Satellite C - password requested

Hi people.

I just turned on my new laptop for the first time and a page came up with a logo to toshiba asking me to specify a password. I'm a little helpless as to what to do next?

Any ideas on that?

Hey,.

I guess you don t know what password exactly because there are different passwords (BIOS, HARD drive, etc.), but normally on a new laptop you shouldn't t invited to enter a password so I think something wrong with your laptop

In your case I return the laptop and take a new one because on the new laptops are usually no passwords set.

Don t know why it happened but I'm sure it shouldn't t be a problem to exchange it ;)

  • Satellite P200 BIOS password request

    Hi all

My Satellite P200 worked perfectly under Vista but I need to install XP for some applications to work.
I followed the instructions Toshiba installed upgrading necessary BIOS and now for some reason any my cell phone requests a password to the power upward.

I never put a password, am not aware of everything.

As I said never come before, after the update of the bios.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Matt

I have no idea why the password has been set after BIOS update, but I know that a BIOS password cannot be rid of the Toshiba laptop without additional assistance from EPA.

So, if it's a BIOS password, then you really must ask ASP for the removal of the password

  • Satellite Pro A100 request BIOS password which was never put

    Hiya

Have had my Satellite Pro A100 for almost 2 years and that all this time have never even heard of a password system, but all of a sudden, I turned on the laptop this morning and it does not load. I tried pressing F12 (can't remember why, it seemed the thing to do to read the instructions at the bottom of the screen), but nothing happened so I just turned off the power. Put on again, he asked the system password. (A black screen with a blue box, with the old text base BACK type fonts).

I have no idea what it could be, I tried the word system and tried just pressing on enter without text in there but it says incorrect password. I removed the battery and left 10 hours but put it back in the machine there is no difference, it will not always go through this screen.

I am the only user on this machine, have no idea what caused it. I am aware of security, have installed on complete McAfee AV and did not have anything odd happen at all. Didn't last changes made to the configuration, no new software etc. so I have no idea what prompted it.

    Can anyone help please?

    Thanks in advance
    Rachel

This password seems to be a BIOS password, but I have no idea why this password is displayed if you have never defined it.
Unfortunately, there is not a lot to see the BIOS password can be removed without the help of an ASP.

Then, contact the service provider allowed in your country and request removal of the password.

I also recommend updating the BIOS after the technician removed the password.

Do you know how to find the ASP closest?

Can someone help me backdoor password?
My laptop is Satellite U205 - s5002.if someone has same laptop with me.

Please, help me to solve this problem.

    Hello

The problem is that the BIOS password can be removed without the help of ASP (authorized service provider)
It of strange that you don't know the BIOS password
The password should t appear generally if you didn t he put in the BIOS

However, the point is that only the ASP can remove the password and as a result, you can get help from ASP.

  • Satellite A100 BIOS password request

I did a disk check on my Satellite A100, but after the control of what my system is in place with the message "Password".
There is no password set for the system.
    What should I do?

    Pleas help.

I agree with Akuma, but I don t understand why Notepad starts with a password prompt.

What did you do when you said I did a disk check? Have you done a Windows checkdisk?

However, an ASP (authorized service provider) can remove the password. You can search on the Toshiba site to find an ASP.

I have download Office updates before shutting down then last night, I don't know if this is relevant.

    Hello

Do you mean this password it resembles a BIOS password?
It's very strange and not understandable to me.

If it is a BIOS password, then you will need to contact the ASP in your country for deleting and updating the BIOS.

I think you need to contact the ASP as soon as possible and should explain your problem.

    Good luck

    Hello

It seems strange that you are asked to enter the password. I suggest you find a software like Windows.Key.Enterprise.v9.3.Build.815.Bootable.CD or Ophcrack LiveCD and try to crack the password.

  • Satellite L450D-11V - request password on first use

My parents bought their first computer - L450D-11V.

He started upward, but asked for a password. Helpline of the retailer was no use for them, so they phoned obedient daughter (me). I downloaded the manual, but it simply follow the instructions on the screen.

Anyone who bought this model recently can tell me how to go beyond that?

    Hi mate,

    What password you mean exactly?
    The password of the BIOS?
    The HARD drive password?
    The Windows password?

Are you sure that you don't l t set or another?

Anyway, normally a password should t be resolved on first use. You can contact a service provider authorized in your country. Guys come off well each password.

  • Satellite P300-1 has 8 - password requests when you turn

    Hello

I bought a P300 Carphone Warehouse for years as my first laptop, but because I am not versed in computer things, I thought that he had broken causing buy me a new acer laptop.

Yesterday, I found the laptop and tried to put on with a spare magazine and discovered that it was not the laptop, which was broken, but the actual charger wire has been damaged, so it worked yesterday but when I tried to turn it on this morning he asked me a password to 8 digits in a blue box.

After 3 incorrect ones, it would be closed.
A friend told me that it is a bios password and I was hoping if anyone knows the password because I threw away the manual who died in 2007.

    Thank you in advance!

BIOS password is the individual password and not a standard password that you can find in manuals s or any other official document.
Someone put this password and the laptop is now locked.
All you can do is check the Toshiba authorized service provider and allow them to remove this password.
