Sample NI 6221 clock speed

Hello guys!

In light of this:

http://zone.NI.com/DevZone/CDA/EPD/p/ID/4167

With DAQmx, frequency sample (for input and output Analog) clock can be changed after the departure was called [...]

Model: OR PCI-6221 (37-pin), PCI-6221

Why it generates me an exception when I try to change a schedule task when the task is started already? It works fine on a X series (6321) but it fails on a 6221.

Test TestDevices.IODevices.Tasks.AIAOTest.ChangeReadingDelayOfAnInputTask method threw the exception:
NationalInstruments.DAQmx.DaqException: Cannot set the property specified during execution of the task.

Set the property before starting the task, or stop the task before setting the property.

Property: NationalInstruments.DAQmx.Timing.SampleClockRate

Task name: _unnamedTask<43>

State code:-200557

It is stated in the document that it is supposed to work on a 6221. Is there something I missed?

Thanks in advance for you to the lights.

PL

Hi plg,.

Exactly what Kevin said. The sampling rate property can be modified in the tasks of the AO, but not the tasks of AI for the E, M or S series devices. I'll take a look at the document that you have linked and make the appropriate changes. Thank you bring to our attention.

  • Clock speed of the Radeon HD 4650 in the Satellite P300-23F

    Hi all!

I am interested by the Satellite P300-23F because of its nice, these two drives huge CPU and - finally and above all - good price. But I can't estimate exactly its graphics performance, because I could not find information about the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 used in this book's exact clock speeds.
Did someone already has a P300-23F? If you do, could you please read the core and the memory clocks the GPU with a tool such as the CCC or GPU - Z? Perhaps you have also information about the temperatures of the CPU and HARD drive and also on the performance of the HARD drive?

    Thank you...

    Hello

To be honest I m P300 owner but not the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 is known as M96 ATI with DDR3 (1 GB) of graphics ram.
I think that it s is not easy to say some details about the exact chip GPU clock speed because it of always different. It depends on the use of the laptop and the temperature.
You must know that the performance of the GPU are controlled by the graphics driver and if the temperature increases to a critical level, that the pilot might slow down the chip so decreases the heat dissipation.

The temperature of the processor and HARD drive depends on the use of the laptop too.
If you run games high performance, then the temperature increases to a higher level and would be higher than the execution of only a few common tools such as MS Office Word for example.

However maybe someone could put some values and details, it would be really interesting.

  • Yoga clock speed 900

    Hello

I'm looking in the "Performance" of the Task Manager tab and see that the CPU runs at ranging from 2.98 to 3.1 GHz clock speeds. Usage is not high, just the speed of the CPU. Y at - it a reason for this and can it be fixed so the speed decreases? I ask because I have not seen a computer constantly run at a clock speed near its value boosted. The minimum processor state is set to 5% in my power settings.

I believe that the ONLY WAY to reduce the frequency is to go to the "balanced"... profile

  • Yoga 11 s - maximum clock speed

Maximum speed [0.80 GHz] listed in the Manager tasks you think it correct?

    Hi bredinger

Yes a simple google on the issue 'Win8 task manager report incorrect clock speed' you will be discussion on the same issue.

They have been using using another CPU monitor app

They said in future updates should be able to solve this problem.

  • How to stop the power management to change my clock speed?

    Greetings,

    I run a HP compaq nx6320 laptop.

I noticed that sometimes, when the computer is unplugged, the clock speed of the processor is reduced. intuitively, this seems to be a technique of energy saving.

Using the Intel processor identification utility, I get something like this:

And I suffer notable sluggish performance for all applications.

I know that laptops tend to conserve that unplugged while power, some for example dim the screen, but they allow the user to increase the lighting, although it would reduce the time the computer can work with batteries.

I want something similar about the speed of the processor, I want to turn this feature off and power the computer at full speed while it is unplugged.

In addition, this feature is errornous, I took the screenshot above, while my computer is running on the current! and do not know why the power management insists on reducing the clock speed.

All this turns out be caused by overheating. I'm misleaded by the tip of the utility intel PID.

The fan of my computer was blocked by the filter sponge, which is made of a material that is poor, so partially decomposed and clogged the fan.

