Salesforce sync campaign members Eloqua campaign campaign?

Is it possible to get newly added campaign SFDC members added to the corresponding campaign in Eloqua?  Example of why we would use this: VRP call Outlook and after a brief conversation, they want to add to a campaign to feed, so they would be add to SFDC and Eloqua campaign would then pull in new members of the campaign.  Is there a way to do this?

I found this thread, but since I don't have the same goal I thought what it good to ask again in a different context.  Member of SFDC Eloqua campaign campaign

Hi julia.teske,

Recently, we have built a solution which means exactly what you are trying to accomplish. In short, we have created an auto-synch that puts in the members of the campaign as data cards maps of data called 'members of campaign '.  What you can do is put all the fields you want to the segment and focus on integration. From there, you can created a segment which calls for all contacts who have a data field value card, then add them to the campaign of the innate.

Let me know if that helps!

  • Get campaigns Auto Sync in a folder

    Hi all

We create campaigns in Eloqua and Eloqua them then created in Salesforce. However, synchronization is not always perfect (usually, an error from the user on our side if we save a campaign before you create in SFDC.) When that happens, we get campaigns created by "Campaigns to get" automatic synchronization and he puts them in the selector field window and not in a folder. Is it possible that I can have the automatically created from auto-sync campaigns have put in a folder? We do not want to disable synchronization.

    Thank you

Just heard Eloqua which, from that moment, it is impossible. I created a new idea for this.

  • SFDC campaign creation

    Hello

Is it possible to have a campaign created in Salesforce that synchronizes in Eloqua and creates a real campaign (empty) canvas of Eloqua campaign?

Is this something that can be done through the autosyncs?

    Thank you

    EDINA

Altogether.  You can create an automatic synchronization in the CRM application integration area.  If you configure synchronization to import campaigns, it will create empty canvases in Eloqua with values of field than the corresponding SFDC campaigns.

  • Closed loop Reporting and several campaigns using the same form

I hope that I am able to explain it properly.

We have a webinar and a campaign of follow-up of living room. In the living room campaign, it is a simple 'personal' email to thank those who came to our booth and to invite them to the Web conference or contact us for further examination. So both the webinar and the campaign of trade show, I've added the landing page and the form for the webinar, however, when people register for the webinar, they appear in the living room campaign in Salesforce and campaign Webinar is empty.

So based on this it seems I can only get the landing page and shape in 1 campaign so that the Common Language Runtime function properly. Can someone confirm this for me? Or should I be doing things differently?

    Thank you!

Hey Rochelle, Yep you've stumbled upon a serious limitation by using closed loop reporting. This is what is happening. Since you sent your email show campaign, Eloqua adds dynamically the elqCampaignID of the campaign to show links in the email. So when someone clicks on the link, they are inherited from the elqCampaignId related to the trade fair. For example, this is an example of the link that is generated dynamically:

    http:// /LP = 312? elqCampaignId = 467

In this case, the fair campaign is associated with 467 but your Webinar campaign can be linked to 468.

The way around this problem to take the ELQ ID associated with the campaign webinar and hard-code it in the email you send. If you take

http:// /lp = 312? elqCampaignID = 468 and hard code in your email that you send. What happens is that eloqua then dynamically add the other elqID on the tip of the tail so you get this:

http:// /lp = 312? elqCampaignID = 468 &? elqCampaignID = 467. Fortunately, for the purposes of the CLR, it will take the first elqCampaignID he meets. Allowing you to have all of these authors attached to the correct campaign in SFDC.

  • Salesforce to Eloqua - new created contact

    Hello-

We are in the phase of search to Eloqua and Salesforce integration. Our first big question: If a contact is created in Salesforce, they are automatically synchronized to Eloqua? If the contact does not exist in Eloqua, will created a new?

Any useful information that you can send my way to start-up is appreciated.

    Thank you

    Sam

UPDATE: A class of education Eloqua "System Integrations." He did an amazing job to clear up many of my initial questions on Eloqua and Salesforce integration. Highly recommend!

    HI Samantha,

Yes your contacts will be automatically synchronized to Eloqua with the "Auto sync" feature in Eloqua.

