Satellite L350-262 - Startup Repair screen displays
Can anyone help?
I had a L350-262 only 2 days. Already, I've had the Startup Repair screen appears showing there is a problem and Windows will not work. When the system try to automatically repair it says that Windows cannot automatically repair.
I have watched the tests diagnostic and repair details and the cause of found root shows that Startup Repair tried several times but still cannot determine the cause of the problem. Last night, I'm sure it says registry is corrupt, but I don't see something like that today? When I go to the advanced options for system recovery and support, I select UK as my keyboard entry method. He said then I must connect to access the system recovery options, and if I have problems logging in to contact the administrator of the computer. I can't seem to login screen if this proves difficult.
If anyone has had similar problems and if so how did you get the problem solved?

Your ad is somehow a bit confusing and not detailed. You want to say that this startup screen suddenly appears and you didn't change anything on the hardware or software?
What happens if you try to start in safe mode? Is this possible?
To be honest right now I think that it s time to reinstall Windows if Windows peut t solve the problem itself.

I'm afraid, if the disk HARD is not recognized in the BIOS, that means HARD drive failure and you will not be able to recover it with the help and recovery disk or using recovery disc HARD m.
It s really strange that a HARD drive is dead at first, but what looks like a bad luck, this can happen, because it s a machineUsually the HARD drive is under warranty as the entire notebook then you can request a hotfix and warranty would cover everything

I get startup repair screen when I try to boot my laptop Dell Inspiron windows 7, I run the scan and detects any errors. So, I tried to use a USB repair for a laptop Dell Latitude Windows 7 pro and I still can't the computer to start. Tried to restore to the factory settings, can not. I have no image, backups, all missing, restore points?
After that I tried to launch the USB repair I got 0x400110020000100A error code and I received error (0x8007027E) indicating the device will not start without a reboot.
Anyone know how to fix this?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm not computer illiterate, but am not pro either. Just use them not program them or even understand all languages!

I'm about to rip the hair off my head with my laptop. My latitude was blue planned, surprisingly I fixed it (don't ask how, you couldn't tell). Then my dell inspiron would not start right after my dell latitude fell out of my truck and landed on the sidewalk, wanted to kill the person, the screen is broken. I can use it but it is very difficult, see a mosquito net and not perfectly clear, works well. lol someone knows somewhere or that would install a new screen for a reasonable price? I live in the Boston area.

Note: Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the hard drive, it attempts to repair this sector, if all available on which data may be lost.

Satellite L350D - crashes on startup repair screen
Laptop Toshiba L350D my GF had a funny turn and was served on the screen of the tool to RESTART SYSTEM a few days now.
I doing nothing it can make this screen, I F8 would be up to my bleeding fingers, when to choose anything safe mode the display returns to the STARTUP REPAIR and do its thing.
It will not start and crashes right on the screen of the Startup Repair tool.
I don't have a recovery disc Toshiba, what can I do?

Well I think that if you are not able to go into the advanced boot menu (F8) and so if you can start t HARD drive recovery works you have the Toshiba recovery disc.
As I see you don t have it and if you order a disk Toshiba directly:

I was asked to look at the Satellite L650 laptop for a friend because they could not get going.
Not sure they did before me do yesterday, as far as I know, it's that they couldn't turn it on. I wanted to get into Safe Mode, but it went to the Startup Repair Mode and is stuck in this at all times.It is currently running Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.

Satellite L350 - D 215 black screen with blinking cursor
Satellite L350-D 215 black with cursor flashing screen - it worked fine said he had to restart and that's what happened, I can't in windows allows any single me in bios and Boot Manager.

I tried the fix when you remove the battery and press the power button to 30 seconds doesn't not work, also tried leaving a few hours without battery and tried plugging in to power same, toshiba screen and only boot in the bios etc usually let HDD boot in windows only in black screen and blinking cursor.
Any help much appreciated. I saw the restoration of disks for £9.95 on a Web site for the machine so don't know what to do... totally empty.

Blinking cursor means that the Windows OS can not be loaded / booted up.
You need to reinstall new OS.If you have a Microsoft windows CD you can use this disk to reinstall the operating system. The necessary drivers can be downloaded from the Toshiba page.

Have you tried starting in safe mode using the F8 key?Some new notebook series is equipped with HARD drive recovery. IF you can try to press the F8 key immediately after you have switched on the laptop, then choose fix my computer and try the laptop recovery

I know there are several comments here to point out how the black screen at startup. I think my problem is similar, but I need a few more details.
A year ago, a friend of mine gave me his old laptop, a Satellite 1800-814. I use it mainly as a typewriter and check my email. He could never operate on battery only, longer than for a few seconds, but I've always used it with the connected power cable, no problems. Sometimes it wouldn't start, and I had to unplug the power supply for a while to turn on.
I was visiting someone and wanted to connect to the Internet. They had this USB wireless modem, that I have it plugged into my Toshiba. During installation, the PC froze, and I had to reboot by pressing the button market for some time. He did restart, but at a standstill. I restarted again, sometimes had it works, sometimes not, and ultimately he entered its current state: with the power cord plugged in, it will start, I'll hear the processor fan (or whatever it is) work and the lights of the battery and the power will be green at the bottom of the keyboard.
The screen, however, is black, there not all sounds and ceilings and the insert key lights do not react to what whether - they are permanently gone.

Your description is quite long, but I'm still confused. You mixed several questions in the description of the problem and there is no stated clear what happens when you press the button walk / stop.
Power is ON?
Is there a HARD disk activity?
You see something on the screen?
What happens if you use the power supply only (without the battery inside)?Sorry, but it is not easy to tell what can be the problem. The best thing you can do is to contact someone with enough experience PC. The person who has the laptop on the desk and try to start this laptop can be more specific about possible problems.

Satellite L350 - 170 Vista black screen and strong continuous beeps

There is no free download link, you can buy a [Recovery disk | https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/landing.aspx] Toshiba you can also do a new install of Windows since Windows copy disk.

Satellite A300D-1EI - error blue screen display - drivers did not have
I bought my laptop about a month ago.
Everything is working great except two errors 'blue screen' caused by the graphics card.Both were when the laptop was connected to the TV via the S-video port.
First was when the computer screen turns off after 15 minutes while watching a movie on resume says that the display drivers did not have, and then I got the blue screen. Then I updated the site Web of ATI display drivers and set the computer screen goes out.All were ok with no problems, until last night when I got another message that the display drivers did not follow a blue screen.
I wonder if this is problem to drive or there is a problem with my graphics card.

This driver is not tested and Toshiba does not offer any help on this matter.So what you can do is to install OS using recovery media and see what will happen in the future. Please test extensively with the own operating system preinstalled. Do not install anything that can have some negative influence this game or additional applications, codecs or something similar.
Test it please and tell us if the problem persists.

Satellite L350-262 - WLAN stopped working after Windows update
Hi - help please!
Everything was fine until an automatic update on windows 7 applied about 14/15 December 2010. After that I turned off the wireless LAN to save battery while off line, then the wire will not pass on, I am currently connected via a cable connection 10/100.
I tried a restore when this problem first occurred, and it worked. However, the updates have applied new themselevs and I cannot now restore the update that seems to have caused the problem before the date on which took place.
I updated the driver that the adapter is realtek adapter and I have applied this update - realtek_wlan_win7_20100702, it did not work.
I ran the diagnostics which indicates the following:-Please note the wireless switch on the before the computer is on, and shows on the page of diagnostic, Diagnostics tool recognizes also when the switch is off, so it doesn't seem to be a physical problem with the wireless LAN switch, but something software related that has disabled the wireless LAN