  • When I start my computer the clock speed of dram seems incorrect. Help, please.

    Original title: dram clock speed.

When I start my computer the clock speed of dram shows at 133, but I use pc3200 which is 400.  I understand that you must double the clock speed of the dram when using dual ram, but dram clock speed should be 200?  and if so how do I ftx like it, thanks ernie,.

following my recent posts, I tried a few other sticks of ddr400, today, I put them first into single just like sticks and the dram clock speed is 400.  as you advised the previous ram was poorly labeled so.  at the moment, I have two sticks of ddr400 and and everything seems to be fine.  I'll invest in a pair of quality ddr400 and I hope that now my problem is solved, thank you for your help and advice, and pointing me in the right direction to find the problem, I enjoyed it, best regards, ernie.

  • Z620 HP: HP Z620: increase the clock speed of the processor

I have a HP Z620 workstation with processor Intel Xeon E5-2620v2. In the datasheet writes: "Turbo boost stepping occurs in increments of 100 MHz.".
I want to increase the clock speed of the processor to the top of 2.1 GHz to 2.5 GHz. How to do?

    Hello

Turbo boost is dynamic based on demand. If you want a base clock faster then replace two processors Xeon E5-2630 v2.  If your application cannot take advantage of 6 hearts then consider the E5-1620 v2 which is 4 cores and has a base of 3.7 and turbos at 3.9 clock.

BTW - Turbo boost are not available on all PC configurations.

  • [Support request] Why my X 61 Core2DuoT9300 read clock speed 1.2 Ghz max since the @2 capasity. 5 Ghz

    Dear lenovo community

I really need help for my problem here as I already looking for information a lot on the net but can't find the answer:

I have Thinkpad X 61 with spec like this after benchmark with AIDA64/Everest:

    Intel Core2duo T9300 (Peryn) @2. 50 Ghz

Processor clock: 1200 Mhz (original 2500 Mhz)

    CPU multiplier: x 6

CPU FSB: 199 Mhz (200 Mhz original)

    Memory bus: 332,5 mhz

    L2 cache memory: 6 MB

    Motherboard: lenovo Thinkpad X 61

HD: 250 GB Hitachi SATA 5400 RPM, 8 MB buffer

    BIOS: BIOS Type Phoenix (18/04/08)

This laptop using Vista as OS.

Previously, I wonder why this laptop performance is quite similar with my old intel-P3 500 mhz, very slow

so after the reference with the software I know that my laptop is running half than the peak performance: @1. 2 Ghz compare with the capasity of maks @2. 5 Ghz, so I already knew what the causes of this slowdown.

I had another computer toshiba T5500, each cpu core read with maximum @1. 5 Ghz, so I think that there is something big Miss here because my X 61 compare to old toshiba could say 2 times slower

So I hope no friends could help guide me how to set the clock in the original speed, as should be

I try to log in the bios but sees no possibility to change the speed

    Thank you somuch

  • ATI Radeon Mobility Core/memory clock speeds - Satellite P10 873

I have a portable Satellite P10 873 using 64 MB Radeon 9700 Mobility GPU, the base clock is set at 400 and 200 memory. The chip must be run to 450/260 so if anyone from Toshiba is reading this can you tell me if the cooling of the Gpu is sufficient for these speeds (judging by the traces of burning on my thighs could well be unlikely)?

Is also the 64 MB expandable to 128 MB of VRAM?

    Post edited by: carmeldoab

    Hi Carmel

First of all the graphics card is a small chip that attaches to the motherboard.
The graphics card has no own cooling system. Only the CPU has a cooling fan.

Toshiba recommends to use the graphic driver Toshiba because the drivers are changed and support an overheating protection. In this case the graphics driver controls the heat produced by the graphics card.
In this case, it s undesirable to overclock the graphics card. If you want to overclock something so do it at your own RISK

I have a portable Satellite Pro M30 and when I check the system information, it indicates that the speed of the clock is 598 MHz, while the processor should run at 1.5 GHz, I tried to use "high" option from BIOS, but this does not alter the frequency at all. the laptop is substantailly slower it is, and it has been like this since I bought it.
What can I do to fix this?