  • Eloqua and Salesforce automatic emailing

    HI people,

Client has a requirement, so I'll try to explain it, but keep it as brief as possible:

Eloqua Contact records will have a multi selection list, lets call it "Categories interest in ', the contact will be able to choose from a list of categories they are interested, with the end point of view which we will e-mail all new items that match this category or categories.

So it uses SalesForce as Eloqua. With new articles being created in SalesForce and once created and ready to go they will be marked as "published".

As part of the publication of an Article, the system will automatically notify by email all Contacts with a preference ("that is, of what they have selected in the multiple-selection list" Categories interest in "") under Articles nominated categories. Eloqua will be used for communication by e-mail with a lead or Contact and will therefore need Salesforce to integrate with Eloqua for the notification process.

To prevent a user from receiving multiple alerts due to multiple preferences category about the same Article, Eloqua not will send an email of the same model to a contact more than once in several batches.

NB: The email template must be cloned because Eloqua does not allow the removal of e-mails generated batch by using the same e-mail template.

    Email template

    The email template will include:

    • Full name of sender - static text
    • Object dynamic line (use-title of the article)
    • Body
    • Article teaser
    • Link to the article

One and ideas how I could go about this?

I know it's very vague, we always link the terms of the final, but I'm trying to understand how can I do to automatically send emails to contacts of Eloqua, when an article has been created in SalesForce and which some of the data item in the e-mail template Eloqua?

Any advice or if you have built something similar to how you did on this subject would be much appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Andrew Mc.

    Hi Andrew

It seems developed, Yes, but I think we could work something to automate this process. I opened a file with your name (# 00142146); try to connect via the phone to brainstorm a few ideas?

  • Segment the Contacts that were originally created in Salesforce

Does anyone know how contacts segment initially created in Salesforce?

To identify which contacts have been created in Salesforce by sale, as opposed to those created in Eloqua by Marketing, we use a shared filter to feed created all new contacts in program Builder.  Our program evaluates if the 'Seller' contact field is filled (meaning that the person is assigned a representative to sales to Salesforce as a lead or contact) and that person is in Salesforce, who created the lead. If the lead has been created in Salesforce by user account Eloqua that we created to manage the Eloqua/SFDC integration, we know that it's an advance created Marketing which was created and assigned in Salesforce, so the program and then update a custom contact field that we created which indicates the source (Marketing compared to the sales).  If the person has been created by another user Salesforce in addition to the user of the Eloqua connector, the program updates the contact field to be generated from sales.  This method works for us because we have not all tracks from created in Salesforce Marketing; they are all created in Eloqua and then driven to Salesforce through our update CRM program.  With the source of custom contact field, we can segment and report on the contacts created by sales compared to Marketing-created contacts.

You might also seek to compare the Salesforce lead or contact create date with the Eloqua create date to see which system created the person, or maybe there is a way to eradicate the new contacts through integration so that leads new Salesforce and contacts are identified as such during a call 'get new contacts' or 'get new leads?

There is probably an easier and more elegant way to do it, but just wanted to share that our team has come with!

  • Outgoing external calls for SalesForce

    Hi people,

I currently have the integration between Eloqua and Salesforce, when a contact Eloqua gets updated an Eloqua form and submitted, he asks a program (that I put in priority mode) that then sends the contact in a domestic event, which in turn calls an external call. The external call has its 'this call by delaying' the value 0 hours. Am I wrong in thinking that, once that he reached that stage i.e. once its sent to the external call to the program) the call and the update for SalesForce should happen fast enough? It seems to take time before it is updated in SalesForce? If I test the external call to Eloqua using the external 'test call' and I run the test, it will update SalesForce very quickly. Am I missing something, or is it still a delay? The customer is not happy with the time it takes to update SalesForce and in some cases it takes that long that the SalesForce AutoSynchs to Eloqua are overwrite the initial changes that Eloqua should have made SalesForce, i.e. the outgoing original.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Andrew Mc.

