Sansa locked Clip

When I tried to play my video, I noticed the icon on the screen locked.  I have never use the locking function and tried several times to unlock it.  I am unable to do anything except turn it off.  Y at - it solution or a way to restore it to its original state?  I have already prepared an update several times.

It formatait?  You said you tried.  Format your pc.  What is a clip or clip + also?

  • Video to audio track locking clip?

I have a bunch of video clips in my sequence. A couple of clips, I want to some points of the audio track and I don't want to move them but when I ripple delete video clips in front of them it travel clips from back (moving them away from the same spot on the audio track). Is it possible to lock a video clip for a certain part of the audio?

I tried to "reunification", the music video and audio, but it doesn't seem to work as video clips still move.

You cannot lock a clip, a single track.  Move the clips you want onto a higher track and that locks.

  • Y at - it a command to 'lock' clips to prevent them from accidentally move on a frame or two when moving to another track? (i.e. 'shift' in Avid?)

When I edit a show, I will of course wind up with 3-4 channels of video at my rough cut stage. But then, for the final cuts, I always need to move all that there is only 1 video track. I have to do this, just select and drag down clips and cross my fingers that the arrows 'snap' is accurate and that's not really breaking a clip at random a few images. (Sometimes there will be a random audio clip on track 12 Let's say what happens to have a cut off images that first decides she wants to align, which leaves me with flash Gogo images unless I zoomed down to each clip... that is annoyingly time!) For example, in Avid, you can hold the 'shift' button you move clips up and down any number of tracks. This is particularly useful when you do a half hour or hour long show and you can just select any given track and then hold SHIFT and probably know that they are all moved down perfectly and not accidentally moved on any amount of images. Sorry for the explanation too, just can't think of how real this feature is called!

I don't think there is, you can put in a request to feature here:

    https://www.Adobe.com/cfusion/mmForm/index.cfm?name=wishform

However, as an alternative, you can select the clip and then move vertically only (up and down tracks) the option of keyboard command top or option + down arrow.

  • Charger for Sansa Clip Zip?

I want to use my Sansa Zip clips as a component of my stereo.  Is there a product that keep the Zip Clip, load it and at the same time allow it to play music in stereo system?

That Clip Zip only uses a 8.Lorsque micro-USB plug, there is no possible/available docking station. However, you can use it via a cable connector that specializes in port AUX in to your stereo to play through your stereo speakers. It will not charge.

  • Sansa Clip freezes at startup and on the firmware update

After unplugging my video to my computer, it is hung on the screen "Connected".

I forced a reset by pressing the power switch it 10 seconds

He then restarted and hung on the Sansa screen

I followed the instructions given in these forums in order to download the update of the firmware, mount the Clip in MSC mode and install the firmware.  Unplug the Clip, it hangs at "Update Firmware in progress" screen.

I then re-mounted the Clip in MSC mode and deleted all the files of music and the update of the firmware.  After disconnection, he hooked again on the Sansa screen.  I then mounted in MSC mode and re-installed the update of the firmware.  He is now suspended again at the screen to update the firmware.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

The following procedure restored the Clip, but requires access to a Windows operating system:

    1. Tower Mounting Clip in MSC mode off camera (now switch is in position 10 sec If necessary 'on'). Set the switch to position 'Hold '. While pressing the "Select" Center, plug it into the USB port on a Windows computer. Wait for Windows to recognize the device before you release the "Select" button

    2. format of the Clip Double click on 'My Computer' to open a window of the Explorer. You should now see the video listed as a reader. Right click on the video player icon and select "Format". Select "FAT32". Do not check the box "quick format". Format the drive.

    3. Finish you can now disconnect the Clip of the computer and it should behave as a Clip of the new out-of-the-box. If you wish, you can download Sansa Updater software from the web site of Sansa (Sansa > support > Clip > downloadsansa Firmware Updater) and run it to install the latest version of the firmware on your device.

  • The position of the clip support keyboard B575 - need help, please

I lived an intermittent problem with some of the key - sometimes they work and other times I have to press several times so that it can work. I thought it would be a loose keyboard connector so I opened and removed the Ribbon of the connector by gently lifting the retainer clip until he published. I reinstalled the Ribbon connector and tried to get retainer clip back on. He won't and I worked at home all day. The clip has a small protrusion at each end and I tried different directions - no luck. Can you tell me or show me with images the correct procedure for the locking of the water of the keyboard on the main map. It's driving me crazy and the maintenance manual does not show how it should be done. The clip is not in place before inserting the Ribbon? Please help and thank you very much.

    Hi dbw001lc,

Welcome to the Community Forums of Lenovo!

There are two types of lock I've seen so far for slick keyboard,

    1.

    2.

To unlock fig.1 is pulling up then that is when you insert the cable, and then pull down to lock

Fig. 2 Unlock is when you lift the top then keyboard then close.

You can try unlock code and locking Clips when there is no cable yet, which is to check if there is a problem with the retaining clip because it must open and close properly with problems with any cable.

