Rhapsody problem

Alright.

When I have my rocket on Rhapsody you try to transfer some songs on it, it tells me to buy the song. I tried him. It says to click on the device icon and press on allow. There is no button authorize. I am already registered for Rhapsody ToGo, but I can't transfer songs. Solutions?

Your Sansa is in incorrect USB mode for the subscription content.

If you look at your Sansa in the Rhapsody sources pane, it displays in CAPITAL letters in MSC mode.  Unplug your Sansa and go to settings > system settings USB Mode > MTP.

Your device should now list as "Sansa Fuze 4 GB" for example.  Right-click on the device and allow will now be available.

If the "rocket" is not recognized in MTP mode, the problem may be with Windows Media Player, which contains the drivers for the PSG.  Let us know if the "rocket" communique in MTP mode.

  • New and strange problem with Rhapsody to go on my Sansa Fuze

Have a Fuze with 8GB micro SD 8 GB card inside and use for a long time without any problem with Rhapsody. Recently, I had not synchronized for a long time and got the message to play the tracks of my subscription, I need to sync with Rhapsody. So I don't tell me, no problem, and I do. The synchronization works very well and I get the message Rhapsody, it's reading the tracks on my Sansa and I get the message that it updates the internal memory on my Sansa. Then everything is finished and when I click on the internal or external memory, Rhapsody, I get the message that all is well and she sees all my Sansa great Flickr photos. I even put a couple of new albums of Rhapsody on the SD card in my Sansa. Once again, no problem.

BUT when I disconnect the Sansa (again once, normal behavior with the green bar on the Sansa screen and the message it refreshes my media), he always says I have to synchronize to play the tracks on my subscription.

Have tried resetting the sansa, tried the sansa when logged in to rhapsody, but nothing seems to solve this problem of license. How can I fix?   Thanks a lot for your help

Ah, I leave you with the secret handshake to reset the secure clock.  Normally, this is done in this last step, when you transfer a track to the device.

Open the client Rhapsody 4 and plug your rocket.

Now for the tricky part.  Crack the knuckles and fingers ready.  Press and hold the [CTRL] + [SHIFT], then right-click on the "rocket" in the Sources pane.

There you go.  Select Reset secure clock.

See if the device is now happy.

If all else fails, use the Format command on the "rocket", which will erase all media device, and then start over by allowing first and transfer some test tracks.

My theory is that something is wrong with your secure clock...  Let me know how it goes!

  • Problems of sound quality with my Sansa Clip and Rhapsody subscription titles

I'm at my wits end here. This last Christmas, I bought a black 4 GB Sansa Clip for me. About two weeks after I bought it, I got a low-memory error to create a database. I've reformatted the drive, transferred songs and everything worked fine... for a week. Then I got the same error message that he died completely. As in it would not turn on at all, even connected to my PC.

I brought instead buy one leave and received a replacement. Now it will not play long pieces of subscription Rhapsody without a slight distortion starting about 13-14 minutes in and continuing to the end of the track.

I did not have this problem with the first Clip.

I don't have this problem with securities that I torn and transferred.

I don't have this problem with my c250.

I have this problem with my 4 GB Clip son cash. However in addition to the simple to burst I get with my Clip, the music also sounds distorted, with large legs on her.

I already have the routine of songs and dances for Rhapsody. I have also updated the firmware of these two Clips Sansa to v02.01.32a, tried to transfer using two different USB cables and several USB ports on my computer. The only thing I have not done is reformat the thing. After having to transfer 600 + tracks 3 times in two months, I am rather hesitant in doing so.

Anyone, please, help me solve this problem?

Ah, we'll add some gloss of your clusters.

The your Clip file allocation table a wee 4 KB clusters.  Since you have a 4 GB device, this FAT is big enough.

Decoding of the Rhapsody tracks requires some supercomputers, being secure to 160 Kbps wma files.  The Clip is responsible for finding the next block of data, but it must focus on this huge FAT.

    The solution is simple!

Turn on your trusty Clip.  Go to settings > Format > Yes.  This reformatted the device with 32 KB clusters, optimized for the Sansa.

Please note that this will delete all existing music to your Sansa, and you will need to reload.

On the other side of the coin, you will hear now own sounding music!

