• Cannot create links with editing in the browser

  Sorry to post this here, but I'm out of options. Three of my clients are unable to create links on their sites using IBE. I tried to reach out to the IBE team on it for more than a month. I called Adobe Support the other day, that escalating the issue to the BIE team, who sent an automatic e-mail response that I was here in 24 hours, which was a week ago.

  These issues in IBE makes null and void, and I'll have to do all updates for customers of myself while apologizing constantly telling them that they would be able to make changes to their sites as themselves.

  Is there anyone on this forum who can attract the attention of the IBE team? Please note - I have tried all the normal channels.

  This is a known bug and there is a current fix. Basically what is happening, it's there are two changes taking place simultaneously: 1) addition of text in a text frame and 2.) adding a link. The solution for all those who faced this problem is to add your text, click outside the text frame, click inside and add your link to the text (to break in two separate actions).

  Update (October 11, 2016): this issue has been resolved by the release of today. Adding hyperlinks to the new text should now work the first time.

  All my files are suddenly labeled private, I can not click on 'create link', nothing happens there...

  It's working now... I think it was a matter of cloud that has been corrected.

• Create PDFs from MS Word documents with DWG files embedded

  
  Using Adobe Acrobat Pro XI, I regularly create PDF documents from MS Word documents with AutoCAD DWG files embedded.  If I print to PDF it is well with integrated designs but if I use the plugin Acrobat text in the drawings would then become too light to see in the created PDF file.  I need to be able to convert to PDF format rather than print them in PDF format in order to have the bookmarks and links created automatically.  What parameters control the darkness of drawings ACAD contained in MS Word files when they are converted to PDF files?

  This problem was caused by the use of dynamic blocks with several line colors and thicknesses in the original DWG files.  They were used to allow the quick creation of drawings in AutoCAD for several different components that share similar attributes.  Unfortunately when these drawings are incorporated in MS Word or PDF files is created directly from these drawings, items in the drawing would randomly disappear when a PDF file created from them.  The solution is to open each offending in AutoCAD DWG file, move everything to layer zero and set the thickness of the text elements.

• Scanner Epson DX 4200 cannot deliver personalized to the Word document scanning

  I have recently updated from a rather old Dell Windows XP computer to a new model of Zoostorm 7873-1200 with Windows 7.  When I use the Word "Insert" tool to insert a scan of my scanner Epson DX4200, I find that if I select "Custom Scan" the forecast and custom scanning seem to work perfectly and allow me to select the area on the preview scan, but the analysis itself does not appear in the Word document.  However, if I start by selecting "Scan" instead of "Custom Scan", the scanned image of the entire page, including the entire region, I'm not, is transferred successfully to the word.  When I had XP, these two options worked.  How can I get the "Custom Scan" option works on Windows7?

  Hello Niranjan,

  Thank you very much for you encourage them to respond.  I've used the same scanner with Windows XP before and had no problem.  The driver for Windows 7 has been installed since the site Web of Epson.

  Since posting my request custom scanning suddenly said to work on the Windows 7 computer without any additional intervention by me.   It's completely inexplicable that my wife and I as well tried several times without success, before asking for help.  I can only hope that his recovery is permanent.

  Thanks for making me aware of the compatibility mode.  I see that this could be a valuable mechanism.

  Try to save the WORD document with the extension vs .docx .doc and transfer the assets.

  The .doc extension work. I'll let the PM team know that we are currently blocking .docx.

  You must activate the variable with the Images of the document setting up the project. When this option is enabled, the images are displayed in a pop-up window when you select the requirement in the management view.

• Cannot create the subfolder in the documents using right click on - it just hangs...

  Hi, I saw another post on this subject, but the answer did not help unfortuantely.  I have a new laptop Lenovo with Windows 8, and when I try to create a new subfolder to save a document in using right click, it hangs for centuries and then finally replaces "resposnding".  It is not compatible 100% that I managed to create new folders, since I've had the laptop.   Same problem when you try to rename a folder - anything that requires a right-click.

  Is this a Windows 8 'thing '? Anyone know some stuff to fix?

• in acrobat 9 Why can it ever create a pdf format word document correctly?

  So I have acrobat 9 and because I have a lot of problems with the editing of PDF files in it, I need sometimes convert the pdf into a Word file to help with editing.  However he never even comes remotely close to convert properly. I mean that's not even close.  and the PDFS are very simple, don't chart no text of a few photos. Very frustrating.

  I use CS3 Acrobat Pro 8.2 and I can't get a Word in PDF doc.  It starts but then stops just at 10%.  I tried importing from Acrobat and just get the message error "an unexpected error has occurred. PDFMaker was able to produce the PDF from Adobe. »

  Of course, it's an option as well. You can attach files to the main PDF file, or you can merge all files into a single PDF portfolio.

• Creating links in Word documents converted

  I converted a Word docx document to HTML which consists of a set of documents that are linked together.

  Accordingly, each section in the doc full (except the title and Table of contents), actually becomes a JPG editable text box.

  I tried to create links between the Table of contents for the different sections.

  I tried everything but I'm missing some concept.  It's one of those things, I just see it once I will hit me more head FRO not fiquring out.

  I hate to burst your bubble, but Word documents are not suitable for web pages.  My advice is your docx to PDF.
