How to create a rule that allows recovering files .xls and .doc for an internal intranet site and still block extraction of files from another server to Internet Explorer.
At the present time CSA keeps popping up asking you want to allow this?

Do not know the pickiness issue but it seems that the rule of module Office 321 allows downloads.
If you have the DAC to work, you could add the desktop module and change the 321 rule to deny file access control.
Which could serve as the corresponding deny rule, that I mentioned earlier. It seems that the rule of module Office 321 replaces your DAC and allows downloads.

I had a network that worked very well with three 2 computers running Windows XP Professional and Windows XP Home Edition 1. Suddenly, the network has just stopped allowing certain communications giving the above error message (I have another thread address with XP to Vista computers). The main computer with XP Pro, I'll call A, the second computer with XP Pro, I'll call B and third with XP Home will be C. All computers can share files and printers then without any changes to the system that occurred the following:
A can access the documents and printers on B and C
B may NOT have access to documents or printers on one, but access to documents and printers on C
C cannot have access to the documents on one, but CAN access A printer and CAN access the documents and printers on B
When access is denied error message is displayed:
"\\A\My documents is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. Not enough server storage is available to process this command. "(\\A\ being the computer that I am trying to access)As I said access from all computers on this network was working fine a week ago and there has been absolutely no changes made to the network. 1. workgroup name on all computers are the same
2. file and printer sharing are enabled for all computers.
3. all computers may been from each computers just denied in some cases.The firewall that runs on all three machines is AVG and there were no changes to the one last week, but I checked that sharing is allowed.
I even tried to run the Configuration Wizard from the network on all computers to see if it works, but the same exact problems occur after doing this.
I met this problem now THREE times. I can't believe that I'm the only one who has this problem and I can't believe that there isn't a solution for it. None of the Microsoft documentation has even a hint of a solution for this specific problem.
I need a solution that closes completely the network at my church, and they cannot afford to buy printers and others for each of their computers.

5.8.1 infrastructure cartridge - create rule for 'availablePagingSpace '?
I have a number of AIX systems monitored by using the cartridge of the Infrastructure. I copied and modified the rules for the CPU, the ability to file systems and memory.
I need to create a rule to alert on 'availablePagingSpace' that appears on the chart "Memory usage" when I click on the "Paging Space" graph via the Host Monitor dashboard.
I'm assuming that I could copy the rule "Utilziation memory" and likely the condition to test insteead 'availablePagingSpace' of the 'use '. This seems to be a false assumption. When you use the rule condition query interface, these are the errors I get.

Please try this on a local Foglight Server first.
When you look at the gauge for swap space available in the dashboard you can see that it is actually taken from the host itself
If the scope of the rule should be the host itself, not memory.
The easiest way is to seek a similar rule with the host as the scope.
If you copy the rule run the length of queue for example, you can see that the scope of the rule is host.
You can then change the rule condition to and when you use the condition Editor, you can see the metric of availablepagingspace as part of the hostI hope this helps...

RV180 need some advice/Suggestion regarding the rules of access and Services
Hi, I expected to get some advice or suggestion with a RV180 question. I have a cable modem connection that connects to my port WAN RV180 and we have a single static IP address on the WAN port and everything works great. We have an internal Exchange Server, so we have a few inbound rules access allowing for ports 443 and 25. It all works.
This is the question that I encounter. We have now another service internal now needs outside inside access on port 443 (https), but I already have this configuration on the router for Exchange and when I have both sense, of course, it won't work correctly because the router just takes the first rules of access and use the one that works very well for traffic Exchange , but not my other service.
Is there another way to get this job where I can have two internal services on port 443 and the router can forward traffic appropriate to each of them since my first IP? (it doesn't really matter if I had two IP addresses because it always hits the same access list for internal services)
All advice or suggestion would be great
Hi, yours is a general networking, not specific to RV180 problem.
As you have only one IP public (on the WAN port), you only have a single port 443, you can support two services outside-to-inside.
The cheapest solution is one of the services to another port, if the service permits.
The most expensive solution is to have public IP addresses.

Got "the page you are trying to access is not valid." When trying to access the document
We have an EchoSign document already sent to the clouds to Adobe via API v20, after successful sending that get the URL to access the document. And in our application that is a cluster with two application servers, say a server and Server B and send the document to Adobe via the server. Now, when you try to open the URL of the document from Server A, it is well; but when you try to open the URL of the server B, it reports that "the page you are trying to access is not valid.". Any idea on this? For Server A and Server B, the URL is the same, is not why this happens.

Simply run the Windows Explorer on my Vista (desktop computer) machine and try to view or otherwise access My Documents directory on my Windows 7 computer crashes Windows Explorer (computers are connected at home). Messages event viewer the following:

I tried several things to cure the problem without success. My last attempt was to create a new directory on the Vista computer on the Windows 7 computer. I then copied some files (using the Windows 7 machine) from the Documents directory on your Windows 7 computer to the new directory and was able to access it from the Vista computer. I transferred then all the files in the Documents directory to the new directory (again on the Windows 7 computer). Then, I deleted the Documents directory and renamed the new directory of Documents. However, when I try to access the Documents directory on the Windows 7 computer from the Vista computer, explore crashes as before (see more top job Event Viewer). Windows 7 computer is currently running Windows 7 Home Premium, and SP1 is installed as are all Windows updates. I am able to access the directories music, Photos and videos on the Windows 7 computer from the Vista computer.

You can perform a scan of the SFC (System File Checker). It lists all the issues and will also retrieve all files if necessary. Follow the steps below to p Ed a SFC Scan -.
a. click Start, click programs, on Accessoriesprincipally made, right click guestand then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow
b. type the following command and press ENTER:
sfc/scannow
A message appears indicating that "the system scan will start. Be patient because the scan can take some time.
c. If all files require a SFC replace will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Win7 DVD for this process to continue.
d. If everything is correct you should, after the scan, see the following message "resource protection Windows not found any breach of integrity".
e. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.See the link for further directions on scan SFC - below

On my user account on my labtop when I click on a program, such as mozilla firefox, it happens 'windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. May not be the appropriate permissions for access you point. "This message appears for firefox, AVG, Windows live messenger, windows MediaPlayer etc.
I can access my documents, Panel etc. and everything is there, but it won't let me not get access to the programs.
Also when I go to click on itunes and open office it happens "this file has no program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the set associations Control Panel.
Given that I was able to access control panel, I was able to create a new user and use it for now to send this message and all programs have worked on it and I was able to check for the presence of viruses on the Avg on this and everything was clear.
