CPU clock speed condition sine qua non for the execution of 11.2

DB version: 11.2
Platform: Solaris, Linus (anything that can be run in x 86 environment)

I'll buy a laptop. Being an AMD fan, I was thinking of buying a laptop with the
newly launched AMD LLano.

Faster AMD Llano chip for laptop is A8-3530MX. Clock speed is only 1.9 Ghz but will reach 2.6 Ghz using the 'Turbo' technology.

In the document of 11.2 installation, I couldn't find a sine qua non being mentioned about clock speed

http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E11882_01/install.112/e17163/pre_install.htm#BABHICEE

Any idea where I can find this info?

Hello

Minimum 2 Core CPU should be fine for the test, you need to do is 8 GB of memory at least

See you soon

But replication works without any problem. Then, is not table-level logging a sine qua non for replication?

Only one of the logging method above is sufficient?

Database-level logging is minimal logging necessary to capture updates to PK columns. For your INSERTIONS and deletions will get replicated, even if at the level of the array logging is not enabled.
However, updates of non-PK columns will not be get replicated if the level table record is not enabled.

  • How can I use internal clock case OR USB - 6259 BNC for the acquisition of digital data in my own big software?

I want to integrate the ANSI C sample program ReadDigPort - ExtClk.c in my own big package.

I want to use the internal clock of the BNC NI USB-6259 (.. 80 kHz 120 kHz).

    In the document:
High speed M: Series Multifunction DAQ for USB - 16-bit, up to 1.25 MECH built-in BNC connectivity. / s,.
    is written:
Or sample DI source clock: Any PFI, RTSI, HAVE sample or convert clock, AO, Ctr n out internal and many other signals sample clock
The digital subsystem doesn't have its own dedicated internal synchronization engine. Therefore, a sample clock must be provided another subsystem on the device or from an external source.

How can I use internal clock case OR USB - 6259 BNC for the acquisition of digital data in my own big software?
With what other subsystem on the device can generate a source of the clock? How?

It is possible to set a clock on an internal counter (for example ' Dev1/ctr0"):
Creates channels to generate digital impulses that define the freq and dutyCycle and adds the channel of the task that you specify with taskHandle.
DAQmxCreateCOPulseChanFreq (taskHandle, "Dev1/ctr0" units, clockName, idleState,
initialDelay, freq, the duty cycle); works

But it is not possible to drive this internal clock to a terminal (for example "/ PFI0/Dev1"):
DAQmxErrChk (DAQmxCreateCOPulseChanFreq (taskHandle, "/ PFI0/Dev1", clockName, units, idleState, '))
initialDelay, freq, the duty cycle); does not work: error DAQmx: measurements: type I/O of the physical channel does not match the type of I/O required for the virtual channel you create. Name of the physical channel: PFI0. Name of the virtual channel: clock

The sample clock source can be derived from an external terminal (for example "/ PFI0/Dev1"):
Sets the source of the sample clock, the sample clock rate and the number of samples to acquire or generate.
    DAQmxCfgSampClkTiming (taskHandle, "/ PFI0/Dev1", maximumExpectedSamplingRate, DAQmx_Val_Rising, ")
DAQmx_Val_ContSamps, bufferSize); works. Acquire or generate samples until you stop the task

But it is not possible to derive the internal counter of the clock (for example ' Dev1/ctr0"):
    DAQmxCfgSampClkTiming (taskHandle, "Dev1/ctr0", maximumExpectedSamplingRate, DAQmx_Val_Rising,
DAQmx_Val_ContSamps, bufferSize); does not work. Error: Acquire or generate samples until you stop the task: make sure that the name of the terminal is valid for the specified device. See Measurement & Automation explore valid names of terminals. Property: Property of DAQmx_SampClk_Src: DAQmx_SampClk_ActiveEdgeSource device: Terminal Source Dev1: Dev1/ctr0

    Hi datafriend,

using what it says is correct:

Or sample DI source clock: Any PFI, RTSI, HAVE sample or convert clock, AO, Ctr n out internal and many other signals sample clock
The digital subsystem doesn't have its own dedicated internal synchronization engine. Therefore, a sample clock must be provided another subsystem on the device or from an external source.

