Dear Sir/Madam,
Nice day!
Please help me about my problem in unknown device to my laptop.
This problem appeared when I update my Windows 8.1 for Windows 10.
Thanks in advance.
Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forum. What you can do at this point that there are several updates released by microsoft and hardware vendors is running the Windows Update Troubleshooter.
If this fails to solve the problem. The only option will be to restore the operating system to the previous, until HP gets the drivers so that they can release them on the support page for your laptop for Windows 10.
Thanks again for posting and have a great day.

SSHD problems on 4210 5,0000 S58
Hello
SSHD didn't work on our sensor today. I connected via another method and found that SSHD is not running. After investigation, she refused to start because/var/empty had permissions rwx for group and other. However, we had not changed the configuration of SSH. We had not stopped sshd, but the sensor can reset it or restarted, it at one point.
Has anyone else seen elsewhere?
Does anyone have any ideas why it happened? It pertained to the S58 update?
I am very worried that nothing of what I've done on close these files.
Thank you
Joe
Joe,
I was able to reproduce the problem by changing the umask from root to 0000. By default, the root on the sensor umask is 0022. My guess is that this has been changed on your sensor, either in them during the
session in which the update has been installed, creating a .profile for root, or by modifying the/etc/profile file.
Change permissions on/var/empty and/var/empty/sshd to 755 will fix the problem starting sshd. I will also file a bug against the installer because it really must be able to manage this scenario.
Thank you
Chad

The only piece of information on this subject is: * ROOT\LEGACY_SERIAL\0000 series *.Please someone tell how can I solve this problem.
Thanks now to the entire community!

HP 15 Notebook PC: PC slow
Hello
I bought this computer a year ago. I use it for much. Check my email online (i.e. Gmail) and my iPod was updated (for example, iTunes).
It was slow when I got it, it's still slow. Typing in this forum is slow. My PC is delayed in the visualization of the characters, I type.
It started with Windows 8, and it was so long. Microsoft offered a free upgrade for Windows 10, so I did, it could solve the problem of hope. I did, but it does not solve the problem.
I'm late to display this problem on a forum so far because I was hoping that I would be able to fix myself through Google searches. So far, I've come empty-handed.
I think that it is not that I have too many things on my computer.
I posted the details of my PC below.
If there are other details, I can provide to help solve the problem, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.
Peter

P10:OK, I do not work for HP and I will take the liberty to say that it is. You have published hundreds of lines of specs without meaning, but this is all I need to know:
Processor: AMD E1 - 2100 APU with graphics Radeon (TM) HD (2 CPUs), ~1.0GHz
The processor is dreck, garbage, garbage, garbage. It doesn't have on a computer that is running something newer than Windows 2000. Your cell phone has a faster processor. And it is soldered to the motherboard, so there is no possible upgrade. You can change this and tweak that and it will always be slower than h * l.
Try to sell this thing to someone else or give it to your nephew you don't really like a lot and get a new laptop computer. I hope that you have not paid a lot for it. Next time that ask questions about what you buy and try to understand where the product is located in terms of performance relative to other competing products. Get at least an i3 processor. It is worth the money. Don't be cheap though, you lose your investment.
It is not defective. He performs as expected there just no be it power.
Sorry to be too blunt, but it's the truth.

Satellite A300 - 1 5 ACPI is not supported under Linux
I have laptop Toshiba A300 - 1 5. When I run Windows absolutely everything works fine.
But when I boot Linux (I tested the two 8.10 of Ubuntu and Fedora 10), Fn keys does not work.
Neither is bluetooth, which is a USB hidden and disabled by default.I noticed that pilots * toshiba.ko* and * toshiba_acpi.ko* cannot be loaded.
I tried to load them, but both * dmesg * and said */var/log.messages*: * {color: #000080} not a cell phone supported. {color} *.
I also tried to use * toshset, toshutil, fnfx *, but they all need * / dev/toshiba * and * / proc/acpi/toshiba * or * / proc/toshiba * exist.
And it is impossible to load them, because the cell phone is not supported.I have two questions:
1 Toshiba plans to cooperate with suppliers of Linux in order to fix this bug.
I have visited many Linux forums and many people's complaint they have keys functional unfunctioning under Linux.
So, I think that if the product is thrown on the market, it must be supported, is it not?2. How can I temporarily fix this bug to get the missing functionality before the next version of Ubuntu or Fedora? Can someone advice any solution.
(Well, please don't say: leave Linux and use Windows.) I want to use Linux, not Windows. "And I want a job in the same way).If you want additional information about a bug, I will provide.
Thank you very much.Hello!
I have a Toshiba Satellite A300 - 1 M 1 PSAGCE under Ubuntu Intrepid (kernel 2.6.27.11).
_I realized that only Ricoh SD/xD Card does not work (it worked on VIsta). _
Anything else is OK.
I think that our laptops are related, take a look at my ACPI and journal modules.