If you format from Windows, it has the bad habit of formatting with teeny 4 KB clusters - and stuttering that results will make you crazy.  If you format Windows, ALWAYS follow-up with a format on the device via the parameters.

a setting in your computer on how the Walkman is recognized can also come into play, mainly because the problem is the software is not able to recognize your walkman, even if he can transfer and listen to music from your library without problem.

  • SansaClip + 4GB may be permitted for Rhapsody

I use first Rhapsody and just got a replacement of a defective SansaClip + 4GB that I am trying to allow on Rhapsody to transfer songs.  I had no problem allowing two previous SansaClips, but with this one I can't get something to open that will allow me to authorize a new.

I used the compatibility report of the device on the page of Rhapsody and obtained information that my device is not currently configured for

use with Rhapsody Prime Minister but the settings on the Clip could be modified to allow this.  Of course, there is no

information on how to do it.  I used the Sansa update and also reformatted the device.  Rhapsody sent an email on this subject, I am hoping to get some help here.

Anyone with any ideas on that?

    Respectfully submitted.

Black Rectangle - you sure lived up to your status of guru on that one.  It worked!

  • Help to update Rhapsody channels?

I have loaded 3 Rhapsody channels on my rocket more with no problems.  I, however, can't seem to day when I finished listening to them.  I tried clicking on update on each channel within the Rhapsody software, but the channels are not updated with new music.  Can anyone help please?

No worries, it's just a problem of server of Rhapsody, I'd bet.  It is possible that the system could have trouble interpreting your channels loaded on the new platform, the rocket +.  When the Clip + has started, Rhapsody would sometimes get confused, since the Clip + is very similar to the "rocket".  Available on the little guy registered initially Rhapsody photos customer...

The channels are actually an internal playlist on the previous platform, but are stored differently on the rocket.

As you have no doubt discovered, we have the section strings nestled within the music, and you must break completely on Rhapsody on-screen.  I have Rhapsody available channels as before, in the main menu, as a special option which appears once Rhapsody is added to the device.

Certainly, at the moment, if your list is not refreshing, just delete and readd, if the channel is giving right for you.  It's pretty fast to reload.  I am hopeful that Rhapsody Gets the kinks figured out soon.  Don't forget to use the Check For Updates function occasionally, as the mask of 'making available' is still not displayed automatically.

  • Instructions for adding playlists to Clip +? Too many problems.

Hi, I had problems adding playlists to my Clip +. I FOLLOWED THE GUIDE STEP BY STEP and I have a playlist that has only 1 song on 13. I have somewhat the same songs in different playlists, but this shouldn't be a problem.

Then, I tried to make a new playlist. I've tried all the ways, USB modes and formats to transfer a playlist, and it NEVER shows in my Clip +.

If Sandisk, since you make it impossible to transfer playlists in the Clip +, what are the step by step instructions?
-What is the best program to use to transfer songs and playlists? MediaMonkey? Windows Media Player? Rhapsody?

    -Format playlists should be in?

    -What USB mode I'm in?

-How to add playlists step by step?

    * You should make a new firmware to fix this shitty transfer of playlist.

You may find this method using useful Winamp. Runs like a champ for me.

  • Rhapsody channels disappeared

Hello. I've had the Clip/Rhapsody for 2 days now. I connected the video to the PC/Rhapsody more than a dozen times - maybe 2 dozen times. So far I've only seen the function of the channels for the transfer and the update to the clip appear when logged in 2 times. I added a few channels the 2nd time this feature appeared. But since then the tracks of the channels appear as in the playlists and channels effective update/transfer of the clip function is missing again.

    I have so far:

    Rhapsody updated to version 4,311

Updated the firmware of the Sansa Clip to V01.01.30 (4 GB)

Update of Windows Media Player to V.11 (XP)

    Updated Microsoft Windows updates

I really want this feature of channels for my clip. I'm on a free trial with Rhapsody. I couldn't find anyone else having this problem. No idea what the problem is

has worked exactly as you said, thank you very much!

  • Rhapsody to go playlist and transfer ASSISTANCE!

OK, I'm new to this warning if... My drive was working fine, I had no problems transferring my playlists on my player and then suddenly yesterday everything went straight to h * ll! Initially, I was able to transfer a playlist, but it has appeared as "New Playlist" not what I named it. Now, nothing is going to transfer. Rhapsody's going to say '2 transfer of 30... '. 12 min remaining"However it will say that for hours and hours and hours! I tried to reformat, defining the modes usb, erasing all settings factory reset and everything else I've read these tips. I tried at least a hundred different ways and still nothing. I now empty music player and rhapsody says it transfers but is not. Anyone previously met and someone has a solution for I can put my music on my player. I'm so frustrated right now, and there seems to be no hope in sight. Help, please!

