SanDisk Cruzer Slice

Hello world

I hope that this will be answered quickly, because it is urgent. I bought the cruzer slice and apparently there a vault with a password. I don't have this need. I wanted to copy a 13 GB file in the main directory, but my system was told that there is insufficient space (this is a 32 GB stick, 29GB of available, it is said). I have no idea why, but I think it's maybe because the vault program (I don't know, seems the only explanation for me). Is it ok just delete everything on it, including the software? Or will it "destroy" my stick?

Thanks in advance

Davy

The problem is not the files/folders on the Cruzer rather the format of the Cruzer, which is FAT32.  FAT32 only supports files up to 4 GB in size format.

If you can break your 13 GB file into segments of 4 GB that work.  If you can't, then you will need to reformat the Cruzer to NTFS.  Formatting will scan all the files/folders currently on the device so if you want to use them at some point in the future to save them to your hard drive before formatting the Cruzer.

This fast enough for you?

    Every morning.

I recently bought a new 32 GB Cruzer Slice and it comes back with the message Sandisk Secure Access is already open, which is not. Delete or restart does not solve the problem, another thing I notice is copied a link to another drive on my computer without my permission. Sneaky, eh! Can question - I remove all the software, with the flash came and simply use it as a flash simple manual copy? Sick of it. Cannot find some way on the forums to solve these problems. Have a nice day.

  • U3 Cruzer Slice and Cruzer Blade available? (SDCZ50 / SDCZ37)

    Hello

First of all, sorry for my English, I m still to learn ;-)

We are an official distributor of Sandisk in Spain, we´ve had a few questions about the new units cruzer, slice and the blade.

Provided that we have understood Sandisk removed the all readers Oct-2009 usb U3 partition and remained as an optional choice, the question is:

Can we install the U3 technology through the Sandisk U3 installer in any unit of Sandisk Cruzer? Or is there some cruzer models who do not accept U3? We got some customers who bought the Cruzer Blade and reported that they couldn t install the U3 app.

Thanks in advance for your answer!

    MemoryVal

Older devices which were manufactured before 10/09 will always support U3 and the user can install it using the U3 Installer. devices manufactured after that 10/09 do not support U3 and it cannot be installed.

  • Oh noes! My SanDisk Cruzer has stopped working!

When I plug it, nothing happens. I tried my mother's cell phone, my laptop (on Linux AND windows) and a computer at school. The light does not illuminate and the computer behaves as if nothing is fixed. "It's an 8 GB drive that I got from BestBuy.com for $ 15 years black Friday sale, so its about 8 ~ 9 months old." What to do now?

Oh, and under windows, in Device Manager, it does not list a device malfunction series universal.

  • SanDisk Cruzer power 32 GB USB recognized as a hard drive instead of the removable storage driver.

Hi, my sandisk Cruzer power 32 GB USB key is recognized as hard disk, which appears in the section hard drives instead of the section of removable storage. I would like to know how to solve this problem. I want to create bootable USB driver.pls. ~

    I use the 32-bit Windows 7.

There is no solution, it is what it is.  However we should not prevent you to make bootable.  Search here and on Google for RMPrepUSB.  It is a utility that can make the bootable disc.

  • SanDisk cruzer 16 GB - error adding files

    Hello

I recently bought Adobe C6 and opted for download, rather than discs.  Now that I installed it on my computer, I wanted a return to the top on a Flash drive, just in case we need on the road.

I picked up a sandisk cruzer 16 GB disk because the total size of the file for the software is 11.1 GB.  I started to copy the files to the flash drive, but received an error that the file is too large.  Okay, so I went back to the USB and formatted to remove all the bloatware that was originally about it.  Judge again.  Get the same error "file too large". I can get 11 of the 12 files on the flash - file player that does not load on it the biggest one of 4.5 GB.

I deleted all the files on the flash, formatted, once again added the file problem first.  I always get the error message.

Any thoughts on how to make this work?  Screenshot below.

    Thank you.

Flash drives are formatted in FAT32 which imposes a 4 GB file size limit. You will need to re - format drive to NTFS in order to put a file greater than 4 GB on it.

  • SanDisk Cruzer power 32 GB has boring secureaccess v2

    Hi all

I have 5 Sandisk Cruzer 32 GB Force, I will use them to deploy .bin image on my company PC.

I use imageUSB by the pass mark, to create an image of USB .bin file.

The problem is, after the process is done and finished checking, no files have been written to USB, what remains is secureaccess v2 file and the exe file.

