, which could explain memory App to go up, but I still cannot understand why.

  Incase anyone is wondering, I was able to restore 10.11.1 boot minimum memory usage by using:

  sudo update_dyld_shared_cache-force

  I'm not an expert here, and I DON'T recommend do you it yourself.  If you have a machine with more RAM you need, this could actually help not at all, especially if your boot drive is NOT on an SSD.

  Means the most sure to solve the problem, if you still think it is a problem, is to reinstall from recovery of the Internet.

  Sounds like remnants of malware. Go to start/run type msconfig. Look under the Startup tab to find this entry uncheck the box

• Vista fails to boot normal will start in safe mode

  Vista Ultimate x 64.  Intel core I7.  When I boot in safe mode (minimum), the computer will start up nicely, when I boot 'Normal' it does not completely load.  Freezes in the status bar.  Using MSConfig to disable everything starts all services it let me and it still freezes during normal startup.

  Automatic recovery of start-up believes that everything is ok.

  Safe mode with network freezes as well.

  Tip clean boot

  It is a boot cleaner than the MSConfig clean boot.

  In safe mode, only the basic drivers and features are loaded so surfing the Internet does not work in SafeMode instead you can try in safe mode with networking that allows you to boot into safe mode and offers also the possibility to browse the Internet.

  To start in safe mode with network follow the same procedure that you follow to start in safe mode (button press F8 to start the system and boot advanced option to the list of Advanced Options Select Mode safe mode with networking.)

  I have a Dell XPS 15. I have some like Skype, Sopcast and some other internet-based programs that crash when they start and connect to the internet. Internet browsers will work perfectly. Please help me.

  I tried the following things:

  (1) Booted into "Safe Mode with network" and programs work very well.

  (2) Ran malwarebytes in Normal mode. Does not start. Ran malwarebytes in SafeMode - launched and detected a malware that I have quaratined. Reboot in normal mode, but fixed no problem.

  I hope to find a solution where I would not require reinstalling the operating system.

• Continual restarting of Smartphones blackBerry, no safe mode?

  A dodgy 3rd party app is messing up my turn at the start, the cause to restart continuously.  I want to remove the application but the BB never boots and as such BB Desktop can never connect either.  I found references to a 'safe mode' BB which get you by pressing the ESC key at startup, but it doesn't seem to work on the tower.  (My experience and that of others)

  How I or uninstall this application just to wipe the whole device?

  Went to the Verizon store on this subject.  They did not have the good solution (for example, a way to get into safe mode), but did point me in the right direction.  It turns you pouvez remedy this with BB Desktop, but you must use the version of Windows.  I had been using the Mac version.

  How to:

  Even if the phone is given continuously to zero, there is a phase when it is started enough for BB to talk about him, but before the reboot, when you can get stuff done.  So just plug in once through the process of using Application Loader for the failing application.  It's work, but have patience because it's a slow process to cause all reboot.

  My husband's laptop computer does not in law, its starts to load in and windows then comes with windows has a problem and closes, then it will try to restart. I put in safe mode and check the problem and solution page and it comes up with Intel IMSM driver does not work correctly and tells me to go to the site of ASUSTek computer to download the latest version, I've tried and tried but makes no different.
