  Maybe it's in the wrong section, but I really tried to find a more appropriate place, without success!

  still, I have a website running, years ago with iweb 3.0.4.

  It seems good and to be honest, I'm really sad that apple chose not to lose this program simple, elegant, (free)!

  However, the site I made is quite heavy (by my standards) about 60 pages, and am now in a position where I really want to reorganize, to use new, but very similar...

  1 I need to move the site to a new computer. Maybe a mac, maybe a pc, but either way I need to find the Domain.sites file, but it is invisible (I'm os10.11.6). I've seen the stuff to put "chflags nohidden ~/Library" in the terminal, but nothing I never in the terminal seems to work... (not that I'm often trying). I am a mac user. Terminal is foreign to me. and I typed in it, but still can't find Domain.sites...

  2 obviously iWeb is long gone. Is there a current mac program that will open my old site for editing? If this isn't a pc program?

  3. and if all else fails, please can someone recommend something as simple and elegant as iWeb I can copy and paste the 60 pages of hard-working content, so that I don't have to reformat and rebuild links... !! ??

  My wife had a Zire 21. All of its data on computer name

  I got a Z22 and its data has been backed up also on computer under my name.

  I bought a new computer Z22 which i synced with my data on computer.

  Now, I want to give my wife my old Z22 and synchronize it with the date.

  It does not, it always synchronize with my data and refuses to synchronize with its data.

  I changed the name of the owner in Z22 and provided support and it still does not synchronize with its data?

  I have long tried to solve the problem without success

  I performed a hotsync operation and by the PALM Z22, it was full and no error messages have been identified; However, my PALM Desktop on Mac is empty while the transfer moved not. Please note that all the data are on the PALM and not on the Mac desktop. Help, please.

  Hello mactrom and welcome to the forums of Palm.

  You need to reset hard the Z22.  When you go to HotSync the Z22, select the old Z22 HotSync ID when prompted.

  Just the new Z22 of HotSync on your computer that you have previously HotSync'ed the old Z22 to.  Doing so will restore the data from the point of the last HotSync successful with the old Z22.

  I decided to revive my old laptop Toshiba SP 4280 but failed to get the system because he wants me a passowrd initially.

• Logical drive missing after reinstalling XP.

  I have a 500 GB drive tha was divided into E: @ 128GB and F: for the rest.  E: held the OS (Win XP) and F: above all my music and photos.  After a fight with a virus of CPU, I decided to start with the OS and stupidly backup is not the F: drive.

  Since you've already done a format reinstall, you should probably look into the software of data recovery of non-epreuve from the internet that can see beyond 128 GB or take the machine to a data recovery center.

  Have revived an old PC that has one or more there has been subscribed HARD drive, put another disc in recently formatted and reinstalled Vista Home Basic, but probably not with the same disc that came with this particular machine (I have 6 home desktops and laptops), but certainly the number plate which is fixed on the side of this particular case (office emachine computer) is legitimate and came with this machine brand.

  Possible that the conflict is with the wireless utilities installed on the computer and the utility that supports the Network Magic software. But I know, you should be able to add a device, no matter what the utility is used.  Especially for laptops dell, they have on them dell wlan card utility. For laptops windows, they also have a wireless utility windows-based network called wireless zero configuration. Usually for computers dell laptops, the dell wireless utility is the default utility is enabled. I suggest to disable the dell wireless utility. To do: right-click on the icon at the bottom right of the screen dell, click dell utility open, uncheck the let this tool manage your wireless settings, then click on apply and then OK. Once the utility has been disabled, try to connect to your network using the windows wireless (this link will guide you). Once connected to your network by using the windows utility, try adding the computer then the Network Magic software.

  Hi, recently I was assigned to revive some old hp compaq d330 DT by a client, most of them still works very well surprisingly, but some need to have to replace the motherboard battery and that ' s when I have my problems, the clock had to be changed, and I can't do without this password, no one knows the old password so I thought I would like to reset the cmos, and it turns out that it is a default password set too.

  I've been trawling the net for an hour and I have not found anyone who seems to know the default password, tried to enter blanks, I want to say just press ENTER when asked for pass didn't work either. is there a way to reset the password for the configuration totally?