So it seems the longer period of delay is when I look at the State of the integration and see pending updates. I can see my contacts here, but it takes a while before the update, and then update SalesForce. Get in touch with Eloqua they stated:

«All external outgoing calls (updates of Eloqua of Salesforce) are queued in the "first come first served '.» That said, waiting times generally cannot be more than 10 to 20 minutes of average. "and also"all calls that are added to the queue will be executed, without worrying if there is new data to be updated or not. Slowdowns are based on server load times. In heavier server load times, time queue/updates also takes more time. As soon as the external call is executed (i.e. through program generator), it enters the queue. Note that 17 minutes is not unusual for higher volume calls (contact update or update of lead). »

It seems that there is no way to make a faster

  • issue of monitoring/reporting document download

Our EQ 9 configuration has been implemented with a controlled forms process created by Eloqua Consultant. Every piece of content has a unique DocID. When someone downloads a PDF book, Eloqua adds this person to the appropriate campaign in salesforce.com. I am trying to find a way to run a report in EQ that will give me the email address for each person who has downloaded a document (DocID). So, I want to compare these data with corresponding salesforce.com campaign to ensure that the two systems are synchronized.

We called support EQ and they told us that you cannot run a report based on the DocID of our content resources. They also said that the only way to produce such a report would be to put a tracking script on the footer of document, and then run a report against anyone who has visited this page.

    Here are my questions:

    1. Anyone know how to run a report that will produce a list of emails for each contact Eloqua that has downloaded a specific DocID (resource of content).
    2. If the content is accessible is a document PDF is opened in Acrobat Reader, how do you add an equalizer to a PDF tracking script? As the document is open in Acrobat Reader, I don't think you can add an equalizer to the tracking script.
    3. If someone downloads a white paper from our site, EQ adds to the campaign in SFDC. If the data exists because Eloqua knows when someone downloads an asset and adds them to the appropriate campaign. Is it possible to access these data in EQ?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I'll slightly re - order questions, put them in the order needed to achieve this:

    (2) the assets must be connected on your website using the redir.htm page that is included in your tracking scripts package. Unfortunately, active such as files PDF and images or exe are not able to be tracked directly, because we cannot place our scripts on them. The workaround is to use the redir.htm page to create a link to redirect to the asset, which is identified in Eloqua. The general format of these links is http://www.yourcompany.com/elqnow/redir.htm?ref=http :// www.yourcompany.com/pdf-asset.pdf . The front part of the link may be slightly different depending on where you have decided to host our follow-up of scripts on your web server, but the part elqnow/redir.htm? ref = the link will always be the same, with the URL after the ref = following the instrument you want to redirect to the change.

    (1) once the asset is followed, you can use a contact filter to capture people who have downloaded the assets. The criteria of "Has visited the site" would be the most appropriate, and you can specify the exact PDF as the page that you want to search criteria.

    (3) at this point, you can create multiple filters for each asset and those like the charger using a program. In this program, you can use a rule to update to stamp contacts with the campaign proper SFDC ID and then push them through a step that runs the external event "Associated with the campaign", or alternatively, feed in your CRM program update and who have to ensure that the lead or contact is first create them if not, and then associate them with the campaign using the ID that has been affixed to their record in the previous programme.

    Hope that helps!

  • Automated Webinar reminders an hour before the event

    Hello

We do not use the typical WebEx or Adobe Acrobat Connect Pro for our Webinars so I need some suggestions on the establishment of an automated reminder email out an hour before the event. I tried several ways to set up in rural areas, but I'm stumped. The requirements and conditions that I have are:

    • The time change event and there is no reason to set
    • Guests can attend more than once these events and can be filed for several events at the same time
    • We can use custom Contact fields to accommodate data and imported it via CSV, or the same information is available in the maps of data/object custom
    • Registration information is not submitted by Eloqua, it is entered into our system and sync'd with Eloqua
    • We would like to do this so it is set and forget

The challenge I have is that I am not being able to constantly evaluate the same people within Eloqua and time of the communication. Do I need to use programs for this? We have no experience with programs yet so if there is the guide who can guide me through this it would be great, thanks!

    Gary

The best way to proceed would be in the program generator, you can configure a feeder that evaluated permanently and allow members to reinstate the program several times. I don't think there is a guide that would walk you by it, but your basic program flow would look like this:

Step 1) no passthrough-action stage, with a charger. Your criteria for fattening would be like "Contacts where the value 'Webinar time field' is in the next 2 hours. This feeder constantly evaluates.

Step 2) waiting stage for 30 minutes, in order to take account of the delays in the program generator, so that you get as close as 1 hour before the event possible.