Satellite Pro L300 - 'problem adapter - driver not installed.
I replaced Vista with XP. Almost everything well except that I get this problem adapter - driver not installed message"whenever I connect. I have been on the download from Toshiba site and almost everything has been installed to the L300. Not very techinical so I would be grateful for simple answers.
If you can help I would be very grateful.
I went to Accessories - system information and here is the result:

HP Envy m6-1178sa restoration incomplete
Model: HP ENVY m6-1178sa
Product number: C2C18EA
OS: Windows 8
I was faced with a problem with my installation of Windows and it seemed to be a problem with "KERNELBASE.dll. I was told that I should be reformatting my laptop so I have, using the recovery partition (I pressed F11 at startup and chose the minimized System Image recovery).
The recovery process seems to operate normally, but in the end that it connected me on one account labeled 'Administrator' and said that the restoration is incomplete. I opened the newspaper and everything was going well, apart from that:
[RegistryDevicesCheck]
Result = FAILURE
DEVICE FAILED #0:
Description: USB - IF xHCI USB Host Controller
PNPDeviceID: ROOT\UOIP_BUS_DRIVER\0000
Code : [ 31 ]
And then he said he ran the PININST (Mini-FBI) going on, and then it displays a list of log files that were the result of "SUCCESS."
How to turn off the phone and restore it to its normal operating state?
Press and hold the power button until the laptop turns off.
Restart the laptop, press the F10 key to enter the BIOS. Change the year in the BIOS for 2012. Save & Exit. Try to begin again resumed by tapping the F11 key immediately after starting.

Unknown device on X 300 after downgrading to XP Pro
Device Manager indicates an unknown device, possible identifying information is the Device Id of Instance = ROOT\MS_PSCHEDMP\0000. After the downgrade to XP Pro, I have updated all the drivers and the software by using the system update, but the unknown device is still showing. I have not yet tested Wi - Fi, but I think that everything else works fine. Everyone get this problem?
Problem solved (I think), after unknown peripheral uninstall and re-analysis of a new material, it no longer appears.

My x 360 spectrum stops to get into sleep after a few hours of normal behavior. In other words, when the computer is started first, he put on standby and Hibernate mode then normally after the specified idle period. It can then be woken up and work normally and then to go back to sleep after inactivity - during a few hours. It stops working after the computer has been for a few hours. I don't know exactly how much time must be in place before this problem starts, but once it ceases to be able to sleep, the only way to solve the problem is to reboot the system. Once the problem occurs, the computer turns off the screen but that's it. He will sleep if I do it manually by pressing the button of power or a click on the Windows button and forcing them to sleep or hibernation.
I watched powercfg /requests and there is nothing listed that could prevent sleep. I ran also report with fluo compact powercfg and it also does not list something that prevents apparent sleep.
NOTE: The energy report is also EVEN if the system still works correctly.
I could use help to determine what is the cause of this condition.
Thank you. See below for diagnostic information:

Platform power management capabilitieslooking at the States of sleep
Sleep States allow the computer to access the modes low power after a period of inactivity. The waking state S3 is the State of default Eve for Windows platforms. The waking state S3 consumes only enough power to preserve the contents of the memory and allow the computer to return to work quickly. Very few platforms are supported States S1 or S2 sleep.

Controls of Type ACPI Performance (P) performance / Throttle (T)I found a thread on Microsoft answers community web site. Unfortunately, it seems that Microsoft has not fixed even though this thread is over a year. This has been driving me crazy. In any case, the problem is with Windows 8.1 and is caused by the use of a Microsoft account to connect to the computer. If the account is not connected, after a few hours the computer stops to fall asleep. If you close the MS account, then the computer will sleep normally. My dose is to convert my connection from the local computer to a local account and disconnect from Microsoft. This process is easy to do, go into the settings of PC and disconnect the account. It will keep your original profile.
Here is the link to the thread that got clued in the solution:
I consider this resolved issue that HP is concerned. Microsoft needs to address the issue. I'm not interested in switching to Windows 10 for compatibility reasons and, in this regard, the same problem can exist in the W10.