This means that if you do not use an external signal as clock you can use the sample clock to HAVE it on board or at the output of the internal counter.

There are also 2 ANSI C examples in this regard:

    http://zone.NI.com/DevZone/CDA/EPD/p/ID/4485

    http://zone.NI.com/DevZone/CDA/EPD/p/ID/4488

So in both cases you have to use a fictitious task you need only for the generation of the internal clock (HAVE or CTR)

  • [Support request] Why my X 61 Core2DuoT9300 read clock speed 1.2 Ghz max since the @2 capasity. 5 Ghz

    Dear lenovo community

I really need help for my problem here as I already looking for information a lot on the net but can't find the answer:

I have Thinkpad X 61 with spec like this after benchmark with AIDA64/Everest:

    Intel Core2duo T9300 (Peryn) @2. 50 Ghz

Processor clock: 1200 Mhz (original 2500 Mhz)

    CPU multiplier: x 6

CPU FSB: 199 Mhz (200 Mhz original)

    Memory bus: 332,5 mhz

    L2 cache memory: 6 MB

    Motherboard: lenovo Thinkpad X 61

HD: 250 GB Hitachi SATA 5400 RPM, 8 MB buffer

    BIOS: BIOS Type Phoenix (18/04/08)

This laptop using Vista as OS.

Previously, I wonder why this laptop performance is quite similar with my old intel-P3 500 mhz, very slow

so after the reference with the software I know that my laptop is running half than the peak performance: @1. 2 Ghz compare with the capasity of maks @2. 5 Ghz, so I already knew what the causes of this slowdown.

I had another computer toshiba T5500, each cpu core read with maximum @1. 5 Ghz, so I think that there is something big Miss here because my X 61 compare to old toshiba could say 2 times slower

So I hope no friends could help guide me how to set the clock in the original speed, as should be

I try to log in the bios but sees no possibility to change the speed

    Thank you somuch

The clock speed will be less than the normal speed if I plug out the batery and use 65w adapter

When I use my adapter (65w) as well as the battery the clock cpu core back to normal (2.5 Ghz), an alternative if we want to use the adapter without battery taken in. we need to change the adapter 90w series

    Hello gurus,

How can we see what size of CPU and RAM for the database? According to the previous steps of this great site, I could able to do

How can I get the CPU information?

And where can I find information for information of system data files, logs, temp, Archive?

Ask the system administrator if the database server is a physical machine, if it is hardware partitioned or created under a virtual machine Manager? Check the operating system utilities. On AIX uname to identify if you are on an LPAR.

In Oracle, you can query the parameter $ v to cpu_count to see how many cpu Oracle says he sees.

    Hello Experts,

I want to see the execution plan of the query below. However, it takes more than 3 hours. Should I wait all the time to see the execution plan?

Note: EXPLAIN PLAN for does not work. (I mean that I do not see the actual line number, etc. with EXPLAIN the PLAN of market)

You can see the output of the execution plan when I canceled the execution after 1 minute.

My first question is: what should I do to see the execution plan for queries running out of time time?

2nd question: when I cancel the query during execution in order to see the execution plan, will I see the specific plan of execution or erroneous values? Because the first execution plan seems inaccurate, what do you think?

question 3: why EXPLAIN the PLAN for the clause does not work? Also, should I use EXPLAIN the PLAN of the clause to this scenerio? Can I see the result of running for long time without her queries?

I don't understand. What you hear from the above statement that you mean A-lines and E will be incorrect, but the ratio between them remain the same. Therefore, you can deduct the bad things by comparing the differences.

Thus, A-lines always give a wrong result for cancellation of queries, isn't it?

You say here that I canceled a query after about 5 minutes, and looking at the statistics of content (RowSource) I can already say the following:

    1. the estimation of cardinality of T1 is far - the optimizer estimated 100 lines, but it actually generated more than 57000 lines when the query was cancelled. If this definitely seems like a candidate at the origin of the problems

    2. the query has spent most of the time in search of random table T2

So while it is true that I don't know final A-lines of this cancelled query information, I can still say a lot of this and begin to deal with the problems identified so far.