Step 3) send your message using the package step send.

You can then make any desired treatment, or remove contacts from the program right here.

You can do more complicated if you want, but using field blends in the email to fill out all the info of the webinar, it's pretty "set it and forget it".

He is also a very good documentation on available on central client program generator, and I think that here on Topliners as well under the button at the top right, the Product Documentation by searching.

  • Connecting Salesforce campaigns Eloqua 10 recipients automatically?

We are past just Eloqua 10, and I wonder how to achieve this goal in the new interface.

Aim: Whenever we send an email campaign, we are all the winners link to a campaign of Salesforce.com (SFDC) (mixing of two leads and contacts in Salesforce).

Bonus: If someone clicks on by a link in the email campaign, it would be nice if their Salesforce campaign member status has been also answered or similar.

Are there features Eloqua, which can help me to do this automatically? (Currently, I create a separate program the program Builder to do this for every campaign Eloqua, which is pretty manual.)

    Thanks for your help!

Additional searches with my customer success and support Eloqua team, it's can be done via closed-loop reporting.  You still need a generator program to program to make integration with CRM in addition to your Web of campaign.  I like the way Chad described how it should work, so I created an idea using many of his ideas... just pop in the campaign ID CRM on the Web of campaign settings window and the set of criteria of response/link to get the campaign Eloqua members be related as campaign members in Salesforce.com.  .

If you need this feature, please click on the button to promote this idea and add your own comments! Let's get attention of management product.

  • Is the only way to add members of the Eloqua campaign to the corresponding campaign in SFDC by submitting a form?

Is the only way to add members of the Eloqua campaign to the corresponding campaign in SFDC by submitting a form? We want everyone in the segment to be considered members of the campaign in SFDC, regardless of whether or not they respond. These numbers allows us to look within SFDC campaign conversion rates. How can I make sure that all the contacts in my area of campaign are added to the SFDC campaign?

    Hi Alison,.

As an alternative to the approach of Ineke, you can also use a rule to update within the program Builder to set a value for the fields of your last CFDS campaign ID/name/status and other data updates that you can preform associated with this campaign, and then send it through your CRM up-to-date program.  In my campaigns, I add a step 'Add to program Builder' before sending an email.  It works really well.

  • See members from campaigning in SFDC

    Hi all

I need to be able to build segments "If a person is a member of a SFDC campaign" or not. I built an external call, "Campaigning members", who has worked... but sync is that the Member of the campaign if they have a contact in SFDC... not leads. Any ideas on how to resolve my external appeal? Thank you!

    Adam

    Hey Adam,.

Control you which object you bring to the wire (wire or contact) by the field that you use to map to your contact in Eloqua for the data card game. What I mean by that is if your data card placed the email field to map your data to your Eloqua contact card, then the object that you have mapped to your e-mail domain will be the object, it draws from. If you use the campaign member object as your initial synchronization you have taken from the e-mail address of the contact object associated with the Member of the campaign and not the main object.

I worked on this a few months back, and the only solution I could come, which does not require regular handling, was to create an identical synchronization. A synchronization pulls email from the head and the other contact. However, two synchronizations to update the same data card game.

Depending on your use case however it might be possible to create a SFDC formula field that would lead or contact email address on the campaign member and then use it as the single field.

    Hope that makes sense.

    Best,

    Jason

  • Campaign environment of segments added Dynamics members

We have a campaign for an event host us and try to add new registered courses and can not quite figure out how to do this.  If we wanted everybody to get all of the campaign, then I just put together a segment based on the filter criteria and have the segment evaluate every hour until closing, but what I want to do is to add new members to the campaign to the place where they join.

Here is a simple example of what I want to do:

    (1) Monday morning check because all saved people and send the email 1.

    (2) a.m. Tuesday. I want to send to everyone I send 1 as well as any person who registered in time since E-mail 1 came out, 2.

    (3) a.m. Wednesday. I want to send everyone I send 2 more new registrants since then, send 3.

If I just checked the box in order to evaluate the time ever, people coming to halfway started the e-mail step 1, not where they joined.  Any thoughts on how to set up a campaign to pull new people into where they join?  The only working solution I could come up with is a separate campaign for each email sent.  Any ideas on that?

No, it seems that Eloqua missed features, not you