    Hope this helps,

    Cheers!

  • Belt clip - good quality out there?

So I tried to find a belt for my Sansa Fuze clip.  I'd want one that can cut right in my pants without having to wear a belt.  I saw one on Amazon, but a user review has indicated that it does not take very well unless you are actually hooking it to a belt.

Does anyone have an experience with a belt clip that holds closely on sweat pants, when running?  I currently use a cuff, but it gives me a goofy tanline.

    Thank you!

I use velcro - on a square of 1 1/2 in. aft of the "rocket" and the side non-clip of the E5.  Velcro overall it is pretty sturdy - it takes a good enough to pull apart tug.

  • Questions about all your MP3 players, because I want to buy a Sandisk, but that

    Hello

I'm French so sorry for my English, and I didn't know where to post my message. I hope this is the best place for it on the forum.
My Sansa Clip + is under warranty, and I'm getting a bad contact with the output jack. I think I'm going to replace my drive soon and I want an MP3 of Sandisk player.

    I was wondering:

    (1) what is the difference between the Sansa Clip and Sansa Clip +? The ability to insert the SD card?
    (2) why Sansa Clip + 4 GB is more expensive than the Sansa Clip + 8 GB? OO.
    (3) I saw today that I can install software such as Rockbox on my MP3 player. If I install Rockbox, I keep the warranty?
    (4) why buy a Clip of Sansa Jam rather than a Sansa Clip + or Sansa clip sport? Or, what is the difference between all your MP3 players (Sansa clip, Sansa clip +, jam Sansa, Sansa sport clip, Sansa Fuze, Sansa clip zip)?

It is important, because I have to make a choice

    (1) lock and SD card pass instead of the screen lock button.

    (2) the prices are pretty random since players have not been made over the years now.

    (3) probably not, but assuming that you uninstall I doubt it's important.

    (4) the jam/sports are kind of terrible in general, although the battery life is better, at least without rockbox on older players.

    I sent for a 512.

When I opened the computer, I had one finds it, more an another slot has been filled.  I then installed the 512 I sent and start the computer to the top.

Trying to figure out how to get the computer to learn about new 512 RAM and wonder others there who Crucial has not detected.

When I inserted the new 512 RAM, it locks in place with the locking clips.

    Can someone help me?

I'm not looking for the posting of B4 of the problem.  Found a question, but no one did not answer.

    Thank you

    Excellent news.  You are welcome.

The fact that the RAM is from different companies is not as important as the question of whether all the modules are of the same type.  Apparently they are.  I suspect that the module in the second location was not sitting correctly, and that this caused the BIOS (which is what first looks for material) to stop searching for RAM, after acknowledging the first location.

When you took them out and put them back in, you did it correctly, and now all of the RAM is recognized.

FYI, if you look at the address of the 'web' page you have included, you'll see that it starts with file:/// instead of the usual http://.  The "file" followed by a colon and 3 slashes indicates that it is a local file.  The rest of the name indicates that the file is in a directory named "New folder" that you created in your 'My Documents' folder.

You must be very happy that no one else can see that 'web page' on the Internet... because if they could see this file, they could also see everything on your computer.

  • Can Rhapsody - you create libraries of Rhapsody TWO DISTINCTS?

    Here's my question:

It is possible to create TWO separate libraries of the song uses the Rhapsody software?

I have two Clips of 8 GB Sansa:

Clip: I would like to download my entire song library a Clip.

For Clip b: I would like to download a collection of "Best Of" (only pieces of the library) to Clip B.

What is the best way to do it, if it is at all possible?

Right now, I do it manually.  Download the entire library (to Clip A) are no problem.  But for my "Best Of" (on Clip (B) collection, I pick up the pieces one by one and upload them to Clip B.

Doing so once isn't so bad, but if I do it more than once, it is a REAL pain - I have over 500 songs in my library of Rhapsody.  The Clip with my 'Best of' collection (Clip (B) recently froze and I'm going to have to reformat.  If this continues to be, I don't want to have to choose 500 songs every time - I want to set up a 'Best of' separate library so that I could just download the library without going through the process of picking the song every time.

I was thinking about copying the MP3s of the song complete library in a separate folder, and then delete the songs I don't want so that I can create my "Best of" collection  But if I do this, how to link the new folder to the library of Rhapsody?  And wouldn't I lose all the information of the song on the Genre, artist, Album title, etc., which had been found when I downloaded the songs in my library of Rhapsody?

I'd appreciate any help on how to implement two libraries to Rhapsody, since it could save me hours of work.  FYI, the 'Best Of' collection is for my son: I would not be torturing myself like this if it was just for me!

    Thank you!

  • I need to replace the rocket. Recommendations?

My wife took my 4 GB Fuze with 8 GB memory card. She needed one and the color was right (Pink). My need is straight music, no video or audio book. Sound quality is the most important factor for me. The market has changed a few months back, I bought the "rocket"? Or is Fuze still the best bang for the money? Thank you.

