Rpet L7850 all-in-One replace the cartridge

My L7850 has a message saying ' Please replace the following empty cartridge to continue printing: Magenta "so I replaced the Magenta cartridge with a new cartridge HP.  I re - turn on the printer, and it showed the ink level as full momentarily, then flashed the same message to replace the Magenta cartridge.  If I hit the OK button, it shows that the level of Magenta is an exclamation point (which means "empty").

I tried two new HP cartridges (think one was bad) does not.  I tried to clean the connectors with a cotton swab, but that has not changed anything.

Any ideas?  (other than "buy a new printer')

Thank you

Tom

FIXED!  I did research on this problem and I saw him EVERYWHERE... ok, I'm great, but hey, I'm happy.  That's the good news.  The bad news is that I don't know how I fixed it.  I did everything I was doing before 4 or 5 times.  The last time I did it, I did the same sequence of events (lit, removed all the cartridges, closed the door, unplugged, held #3 and plugged in, waited 15 seconds to reset cartridges when it detected there not)... and nothing has worked.  Then I opened, with inside and shaken some of the wires, then I turned it on its side for watching below, then put it down and opened up the top focus on the scanner glass.  When I did, the light was about 2 inches in the Middle - it restored.  Then visualize then read "Alignment" (or "Line printer" or something like that).  It has buzz because some time and I left.  When I returned, all the readings were "full".  Don't know what I did but I guess I have something unlodged... personally, I think it was the light of the scanner, but that I know.

So... all is good now... don't know PRECISELY why.

see you soon,

dugz

Replace the black cartridge that came with it initially with a 61 new Staples Black.  Now the display shows "the following ink cartridge needs to be replaced" and there the symbol for black. I've sat down and reinstall the cartridges, cleaned the contacts on the new cartridge (which was probably stupid) but I followed the HP instructions in the manual, cleaned the internal contacts of copper, it turned on and off as described, plugged into a surge protector and not in one, and I still got the same message.  It's not real comforting on the first change of ink.  Now what?

  • Reference Dell 922 All In One Printer the cartridge cover

I'm unable to close both lids of cartridge (black and color) in this printer. However, they all have two close when the cartridge is not inside. I thought it was not aligned, but once this was fixed, it does not close. Anyone else having this problem?

I solved my problem.  It had to do with the cartridge cover.  Inside of the cartridge cover a piece was almost detached and got in the way when you try to close the lid.  Needed to ensure that it was flat against the cover and I was able to close the lid.

  • 6600 HP all-in-one: 6600 printer cartridges need to be replaced as often

The color on this printer cartridges need to be changed all the time and I do not print in color.  So when I'm ready to print something it will not print in black only.  Can I replace the cartridges in black and use black only?  Black doesn't last for long either but...  Very disappointed with this printer.  Had the impression that I could print in black only when other lack which is not correct.  It cost me more money to replace the cartridges what it would cost to buy another printer, which I am looking in now.  I buy cartridges very long service life also.

    Thank you

    Thanks Gemini02
I have asked questions about this at Best Buy and I was told the same thing. Unfortunately, it can't be avoided as you say. It is very expensive and as I said, I'm looking to buy a new printer, a laser printer this time.
Thanks for the confirmation on my question.
Hope this also answers Betsy2 question.

  • Office Jet 6500 E710n-z will not print black even just replace the cartridge with a new one.

This is the 3rd time having problems on "black" even printing ink isn't empty (but the level is low, like a quarter left).  In the previous cases, I replaced the cartridge and the problem resolved.

The 2nd time was last week.  After I changed the cartridge, it worked (for only 1 week) and the problem is back.  As the ink is full this time and it worked fine when I just changed it, I suspect it is the problem of my printer instead of the cartridge.

I did clean the print head and align the print heads, but the problem persists.  Please advice solution.  Thank you!

I hope that the printhead has no need replace. I would like to look at this document on faulty production for your printer model.  I know some steps here mentioned you already make. Please just read / ignore those and try the ones you have not yet completed.  It presents various ways to clean the print head; If you have just done the cleaning of the box tools, I'd defiantly that manual. It also has a ride to make sure that the product firmware is up-to-date.  Here is the link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c02455482

    I hope this helps.

I used the B210E printer all in one for a while with no problems, however, I went to replace an ink cartridge and when I opened the access it would'n align to Center so can't remove and replace.  The printer is working so the ramasseherbe doesn't work.

Thanks for your reply. I watched your looking and studied your answers without any reference to this problem in case of problems. I have no problem changing the cartridge, but after the opening of the access door, the transport will not to allow me to actually replace the cartridge.

