  In any case, I think you should try to install the latest driver from the Toshiba site:

  But for example Satellite Pro M70-110 has a PCMCIA Type II slot.
  You can use the different PCMICA card in this slot. But they must be compatible.
  I guess this slot machine, you found a plastic Board. This is only for security.

  My utility to update version 1.x Tempro on Vista was working fine, until I did the Tempro v2.2 upgrade and now it is stuck: it says "waiting for confidentiality to be accepted. I click on 'View and accept' and a new privacy policy Tempro window opens and I click on accept
  Then a DOS window opens - TemproLanucher.exe - but it just gets stuck it (white) and will eventually close to return to the first screen "in expectation of confidentiality is agreed" again.

  No, because the HARD disk should be formatted during the recovery process.

  On the D partition, you can find the files and folder from HARD drive recovery. HARD disk recovery allows you to recover the laptop HARD drive and in this case, you don't need the recovery disc

  I can t imagine that the Satellite L300D recovery disc will work on Satellite L300. The hardware platform is different, because a single machine is equipped with Intel CPU and the other with AMD processor, so there's a big difference.

  As I see it, * Toshiba Hdd recovery * does not solve your problem. You checked with the other memory, but it always freeze. so, I guess that a hard drive can be a troublemaker. If your laptop is still under warranty, you should contact them (SAV)
