Satellite L300 - no option in the advanced startup options safe mode
Hi all
Can anyone help me to lift this toshiba Satellite and running for my sister inlaw, I currently have a model L300-149 PSLBOE (Windows Vista) here are the questions.
1 once turned on and boots the screen goes to the boot with the following result Manager
File: \Boot\BCD
Status: 0xc00000e9
Info an unexpected i/o error has occurred
2. If I power cycle and hold / press F8 the screen won't take me in the advanced options for me to start in safe mode
Hello
This looks like a Windows problem. It seems that your Windows installation is muddled up and you need to reinstall the operating system.
If you cannot access the start menu advanced in the t, you must take the Toshiba Recovery disk to restore to factory settings. Boot from that disk and follow the instructions on the screen everything that s and easy to use.
In addition the recovery disk will delete everything on HARD drive for backup files important first. ;)

After standby mode Satellite L300 cannot connect to the internet
Hello
I have problems with my Satellite L300, if I put the laptop to sleep it disconnects from the internet and when I try to continue later, he said that there are no wireless networks.
The only way I can connect again is to restart my laptop. Can someone help me please?Thank you
Hello!
I have a Satellite L300 too but I can t view such a question because I often use the Hibernate and the day before.
In any case, I think you should try to install the latest driver from the Toshiba site:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download driversBut before installing the new version, you must delete the old first and then reboot the laptop. After that, you can install the latest version.
And if it doesn't work, you must update the BIOS that you can find on the Toshiba site too.Good bye

Won't start at all. just a black screen. Only the satrts upward on safe mode
Won't start at all. just a black screen. Only the satrts upward on safe mode
Restore point:
Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.
Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...
Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.
ISO Burner: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.
See you soon.
Hello there is a problem with this laptop, the work of keyboard in the bios and in safe mode and during my convalescence... but it does not work in normal mode. (F12 wifi light is white)
Thank you very much
model: 15-r203nv rev: 2213-120 products: L0E81EA #AB7
Hello
The fact that it does not work with a clean install starts to point to some kind of hardware problem, although it is strange that he will run in Mode without failure.
Click with the right button on the taskbar, select Manager tasks, click the Startup tab - right click on each entry in turn and select Disable. Once completed, restart the computer and see if there is no change.
An update of the bios (F.39 Rev.A) is also available on the Product Page , which can be useful if you have not already done it - if you decide to apply, make sure you unplug all the devices (including the usb keyboard) before starting the update.
Kind regards
Original title: battery
When the battery dies on Windows 7 Home premium, what makes the look of the laptop screen as to everyone with the same computer? (IE black, dim and then black, dim and white and then black, Sun & blue, etc.)
And you always get the "Windows did not shut down correctly, please choose an option (safe mode, safe mode with network, start windows normally)" Note?It could be a hardware problem, so it is best to contact DELL or a local technician if the problem persists.
As a work around, I suggest to update the drivers of the computer display and check if it makes a difference.
Download the drivers from http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/Product/latitude-e6410
Hello Tensa_Zangetsu,
Do you know what the exact when stop code it bluescreens?
I was curious as to whether or not we can boot to Safe Mode command prompt only.
If so, we can run the following command followed by the Enter key:
CHKDSK C: /f
This, until we do not get errors from her and then try to restart in Normal mode.
If the Safe Mode command prompt only does not work, we can start the recovery console and run the same command:
My PC is infected with Vista Antivirus 2012. He keeps me get on the internet, so I can't use malwarebytes or antispywaredoctor because I can't go on the web, even in safe mode. Any help, please. How can I get rid of it when I can't get on the web?
Try using the Standalone System Sweeper http://connect.microsoft.com/systemsweeper
You download it on another computer and copy on a DVD drive or USB key. You can then do a scan without starting Windows.
There is a list of CD received by other vendors antivirus here:
Unable to connect to the internet, except in safe mode
I worked with the cable co and co wireless router and they said that I must have some settings on my computer that let me access the internet unless in safe mode. It seemed to have happened right after that I tried to hang a new wireless router. Once I followed the steps for the wireless router, I got a message that there is no internet connection. I know that the modem works, because I can hard wire on my laptop and log in safe mode with network and be well. There must be a setting that I did not find, but which must be modified to allow access to the internet the way "normal". Anyone have any ideas?
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html
to boot from the dvd drive to be able to you will see a way to get into the bios Setup at the bottom of the screen or command menu start
It would be F2 or delete etc to enter the BIOS or F12 etc. for the start menu
Change boot order it do dvd drive 1st in the boot order
and if all else fails and you need to reinstall vista are the normal methods for computers preinstalled vista portable
Contact the computer manufacturer and ask them to send vista recovery discs
they do it for a nominal cost of $
also ask them if you have a recovery partition on your hard drive to get back to the way you bought
you would normally press F10 or F11 or Alt + F10, 0 at startup to start the recovery process according to the manufacturer
Ask them of the exact key sequence
Satellite L300. Observation on the issues cover the recovery of Vista on a new HARD drive
Hi all
I need to reinstall Vista (on a Toshiba Satellite L300) runs the "recovery disc" created by Toshiba disc creator before recovery and using a disc of "nine" (Toshiba MK2035GSS, 200 GB).
Issues related to the:
(1) I have to partition and format the new drive before starting with recovery disks / DVD (s).
or which will be done through the recovery process?(2) what is the reason for which the current disc is divided into two size equal C: and D: partitions, while
D: partition seems to be reservered for the system, but only 5 GB are used?(3) what is the purpose of the partition 3. ("inactive") with about 1.5 GB of space?
Thanks in advance for your support and help!
Whalter
> 1) I have to partition and format the new drive before starting with recovery disks / DVD (s).
or which will be done through the recovery process?
No, because the HARD disk should be formatted during the recovery process.(> 2) what is the reason for which the current disc is divided into two size equal partitions C: and D:, while
D: partition seems to be reservered for the system, but only 5 GB are used?
On the D partition, you can find the files and folder from HARD drive recovery. HARD disk recovery allows you to recover the laptop HARD drive and in this case, you don't need the recovery disc(> 3) what is the purpose of the partition 3. ("inactive") with about 1.5 GB of space?
It is a Vista partition and is necessary for the backup files. Vista is able to repair the operating system if something bad is going to do this the necessary files that are stored on this partition. -
Can satellite L300-1AQ - I use the L300D recovery disk?
My son has a Satellite L300-1AQ equipped of vista. All of a sudden will load is more the laptop and automatic repair options fails too. There is a blue screen that appears, but only for a second when I try the repair option - then the laptop stops. We have no recovery disks.
Also, I have a laptop Satellite L300D-13 s that works well and suppose I could get a drive recovery- but prob diff drivers etc.
Can someone advise me how best to my sons laptop (Im not concerned about retrieving data as all saved already), but do not want to return to the factory settings including Vista. Do not know if using a laptop recovery disk is an option - instinctively is not as ever as simple as that.
All advice welcome please.
Hi mate,
I can t imagine that the Satellite L300D recovery disc will work on Satellite L300. The hardware platform is different, because a single machine is equipped with Intel CPU and the other with AMD processor, so there's a big difference.
In addition, in the worst case, it could be a hardware problem and in this case the recovery disk does not work
What can you do now? I think you have to options: either you install Vista from a disk of Microsoft or order you a Toshiba Recovery disk: https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx
After installing the Microsoft disc, you can download all the drivers on the Toshiba site. Then you will also get back to factory settings, but it takes more time in the recovery disk because it contains an image which already all the drivers and tools are included/installed.
I hope I could help a bit. :)