I have a HP Photosmart C4480 all-in-One printer. I also have a laptop HP Compaq Presario CQ60 with Vista.  These two are under the age of one year.

  • HP officejet 6100 series all-in-one - "remove & check cartridge - help!

I removed the cartridges, replaced the cartridges, is turned off and turned back on. A new message of supposed to check cartridge R.  Unable to get past this message. Unable to access the menu.  Help would be appreciated.

I would like to do a manual cleaning the contacts on the cartridge and the printer to make sure the accumulation was not the reason that one receives this error message.   Here a link to a document that addresses the mistakes of rejection of cartridge for your printer model. I know that some of the measures listed are those that you mentioned to try in your original post.  But this document contains the instruction manual that one needs to follow correctly in order to clean the contacts of the cleaning cartridge.

If still the issue after cleaning, I would like to do a hard reset to try to clear the error message and return the printer to a known working state.  No user settings are lost by performing a hard reset. To do a hard reset:

    1. with the printer plugged directly into a wall outlet and turned on, unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.

2 then unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.

    3. wait at least 30-60 seconds

    4. plug the power cord into the wall outlet first. If a module with the power cord, make sure that the light of the module and then reconnect power cord on the back of the printer

    5. the printer should power back on by itself, but if not use the power button on front panel to turn on machine.

My printer has been works well, but all of a sudden last week the message came saying "at least one of the cartridges has a problem", so I took the two cartridges to fill them. I discovered they were already full so it wasn't the problem. I was instructed to turn off and unplug the printer, I did several times and still nothing. I bought new cartridges today and that did not help either.  All the suggestions that I could try running just to buy a new printer?

  • I got a low ink warning on my mac for my printer epson artisan 837. I replaced the cartridge, which was low, but he still reads the low ink level on the mac, but full bed on the epson Control Panel.

Well, I replaced the cartridge as usual, and osx is not that the printer is now complete: says, "printer may be out of ink" on the status. Ink levels will be not displayed via the computer but check out on the printer.

Restarted both units and in vain.

If anyone has a solution or any ideas, please help.

    Thank you!

You can try to disconnect the printer, restart the computer, reconnect with the printer, and then try again.

  • 23 envy d027c All In One with the card mother Lavaca3-SB IPISB - NK. How to upgrade the video card?

I have a HP Envy 23 d027c All In One with the card mother Lavaca3-SB (pegatron) IPISB-NK.  It has a PCI slot available for upgrade of the video.  I want to do this.  I intend to use the pc for video processing and maybe a few games.

    How to pass the video?

What cards are best for this system?

What has changed in the BIOS or other settings I should do?  How can I get them?

    Thank you

    Art

The PCIe MXM slot is for HP install graphics cards in some models CTO (configure-to-order). Without the card installed when you purchased the computer, there the fan and radiator bad sets. You will need to buy a graphics card and the heatsink / fan of HP to try to upgrade the GPU in your computer. There is an extensive disassembly involved in this procedure. All-in-One computers have much more in common with laptops than they do with traditional desktop computers.

Honestly, if you want to do video processing and games... you should get a traditional desktop with enough CPU and GPU for these activities.

    HP Officejet 8600 more all-in-one. Win 7 and 8.1

We recently had some inkjet cartridges recharged at the shop [personal information deleted]
Overland Park Kansas. They worked for a few days then our printer started to show error messages. Since then, we replaced each cartridge with a brand new black cartridge genuine HP, but our printer no longer works. I was wondering what kind of recourse do we have. We were happy with Costco over the years, but we hope that we don't end up having to buy a new printer. We also provide this letter to HP to see what options we have. Thank your for your quick response.

Thanks for the information. "With this error, I suggest following the actions suggested in this troubleshooting guide: "Printer failure"Message may include a ' 0x610000f6" or "0x61xxxxxx" error Code appears on the printer.

Since your error has an error code, you want to follow the second option in the document. I would like to know what are the results with as many details as possible.

  • HP all-in-one with the ink cartridges printheads does anyone know?

I was wondering if all are made that way today. I'm not going Canon, Lexmark or Brother.

I need a new MFP/all-in-one because Kodak sells more of their ink anywhere, nor any that's it fill here. I hardly ever print, and when I do, it's usually just copy something. (So my chances of having a dry ink is very, very, very high).

If anyone can recommend a good laser/copier printer which is wireless and cheap replace toner, who would also be nice. I was watching the M1217nfw as such, but Toner 69 USD replacements are a little high in price for me.

I'm not good to fill my own of toner or ink, so please do not suggest that.
