  I have Toshiba Satellite A300-17N. Yesterday, I noticed that my CPU does not change its multiplier under load.
  I have used programs like premium 95 and Orthos CPU load and programs such as CPU - Z and Everest.

  Under load the multiplier should change its value to 13, but it didn't happen.

  Satellite A300-17N doesn t have serial port and AFAIK no Satellite A300 was equipped with this port.

  But I saw a few online shops, they listed an Express card that offers the serial port (RS232). I found one on Amazon:

  I think it would be easier and less expensive way for serial port. :)

  Have you installed another operating system or changed something on the installation of the software? You have any idea why FN + F6/F7 don t work anymore?

  All FN keys on your computer are controlled by value added and Flash Cards Support utility package. So in your case I would recommend reinstall both applications. They can be downloaded on the official page of Toshiba for free:

  So please first select the right laptop series until you start to download the XP drivers.