    FlyingsCool wrote:

My comment is that the only suggestion of getting another rocket was a clip.  It may be that the "rocket" is the best (it seems according to my research), but I was wondering what people thought of other available players.

If the priority is for a player centric music with high sound quality, it is not that many choices:

    • Sony recent Middle to high-end players - expensive, but nice.  Build quality is pretty much the best.  Stable FW and very nice user interface, but you will never see an improvement or new feature.  Accessories are really expensive.
    • Cowon iAudio 6/7 - before the last Sony and Sansa was virtually the only game in town for audio quality.  Beautiful material and great codec support, but Cowon has struggled with the FW.  The D2 also has excellent sound quality, but it is more than a true PMP (great video, touch screen, etc.), so it's really in a different category.
    • Sansa Fuze/Clip - sound quality as good as any on the market.  Incredible value and a lot of features.  Build quality not as high as others, but still above the average for the market in general.  A big plus is that all features work mode MTP or MSC (except DRM, of course).  Most of the other players are either MTP only, or have a paralyzed MSC mode (i.e. Cowon requires PSG for the playlists).  Apart from the quality of the sound, the fully functional mode of MSC has been a selling point for me.

From the point of view of value, the Clip and the rocket are virtually untouchable.  Great SQ, features, great price.  It is not perfect, but none of them are.

For other priorities (video, games, wireless, etc.), there are plenty of other choices.  But for a high quality music player, the clamp and the rocket are hard to beat.

  • Completely insensitive Sansa Clip

I just bought a Sansa Clip 8 gb yesterday, and today I finally had the time and access to put the music on it. I installed Windows Media Player 11, sync my music, made sure it was fully charged and decided to go out for a run. I listened to a song repeatedly (he played throughout many times so far) when it suddenly stopped playing mid-song after about forty minutes. The menu screen do not appear, key does not turn on and I can not reset regardless of how long I hold it in the "high" position. If I connect it to my computer, it is not read (nothing appears on my computer)... in one of the USB ports. It is not read on another Windows XP computer in the House, either. I tried to install the update for Sansa, but it will not install as the Clip isn't well of my computer. I tried to hold the power button for 20 seconds, locking and pressing the main select button while inserting the USB cable and nothing helped. Curiously, it is still running as far as I can tell because when you plug / unplug the headphones you can hear the "flying" static, you would do an audio device in use. I can't return or Exchange it at Wal-Mart because I left the front desk in another State, and I'd really prefer not to send to the manufacturer at my own expense given their promise to offer a «free of defects of design» product If someone could help me troubleshoot my way in a working mp3 player, I would really appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

I waited for Wal-Mart finish digging through their recipes to find the mine, and you know... after 60 hours of idleness, the Clip has decided to finally die. I could load after this and update the firmware. Should work fine now. I'll probably still pick up the receipt just in case.

  • SanDisk Sansa Clip + 4 GB MP3 player with FM Radio

    Hello-

My new sansa clip + out of the box and I'm not able to do Radio FM works.  Battery is charged.  All I get on screen is a set of headphones and the 'music '.  I do not expect to play music because I have not yet loaded, but I expect to be able to get FM radio but can't seem to get there.  Any suggestions on how I have to happen?  Thank you.

Please note that I do not see a menu of items to select from the MP3 player.  I do not see a "lock" or "unlock".

My computer recognizes the drive as a new piece of hardware.

The reader does not recognize the software on the CD when I put the CD in the computer.

The player does not allow me to make the software what I t hink is the "root directory" for the player.  I guess tha the directory "root" is the "Sansa Clip + 4 GB" or the "internal memory".  It allows me to copy in one of these.   Appears as:

    + The Sansa Clip + 4 GB

    -Internal memory

    + Albums

    + Audio books

    + Music

    + Playlists

    + Podcasts

    + Records

    + Service

My D drive that reads the CD has these files it contains:

Autorun.inf and sansa - install .exe and one other file that reads:

fscommand with these files it contains: dloadrhap.exe, dloadrhap.txt, proxy.bat, proxy.exe

If I do not have need of these, please let me know.  I don't want to stuff more then I need to run the player.

I'm assuming that I need only the files autorun.inf and the sansa - install .exe.

I do not understand what is Rhapsody or why I need.

    Thank you.

    Bonnie

Now, don't laugh at this suggestion, but: when you get the player, there is a transparent plastic sticker that was placed on the screen of the player, which has a screen simulation showing the items that describe you see on your screen - have - you, you take off the sticker? (It generally is a small tab on the right side of the tile to help with that.) Once you do this, the player I hope will begin to operate as expected. On the CD, you don't need at all! The CD is required to use the separate music Rhapsody and optional subscription service (for which you pay every month, after a free trial, usually). If you do not want the service, go to the CD. Finally, you should check and see if your drive is the latest firmware - look under settings to the player and to compare this version number firmware recent listed in the upgrade thread Firmnware sticky at the top of this forum. If the thread here has a more recent version of firrmware, recommended that you upgrade to it-, it is very easy to do. I hope this helps!