What's weird is, the first purchase, the first model of the same USB, works, no problem. I was able to deploy the image to the PC without problem after the creation of the same file .bin for sync USB.

The rest, than 4 USB ports won't do the same thing, I feel there is some friendly protection I have is in the USB port. Because the v2 secureaccess is keep returning.

However, I was able to create a Windows 7 bootable inside installation program, no problem. I used Rufus for this.

Y at - it that someone out there, ever encountered this? I need help.

    Thanks in advance.

After the USB imaging, secureaccess file and folder are returned.

I had read that as being a part of the .bin file that you write on the disc.

  • Strange! SanDisk Cruzer blade 16 GB

    Hello.

I buy a sandisk cruzer blade 16 GB a week ago. He had worked flawlessly for 2 days, but recently, I copied files of windows 7 64 bit and connect this player to a computer with windows xp. It shows usb not detected and has malfunctioned and blah blah.

I thought that there is a problem in this system, but I was shocked to see that now it is is even not detected by my pc either.

After so many tests, I tried to connect it with my keyboard usb port and it has been detected, but that the port is not 2.0 because windows ask me to connect it to a hi-speed 2.0 port.   I thought that the problem has been resolved and I format the USB and then plug it back to my pc. but same problem again and it shows device attached has malfunctioned. but when I connect with the usb port on the keyboard it works very well. However, the usb keyboard that I tied this USB is connected with my usb port on the computer.

Similarly, I connect this usb with some old marks of Dell systems model Gx optiplex 260 and it has been detected it too much and at the same time not detected by any other pc that stood out...

Why is this usb detected now only by the usb ports on my keyboard and not by my pc as it was earlier detected by my pc.

I tried several solution but nothing works even with kaspersky scanner last definition.

Is there a solution to this problem. I want to connect this usb to my pc 2.0 ports.

I have intel DH55TC Board with Intel I3 processor of first generation.

    First of all thank you.

In fact, the usb is defective and I had replaced.

and Ed if it is the question of power, then how can it be connected to the usb port on my keyboard that eventually connected to the same usb port of the usb to my pc and alternated readers like Kingston and Sony are working well in this port.

Any ways thanks to you guys for the suggestion.

  • SanDisk Cruzer Edge files

[I saw a thread for this already, so apologies if this is a repeat].

I was recently bought a key of USB SanDisk Cruzer Edge, and to use it on the computer the first time, I saw a bunch of files already on it. I've included screenshots of them [,[x],[x][x]], and the question I'm really after a response to is - is - it safe to delete them?

I want especially to the idea of keeping a bunch of files that I won't always open on my memory stick, but I don't want to really not to take the risk and assume that they are unnecessary and remove them, only to find out I missed something big time. I have never experienced this with other brands of memory sticks, they were always completely empty at the time of purchase, but it's my first SanDisk one. My roommate has the same brand and she too had a bunch of files already on this subject at the time of purchase, but she has not taken the trouble to remove, so I'm not the wiser about the importance that they are

"is it safe to delete them?

    Yes.

If you want to be very careful copy on your drive hard and in 6 months or so decide to try copy them the.

  • SanDisk Cruzer 4 GB Flash Drive deleted files

I deleted some files on my SanDisk Cruzer 4 GB Flash Drive on a laptop computer that I used to have, now I use a different laptop and I was wondering if there is any way I can get the files I deleted back?

    Thank you!

Sure.  Use an application of recovery such as PhotoRec, totally free; to download, use and to recover.  A lot of other 'free' support during the final phase.

  • Cruzer slice 16 gb flash drive

Hi, I havce just bought a sandisk cruzer 16 gb flash drive. I went to the to use for the first time and wanted to pass a file is about 4 GB in size. When I tried to do that it came with the destination disk is full. Can someone tell me why she said this when he has 16 gb free, so 4 GB must ExacTen on?

    a few things here.

first the player you have a u3? and if yes there are 2 partitions. a u3 system and the other will be a removable disk. u3 system partition is a partition protected cdrom and data cannot be written for her. You must copy your files to the removable partition.

I also noticed that you said that the record is almost 4 GB. is that one or more files? If a single file, you have to reformat it to NTFS to copy files of 4 GB or more. This is a limitation of the FAT32 file system.

  • "" Switch USB SanDisk Cruzer 4 GB not format error "Windows could not format.

    Hello

Try to format it in Windows Disk Manager.

    See the following steps:

    a. open computer management by clicking the Start button, click on the Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, clicking Administrative Tools, and then double-click computer management. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    (b) in the Navigation pane, click Disk Management.

    c. right click on the partition or drive that you want to format and then click on format.
