  The Windows product key is usually displayed on the sticker on the underside of the computer.

  However, you can also get it by running the Belarc Advisor or the Magic Jellybean Key Finder.

I would like to use several new hard drives in raid 10, I have on hand combining with disks of the same capacity, but with different brands and different speeds: two Hitachi 2 TB 5930 TPM, a 2 TB Seagate 7200 RPM hard drive coupled with a Western Digital 2 hard drive 7200 RPM to, then two 1.5 to Hitachi 7200 RPM hard drives paired together.  These pairings using the Windows Home Server 2011 will be able to use the full capacity of all readers, that I propose to match or it will use as a record 1.5 to? In the hard drive Bay 7, that I intend to use a hard disk for the Windows Home Server 2011 operating system and I need to know if the capacity of the hard drive must be the same as the other drives to preserve the full capacity of my storage drives, or can I use a smaller disk as a 300 GB WD drive for the operating system? Is it necessary that all disks in raid 10 for having the same capacity and speed in order to maintain the total capacity of all drives? Thank you.

• Network card works no-Windows home server on VMWare server 2.0.1

  I installed Windows Home Server on VMWare server 2.0.1 and the card in Device Manager Ethernet OS says "this device cannot start (code 10)". Device Manager shows AMD PCNET Family PCI Ethernet Adapter and the current drivers are also installed. I installed the Home Server by selecting other 32 bit OS in the virtual machine. Also, I removed the network card and reinstalled the adapter in the control panel of VMWare. It shows connected and I fixed it to connect at power on, it is also a bridge connection. I don't know what to do or check. I thought to reinstall the operating system by choosing server 2003 32-bit for Windows Home server is based on this. It's probably something simple. Anyone have any ideas?

  Close the comments.  Edit the vmx by hand file and change the line ethernet0.virtualDev = "vlance" to "e1000" (add the line if it does not exist).  Back-light the prompt and install the driver for Intel E1000 network map.

  The code is located on a label and is a 25-digit alpha-numeric (and very hard to read) code separated into 5 groups of 5 numbers separated by dashes.  If you can't find it on the bottom of your laptop, open the battery housing and remove the battery and look there - I know of cases where this is where it was placed.

  If you can't find the product key, your only choice is to contact the manufacturer and see if they can help.  Sometimes the relocations made with recovery disks don't need to be activated (depends on the manufacturer and their recovery process must ask them and confirm before you spend money on the recovery discs).  A valid product key is required for activation if activation is required - there is no way around this problem.  And in case you are considering on it, you can't switch from one product not enabled - you need to do a clean and complete installation (update disc will not work).
