• Portege M400 - utillity rotation screen problem

  The screen rotation utility, or more exactly the tilt to TOSHIBA accelerometer utilities is incapable of running and comes up with an error unable to open registry, (I got the utility on the site of Toshiba American as they seem to be a little more ahead of the release of the software and updates for their laptops).

  I can only repeat my statements here in the laptop forum and (drivers & tools) software designed for the American market are the same as the substance of the Toshiba Europe!
  I m not very surprised that the accelerometer TOSHIBA utility does not work correctly.
  That's why I really recommend you to download the version on the Toshiba Europe site and reinstall this tool.

  I m 90% sure this will work like a dream ;)

• Using the Rotate tool - problems

  I'm a newbie, but I know how to do this, at least I thought I did.  In short, I want to draw an ellipse, then use the Rotate tool to copy many of them, until I get a circle of them, using the lower part as the pivot point.  So if I want 36 steps, I put the angle to 10 degrees and copy, then ctrl-d to paste as needed to complete the circle.  The problem is, I can't get the pivot point for adapt to where I want to.  When I initially click on the ellipse first (and only), then my rotation tool, I then passes the pivot toward the bottom of the ellipse.  When I double click on the Rotate tool again to bring up the dialog box, the pivot point goes back to the Center.  Once the dialog box is in place, I can't set the pivot point more.  Furthermore, if I select the ellipse, select the Rotate tool, move the pivot point, then try ALT-click on the new point pivot, the newly copied and pasted ellipse will be elsewhere on the artboard.

  What Miss me?  Thanks for any help.

  Well I just found out the problem.  It's my Wacom driver.  I took my USB mouse and it worked like a champ, picked up the pen or the Wacom mouse and you never know where it will copy.  Thanks anyway.  At least now I know.

  I installed Windows 7 Ultimate on my TC4200, and so far everything works great. The only problem I've had is with the Q Menu, which is already a known issue.   We have found a solution. We had to use an old version of the Wacom driver and it solved the problem.

  I am trying to get images to rotate every few seconds automatically. I inherited the site from someone else and I tried to copy the ss hype container and script generated hype ss that they wrote, but I can't make it work. I think it has to do with the numbers at the end... the ? 14801 just before the "> < / script >.

  When I paint, I rotate my canvas in order to get the best shot. For some reason any when I turn with the other pictures it turns all the images in any way I can fix this?

  Uncheck the box do rotate all windows and see if that helps.

  When you print documents with landscape and portrait pages, I want the pages in landscape turned CCW in order to align the top of these pages (on the side of the header) with the left side of the pages portrait.

  After much frustration with this and no help from HP I tried a last apparently silly approach to solve the problem - I installed the upd pcl5 - x 64 driver. Guess what? The old driver works on the new printer and resolves the incorrect rotation printing problem. Go figure.

  The lesson is that the latest software is always better than older software.

• How to crop a video in first Pro CC 2015

  OK, so I finally get the hang of the rotation, only problem is when I rotate the file takes the form of the previous mould.  In other words, if the video was on the side and I Flip horizontally, there's a black cast of previous management on the side.  Is it all the same to "reframe" the black out?

  

  This is the info that I needed. As I suspected, this is the problem. Under the video section says '1080 x 1920' - it's the size of the frame of your video clip, measured in pixels. The size of the image is always measured horizontally, then vertically. In other words, it shows that your film is higher than wide - 1080 pixels wide, 1920 pixels maximum. The good news: 1080 and 1920 are standard sizes; the bad news: they're back.

  The solution: create a sequence that we know is correct, and then add the images in this sequence (no required reinterpretation) and rotate. What happens when you drag an element from the project in the timeline panel, is that first creates a new sequence that is made to this clip on measure. It's great when everything is spec. However, in this case it works against you because the video is not spec. So, we have to use what you did before but tweak it.

  1. click on your calendar for the active panel

  2. choose "sequence > sequence... settings. »

  In the new dialog box, you will see something similar to this:

  

  The edit mode and the time base will be probably different, but look at the area that I've highlighted in red.

  3. change the size of the image in 1920 horizontal and vertical of 1080.
  4. click on 'Ok '.

  You'll probably notice that video now looks wrong once again, even if the black bands are now on the left and the right. Just a few things more should solve the problem.

  5. Select the item in the timeline

  6. choose "window > effect Options" (unless this Panel is already open, in which case just start using it)

  7. change your rotation value until the video is correct - usually it's either 0, 90, 180 or 270.

  It seems has the update in the Muse 2015 more if it is not all the footage, transferred to the FTP host get black pixels, added at the end? The photos now affected are the same pictures used and downloaded with the previous version of muse without problem.

• Firefox on Windows. When I click on a link, Firefox hangs up with a rotating cursor. Problem goes away by moving the mouse. This does not happen with IE.

  Using Firefox 27.0, when I click on a link, a rotating cursor appears and continues to run. Move the cursor will solve the problem. I had this problem for several versions of Firefox, and I use automatic updates.

  Please update Firefox, troubleshoot Add - ons and if this does not help, then do a clean reinstall.

• Problem with rotation (Win 10)

  For some reason, my Yoga 2 Pro refuses to return to "normal" rotation (backwards or on the side). I tried to disable ymg services (no effect), I tried with the ctrl-alt key combination (each one works perfectly, except for the combo of ctrl-alt-UP). - but nothing makes it go back to normal mode. Does anyone have an idea on how to fix this? Thank you.

  Just realize. It was a problem with a driver (HID Collection V2 sensor that (for some reason any) was is no longer 'enabled'.) I noticed in Device Manager and as soon as I clicked on it, the system also showed a "Sdo sensor V2" and from that moment, the screen switched to normal mode (landscape, NOT upside down). So problem solved. I hope.

• Problem - edges of digital triggering slows down during the fast rotations

  Hi all. I have problem to understand. I want to measure the pressure with two strain gages on 90 degrees (NI 9237 half bridge II) and I engine with metal plate on it with 52 teeth (gear) to measure on each tooth of the strain. For the rotation, I use NI 9401 digital input.

  I need for example 1000 samples from the first digital edge to the second. (on the metal plate). I try to start trigger. In slow speed (turn around with the hand) of the metal plate, everything is OK. But if I turn around the metal plate digital fast triggers edges slows down. During a cycle on the metal plate on the cost of slow speed me 52 digital edges 1000 sampels by edge (metal plate is with 52 teeth), but rely on fast speed on me 25 edges. This problem is sync of the digital inputs and the analog inputs. I made the example with DAqmx Vi express. I've implemented on digital imput and then count me in each tooth regardless of speed and everything is OK, but when I buid trigger of strain on the edges of quick release rotation speed slows down.

  Can someone help me with this?

  So you're collecting samples from 1000 to 10000 samples per second. Which takes 100 Ms. If your triggering edges occur more quickly than the interval of 100 ms, some of them will be missed.  If you run faster than a cycle all 5.2 seconds your gear plate with 52 teeth, some triggers will be produced before the end of the previous data collection.