  There is a rider of green password on the motherboard.

  On the d530, it is located near the battery.

  Turn off and unplug the PC.

  Find the Green Knight of password and remove pins on the motherboard.

  Plug and restart the PC.

  All passwords must be provisioned.

  Turn off and unplug the PC.

  Replace the jumper and reassemble PC.

  Good to go.

• Explorer slow

  I posted a question about this before and have since made a few things. First of all my new desktop is HP envy 700-216. It came with Windows 8.1. Right out of the box of Windows Explorer has been slow and sticky.  Computer being less than months I got to store and had them reset it back to factory settings, install malicious programs, and make updates. While there the Explorer has been pretty quick (tested on the FB site and a few others). They told me if it wasn't like that at home, this is probably my internet connection and I have since revived the old modem and replaced by new ones. No difference in the Solution Explorer.

  When this all started I downloaded Firefox and which works very well. That's what we use.

  My thoughts are if Windows Explorer is junk, then why have there? I think I paid for it and it should work out of the box. Given that many of us use this desktop computer I want each of us to use different browsers and helps with passwords etc. I should be able to get the Explorer to work. You do not?

  The problem is HP SimplePass, specifically, the OPBHOBrokerDsktop.exe and the HPSimplepassBHOBroker. Kill both of these processes has solved the problem. They run by default on the new machines.

  I uninstalled HP SimplePass and all is good.

  A search on the web of SimplePass Windows 8 revealed hundreds of opportunities where people have difficulties with it on Win8.1.  Is working or not, that's kill performance in a big way.

  HP should be ashamed to ship new machines like that.

  I already have the same exercise with an Oracle database correctly. The problem increases when I use the SQL sever generic connector.

  I need to know how can I debug this type of errors. I don't know what to do.

  Update: it's a target recon. It seems that the query is run, but DBAT fails to read reviews. Could this be a problem with the nvarchar data Type?

  Fatala. Confirming that the problem was with the nvarchar data type.

  Reconciliation has gone well after you change the data type of the columns on the target ms - sql db to varchar.

  also got my hands on dbat v11. Connector. Time to test it. According to the docs it supports the nvarchar data type.

• PowerEdge 2500 - no available boot device

  I'm trying to revive an old Poweredge 2500 that starts up with the error: no available boot device, press F1 to retry or F2 to enter Setup utility

  I have 3 drives on the SCSI channel Hot and also have a CD ROM on this channel too

  I set the boot sequence to boot to CD Rom first, so that I can maybe just install Windows Server 2008 and get things up and running

  But it is not booting to CD ROM. its just commissioning and turning the device No. Bot available

  Is this dead or can I revive somehow? Thank you

  Server 2008 DVDS only and I doubt that any 2500's never delivered with DVD players.  You should be able to boot from a CD of 2003.

  Is there a BONE here, you want to fix it?  If so, do you have RAID (PERC 3/Di) activated in a RAID 1 or RAID 5?

• The upgrade of my XPS 435mt CPU

  Does anyone know if the processor on the XPS 435mt (bought in 2010) can be upgraded to a new processor generation 3rd i7 - or if the motherboard would be able to accept anything newer than the 2.67Ghz that I come to the Board of Directors - he slowed way and I thought buy an i7 would keep at least going me for a few years...?  Any ideas or suggestions?  If I have to replace the motherboard to upgrade of processor - has someone at - he tried this successfully?  What motherboard do you have had success with.  I use the computer mainly for video editing of home movies... and internet surfing - just seems like he has really slowed down... Thank you

  Sorry to revive an old topic but I am also wanting to upgrade my cpu to the 965 920 (as above). It would simply be a Plug - and play Exchange with nothing else to do? Well well, after a BIOS update? And I'd love any transfer to a new, more general cases.

  But, before you install the new processor, verify that the latest BIOS is installed.

  When a processor or a radiator is removed, replaced or reused, it is advisable to clean both and reapply a paste heat, as indicated.

  Instructions for cleaning and application of thermal paste, are HERE.

  Only a small tube of thermal paste is required, this can be bought from any store of the local computer, or online.