This happened to me too a few months back.

It would take hours just to transfer some songs.

What I did to fix it was Rhapsody go to tools > Preferences > my library

Then choose 'Download tracks on hard drive' rather than «add tracks as stream only»

    This should speed up.

  • Requiring a sync, but I'm not a user of Rhapsody

I have a clip and try to listen to my audio books.  I read references to "a lot of problems with the audio books" but have not seen anything specific beyond the length of the audio becomes cumbersome to navigate.  The question I have is that files are 'there', memory is exhausted as if the file is and I can select in the unit.  However, when I try to play the file, I get an error 'synchronize to listen. "  The reports I've read about this particular error refer to the Rhapsody music subscription expirations.  Some of the files I'm trying to play are Audible.  Others are directly from the CD I bought conversions.

    Any help?

    Hello world

Thanks for your useful replies.  I just wanted you to know that the problem has been solved, and the solution WAS with Audible.  I had to uninstall the sound Manager and reinstall before that she would accept the Sansa clip (even though she acknowledged and he has even shown the files) and there are a few titles that I had to uninstall and redownload, but everything seems to work fine now that I reinstalled Audible manager.  The problem with the file that I converted directly from CD, but I am always satisfied with the solution, because at least I can listen to most of my library now.

  • How to convert videos with Rhapsody?

Can someone guide me through the process of conversion of video with Rhapsody? Many have claimed that Rhapsody, while it may take more time, will make video conversion INSTEAD OF to the SMC HELP.

    HOW ARE YOU?

As someone said in a previous post... can you show me how to love you teach a child of ten years?

I don't see any options to perform a video conversion on the site of Rapsody.

Rhapsody will convert the videos only purchased by them, and the converted videos won't work if your membership is current, because it is with the music? I can download a movie in public domain, and then convert it with Rhapsody? Convert a dvd with anyvidconverter, and then deal with Rhapsody? I don't see videos for sale (in electronic form).

    How does this work?

People ask for help with this EVERYDAY! Can we get REAL assistance to this issue?

    PLEASE?

With Rhapsody 4 client open, click the file tab in the upper left corner.  Select Add data to my library.

Check the box Scan for videos in this folder, and then enter the path to your video files.

If the files are from a DVD, VOB files must first be 'cleaned' by an application like DVD Decrypter.  Of course, these are DVDs in your collection.  Also inexpensive that DVDs are, of course I have a copy of the movies I like.  I myself remember days of movies $ 90 in format VHS-we have come a long way.

I've personally not played with R4 client and import VOB format yet.  If this does not work, simply download AnyVideoConverter to convert the MPEG2 file or avi for Rhapsody to have a race.  I always ran that from the CMS for most video DVDs without problem.

Once the files are imported, you just drag and drop to your Sansa then it is connected and available on Rhapsody customer's screen.  Drag the videos.  It is slower than the SMC, of course.  Rhapsody send avi files for playback on the "rocket".

I hope that this puts you on the right track!

Oh, and if you mean by your highlight support RealNetworks, good luck with that.  They need a lesson by the folks at SanDisk.

  • problem with firmware update

Hello! I got my new clip (8 GB) today and I'm totally happy about it. Everything seems to work fine, the only problem is to update a new firmware. I already searched the forums, but has not seen a similar problem. However, I apologize if this is a silly question, but I'm a newbie-mp3player.

I have the file on my PC and unzipped, but I can't copy or drag and drop in the root directory of the item. Somehow there is no option to paste it into the root directory. I mean, normally in the menu (in windows) you can select the "Paste" option, but in the root directory, this option is disabled. In the (music) files, I can copy and paste my music without any problem files. I use Windows XP and copy the files manually. I'm doing something wrong? Thanks in advance.

OK here is your work around.

Unplug the unit.  Go to settings > USB Mode > Select MSC

Connect the device to the computer.

Place the file of the firmware on the root.

    Unplug, it will update.

In addition, you can update your computer to WMP11.

After the update, you can change your USB return mode to Auto, MTP or MSC (if you want to access the DRM such as Rhapsody or Overdrive, Netlibrary content, select MTP mode).