  • Plugin for the execution of a program in a menu/button first SDK?

I would like to create a plugin to first to do something like run external application when the user performs an action (by clicking an object menu/button/etc.).

I took a quick glance, but none of the types of plugin seem to cover what I need.

Hardware integration plugins seems out of the question because, you know, material.

Transitions, video filters and GPU effects seem to be just for image editing.

    Is it possible to do?

What would be the best way to do this? A hardware controller, maybe?

    Best regards.

  • appropriate using index for the execution of the parallel statement

    Hi all

I created indexes for my table
    CREATE INDEX ZOO.rep184_med_arcdate ON ZOO.rep184_mediate(arcdate);
That was before I started thinking about the execution of the parallel statement. As far as I've heard I need to change my correct use with parallel hint index. Could you please suggest the way forward?

  • Failure of the Services of metadata for the sine qua non check to the RCU - SQL SERVER 2008

    Hello

I tried installing BI Publisher using DB in Microsoft SQL Server 2008. I already did with ORACLE DB and it went fine and smooth. But with this SQL SERVER 2008, I always face an error in when during the audit requirements in RCU. ' 'Metadata' Services ' failed. I don't know what is needed to overcome this problem and the error.

Can experts help me with this RCU configuration in SQL SERVER 2008.

    Thanks and greetings

    Hello

The problem here is that you try to use your database of P6 - which has a ranking of CI_AS (case insensitive accents)

You must create a separate database and not use your P6 for BI Publisher database (actually it is simple is not possible that the BI Publisher database requires accents case-sensitive)

When you create the new database in SQL Server, you can choose the ranking (go with the Latin 1, general CS_AS)

While we also, you will need to set the read_committed_snapshot otherwise you will get just in another problem.

After creating the BI Publisher database in SQL Server and set the correct classification, run the following query

change the value read_committed_snapshot database on

Do you think that the very next step before anything else touching the BI Publisher databases as otherwise there will be problems from the read_committed_snapshot because it requires no other access to the database (if the query takes more than 15 seconds, remove the database and start over).

  • RFP/ST install fails on SQL Compact sine qua non

I'm unable to install RFP/ST (last) on the race of E6430 that Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. It is a failure during the installation of 64-bit SQL Compact 3.5 SP2 64-bit install/VC 2012. Only problem with that is both are installed (running manual repairs as well) and, as it is supposed to be on a 64 bit system, 32-bit versions are installed properly. I tried the registry tweaks in http://www.dell.com/support/troubleshooting/us/en/19/KCS/KcsArticles/ArticleView?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&docid=644502 without help as still trying to install required components. Any help, please? I was using DDP/access and successfully removed (system reset, uninstall) by manual RFP/ST. I would like to get the latest drivers, etc., found in RFP/ST vs. DDP / A. thanks in advance.

In addition to the recommendations in the article, I added the following registry key (no value): HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\ {2EDC2FA3-1F34-34E5-9085-588C9EFD1CC6}, this enabled the facility to continue because both versions (32-bit and 64-bit) to SQL Compact 3.5 and VC ++ redistributable 2012 were already installed. RFP/ST works correctly now with biometrics works properly as well.

  • using s condition for the execution of a java script with dynamic action

I use the universal theme of apex 5 I have a form and I needed his label to be changed dynamically

I used the following code to change the name of the field.

    $('label[for="P458_COMPANY"]').html('INSTITUTE/SCHOOL/COLLEGE');

I used the loading of the page as dynamic action.

the two mvisible and mid are oracle functions. .mvisible returns a Boolean result.

And I need JavaScript to be triggered when the following function returns true...

If mvisible (mid ()) = true then

    $('label[for="P458_COMPANY"]').html('INSTITUTE/SCHOOL/COLLEGE');

    end if;

How can I get this done... In page load status?

Or should I change the java script code.

    All information must be assessed

Tell you that mvisible (mid ()) is a javasript function?

Where it is then please try this:
