In downloads is available just for xp, vista 32-bit and 64-bit driver (I tried with the same results). Webcam app windows startup and gives me a msg of error that I have to reinstall or install new drivers of webcam. Webcam works for example. buth Skype with (very) poor quality.

  I tried to find wich cam comes (chicony?) also but nothing.

  Does Enyone else has experienced this problem and how to resolve? Help, please...

  As far as I know that you can also use the Satellite A500 webcam driver because it s equipped of webcam Chicony too.

  So take a look for A500 downloads. There, you can find Windows 7 driver for webcam that should work on your model too.

  Afternoon, I have a Satellite L755D-10U and want to restore the factory settings.
  I tried to create a recovery disk using the recovery disk creator but I got two errors.

  One is in "all programs, toshiba, then recovery disc creator" and shows an error of missing shortcut of TRMCLcher.exe.

  The other by the bias of my taskbar and said "No HDD Recovery Area". The recovery partition is still in my D: to 12.5 GB in size.

  I have not yet tried the power down and zero route again as I would like to know if restoring to factory settings will erase all data on my Partition D. I got all my University stuff on atm here and even if I can save to another drive also I want to know if it will erase the data on the disks.

  I installed Win XP on my laptop as well.
  Now, I m using Vista and Win XP but I will get rid of Vista because I love Win 7 :)

  How I did it:
  I created a new partition using Vista. In disk management, you can shrink a partition and the free space can be used for the new partition.
  Then I created a Win XP with SATA drivers (I used nLite) and installed Win XP on the free partition.
  Then I could start only Win XP, but I wasn't able to boot Vista because vista boot manager has been damaged by Win XP.

  Well, I took the disc Win Vista (not recovery disc but original! MS Vista disc) and booted from the disc. The Vista disc repaired the Boot Manager and I was able to boot to Vista, but Win XP option wasn't there :(

  I searched a bit and found a free tool called EasyBCD. I installed this tool in Vista OS and this tool is useful for creating an of Win XP in Vista Manager boot entry.

  So finally I could use the Vista Boot Manager and this feeder start contains Vista and Win XP.

  Well, for me it looks like you didn't uninstall the old display driver software. Before installing a newer version, you still need to delete the old version. So go in Control Panel > software. Select ATI display driver software and remove it. After restarting the laptop, you must clean the Windows system using CCleaner (Google is your friend to find it).   I never had this problem on my Satellite A300, but this happens only in sleep or hibernation mode too?

  It's really hard to say why this happens but make sure that you have installed all the software fixes for Vista and maybe you should try to reinstall Vista using Toshiba recovery disc. Maybe an application of part 3 is originally this gel.
