  This problem can occur when the power management profile turns off your network adapter.

  Method 1: To disable power management feature ent of network cards

  a. click on start

  b. right click on computer

  c. click on manage the

  d. click on Device Manager in the left pane of the window

  e. expand your network card.

  f. now you will see your network adapter or adapters if you have more than one. Right-click on the network component, and then click Properties.

  g. go to the power management tab.

  h. ensure that all check boxes are unchecked (check boxallow the computer to turn off this device to save power is off).

  i. When you have disabled the boxes, click ok and restart your system. Put the computer in mode 'sleep' and check if you still have any questions.

• Loss of internet connectivity after the modem / router reset

  I have a BEFSX41V2 and a Motorola SB6141 DOCSIS 3.0 modem.  My provider is comcast.  After all devices reset, unplug the power and remove the cable / ethernet cable, I lose all access to the outside.

  The strange thing is that if I connect any desktop or laptop computer at home directly to the modem, I have access.  In this case, the link for the transmission light / receipt of data on the modem is on.

  I had to send signals of reset comcast several times but it does not solve the problem when the modem and the router BEFSX41V2 are connected.  In this case, the link for the transmission light / receipt of data on the modem is turned off.

  Are there additional steps I must take on the router to reactivate the connectivity.

  Have you tried to do a hard reset to the router and then reinstall parameters later? To do the reset, please press the reset button at the back of the router for 30 seconds while the unit is turned on. After unplugging and then start from scratch.   Updates KB2478658 and KB2518864 cannot be installed in my SBS 2003 and caused a loss of internet connectivity.

• Windows Update 12/15/2010 causes a loss of internet connectivity

  After you perform the update 12-15 and rebooted the computer creates a loss of internet connectivity on our HP Pavilion (Windows 7). I confirmed this because I deleted updates and connectivity returns.

  I keep losing internet connection, I have windows 7 and every time I connect it to the wireless internet works for 5 minutes, then a little ytellow icon pop up and say its connected without internet access. IM literally on the point of throwing my processor through the cause of wall, I can't find a solution to this anywhere. Whenever the yellow icon pops up that I have troubleshoot and it indicates the default gateway was unavailable and that fixed it, then I have internet again for about 2-5 minutes and it does the same thing. Ive never had this problem on my cpu and the network has not been changed or anything, so I don't know what that the * could cause this. I literally wiped everything on my cpu and then do a system image to restore too. Ive been messing around with the registry, deletion of things here and there missions that I read, but only thing that happens is losing internet alltogether and must restore from system image. I'm really running out of ideas. Help, please. I have an adapter netgear wn311b wireless pci-express with the latest drivers.

  Definitely looks like a problem with the network device. Check with sound
  Support, their books online, the drivers and ask in their forums (if any)
  on known problems. If there is a control of the device shipped with the system
  Manufacturer (manufacturer of motherboard for customized systems). If a device check separated

  You could also remove or disable the device and try a new add-on as one

  Recently, I plugged a laptop running Windows XP to a desktop computer running Windows Vista using a standard Ethernet cable with the intention of use sharing of Internet connection. When I tried to set up ICS again, I couldn't connect to the Internet by using ICS. After this failure, I tried to configure the properties of TC/IPv4 (IP, gateway by default, etc.) manually, but I still couldn't run.  I am able to access the shared host PC and client files. It seems to me that some service essential to the proper functioning of the ICS may be disabled in some way, but it's just speculation, as I have no evidence of such a service. Help would be most appreciated.

  I tried this before using a laptop to share internet with my 360.  problem is there was Nat on the router, and it is in contradiction with the ics.

  Anyway long story short I did some research on the Internet and discovered that if you're behind a router ICS will be confllict with her, as ICS also does routing. a much better option is to "bridge the conections ' on the laptop.

  I want to configure an Apache Server on a Linux virtual machine (using the last VirtualBox) on my Mac running El Capitan 10.11.3.

  5.0.15 server is already running on the Mac (and I want to keep it, with the exception of web services). I have disabled the sharing in the web server user interface, but it was not enough, Apache listening ports 80 and 443, prohibiting VirtualBox to listen to them and transmits them to the Linux virtual machine.

  So I put comment out these lines in /Library/Server/Web/Config/Proxy/apache_serviceproxy.conf:

  #listen 80

  #listen 443

  8008 #listen

  #listen 8800

  8443 #listen

  8843 #listen

  After a restart, Apache seems not to listen to ports 80 and 443 more. However, VirtualBox does not become the listener. I tried this command in the Mac terminal:

  -i sudo lsof: 80

  and nothing has been returned, suggesting that something in OS X still prevents VirtualBox to listen to ports 80 and 443. If I try to convey some random host port of Mac to port 80 in the virtual machine, then I can my virtualized server access from Safari on the Mac host via the custom port said. But I would use the standard port 80.

  Any help really appreciated.

  Instead of commenting, assign a specific IP for the server listen instead of * (which means that all the IP addresses). This is only to the server on port 80 and 443 in this config file. I sometimes give an additional IP address to the Ether. Your Linux Machine can connect to the second IP address or the first initial assigned to your server depending on your configuration.

  Server is very aggressive in it's use ports, he leaves so all services to operate, even if you have the use of ports to other IP addresses.

  Is it possible to use QuickVPN with the RV042 without leaving ports 80 and 443 open to Shields UP great! scans?  As a solution, I'm pass these ports to a non-existent IP address and forcing QuickVPN to use 60443 port.  Yes, 60443 watch also opened too if I scan it, but at least it is not in the ports first 1056.

  As shields up is a very good tool to run inside your network to get an idea on what ports are open. It is best to run the scan of a computer that is not behind your network. I use nmap http://nmap.org/ and scan my network from the outside to get a better idea on which ports will show open. Since Shields up is running on your computer, it will display the results based on your computers as firewall. Yes Qvpn requires 443 or 60443 to be tuned by the router to establish a connection.

  The only suggestion I can offer would be to install the latest driver ethernet directly from BCM and see if it works.

  I think you need the first driver on the list for 32 bit.