  • Satellite Pro 6100: Intel Pentium 4 M clocked 0.2 Mhz instead of 1.8 MhZ clock speed

    Hello

I have a 6100 Pro Satellite under XP SP2 on Bios 1.90. A few days ago, he suddenly started running very slowly.
According to the value of the ID of Intel, processor running at approximately 0.2 MHz, instead of the maximum speed of 1.8 MHz, with a similar reduction in the speed of the bus.
I have reset the BIOS and restore the MBR & OS, but the problem remains.

I'm running on current alternative, with display 100% charged battery. I also turned off all power settings to try to stop the running slow robot through the Intel speedstep technology.

This might sound like a hardware problem, but if I boot the machine from a Linux CD (Knoppix), it works very well - very reactive, and according to linux, the clock measures the speed to about 1.79 MHz.

Does anyone has an idea what could be causing this, or what I can try next?

    Hello

at first your machine cannot operate at 0.2 Mhz. It's impossible! So I think that this utility Intel ID is not give you correct information. He must know that the slower speed will achieve your cpu, established in the region of 600 mhz.
With 0.2 Mhz run your computer won´t!
You said that you have restored your system, but the fact that you have installed the latest drivers and tools for this computer from the Web from Toshiba site?

Maybe your CPU is defective, which can be a reason.

  • Satellite L300 PSLB8E - how to increase the ram clock speed

I have a laptop which is equipped with 2 slots for ram PC2-6400
    1 - Samsung module M4 70T5663QZ3-CF7 [800 MHz] 2GB
    2 - Samsung module M4 70T2864QZ3-CF7 [800 MHz] 1 GB
    GPU: Intel GM45
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T5870 Mobile @ 2000 MHz
According to the manufacturer, this kit allows you to work with the 667/800 MHz memory speed, but the problem is that reference programs show the actual frequency of the ram at 399 MHz.

    Question No. 1:
    (a) why not clock the memory works in 800 MHz but only 399 MHz,
    (b) how to change to a 800 MHz

    Question No. 2:
I'm going to buy a processor
    Penryn Core 2 Duo T9600 processor (1066 MHz FSB) (2.80 G) Hz or T9400 (2.53 G)
and install it in the computer
and increase the memory of 2 x 4 GB 800 MHz (8 GB)

I explained that this possibility is provided for by the manufacturer according to the Maintenance Manual for:
    Toshiba computer
    Satellite L300/L305
    Satellite Pro L300
    EQUIUM L300
    SATEGO L300
    (PSLB8x/PSLB9x)
    (PSLBAx / PSLBBx)

If this operation will help to improve system performance

I put t know what programs you use and if it is good or not if this info can be good and perhaps not. I put t know. The fact is that you n t have one any influence on the functionality of memory and I doubt that you can do something and change some values.

Exact specification for laptop laptop does not for me but I think that Satellite L300 must have Intel GM45 chipset and I presume that for your motherboard FSB is 667 MHz. You can improve up to 8 GB and compatible 4 GB RAM module has PA3670U-1M4G part number.

Upgrade CPU on Satellite L300? I put t know man. A friend of mine has this model of laptop and I don t know if it's the right decision to spend money to upgrade this old model of laptop budget.

    Hello

Yes, you can compare material with different rates of acquisition and generation.  There are several examples that are provided with the NOR-HSDIO driver.  There are some examples of physical comparison you would like to check.

Two not that I am trying to program, but can not understand:

    (2) synchronize the three data acquisition modules I have to ensure that all data are received at the same time

the material I have does not seem to have any counters. A few examples that I read would not go because of this.

Any thoughts? If there is some examples/tutorials about this problem that I have missed please let me know.

    Thank you

    Hey, Rohan,.

Thanks a lot for your help. I was talking to a National Instruments process engineer yesterday and it me that the problem was the vi calendar clock source option - instead of using AI/SampleClock, I had to use the time base of 100 kHz clock that did not appear in the list until I checked the option "ListAdvanced Terminal" in the name of e/s filtering dialog box. You must right-click the constant/control of the source of the clock and select I/O name filtering to open this dialog box.

Thanks for all your suggestions, I'll try to apply it and check the performance.
