Satellite P850 take about 4 minutes to start Windows after the Welcome screen
Hey
My SATELLITE P850 take some time after the Welcome screen to start windows, it was like this the first time that I get it.
Any help or idea?
thx a lot
Have you changed anything in your system or maybe the HARD drive? Did you create a partition?
4 min to complete the startup process is really long
Have you installed an antivirus software? Maybe a Norton Antivirus?
I got this software installed on my laptop and it took an eternity to boot the system.
I replaced Norton Antivirus with free ware software called Avast!.
Now the Windows starts for 30 sec

I have to wait about 5 minutes between loading time and the Welcome screen
Need me quite a long time to wait I'm not why. It worked normally until I installed a new type of explore (7.0) from the Internet, after that I restarted my computer, I have to wait about 5 minutes to see the Welcome screen. Can someone help me, thanks
Hello
It is not easy to say why this happen here. I recommend you to visit the FAQ section of the official website of Microsoft. Maybe you will find something interesting.
I heard that IE 7.0 has own firewall and it is possible that there are some conflicts with the firewall of Windows XP Home edition. Check it out and try to disable the firewall of Windows XP Home edition to see if the operating system boots faster.
Good bye

Satellite C55 - C - 1 M 0 - cannot start Windows after the installation of the Dual Boot
After I installed Ubuntu, when I try to start Windows, the process stops and says that there is a mistake: NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM. But I can't run Ubuntu without problem.
Is there any special step before installing a Dual Boot with Ubuntu system?
My laptop is a Satellite C55 - C - 1 M 0.
Thank you. Kind regards.
I guess the problem is due to changes in the size of the partition. I found a few questions about google with a ubuntu - NTFS_FILE_SYSTEM query. Maybe you should take a look https://www.google.fr/search?q=ubunt...sm=93&ie=UTF-8

Windows 7 does not start after the Welcome screen after password
I've been running Windows 7 for the last 10 months with no problems until a few days ago. The PC starts fine, goes to the password screen, accept the password and then adheres to the Welcome screen. The PC is not frozen, the cursor moves and the circle just keeps running load. It starts perfectly in safe mode and safe mode with network. This problem started to occur intermittently, but tonight, it took 4 re - begins to initialize.
Would be grateful for any ideas.
Hello
a. did you software/hardware changes to your computer before this problem?Step 1: Try to perform the clean boot in safe mode and check. This is perhaps due to some third party software installed on your computer.

I have a HP G62 with Win 7, takes about 10 minutes to start,
Takes a long time to start, think it might be a problem with hd, so got another, samething happened. Reinstalled old hd and restarted without the bat and it starts fine, rebboted with batt in and it was slow again... restarted with the stick and it was slow again... did this several times. A bad mattress would do that?
While it seems strange that a bad or low battery could cause the problem, I must say that it is possible. A few years back that computer laptop of my brother would not boot at all with his bad battery and removed the battery and it booted right up. Replace the battery-everything was good.

My MBPr takes about 30 minutes to start
I'm on a late 2013 MBPr 15 ", 2.6 GHz, 16 GB ram, osx 10.9.5 mavericks. He used to start in half a minute, and a year ago it became a half hour. I don't know what happened. The reason I can resist this slowness was that I rarely "close" my mac. Most of the time I just close the lid and let it sleep unless there is a system failure which forced me to press and hold the power button to turn off. Initially I suspected that it was because the machine was not closed down, but discovered later reboot had nothing to do with the way in which it was closed.
I decided today to tackle the problem and the first thing I'll do is start my mac in verbose mode. I checked also system logs in the Console app today and I don't think he has much to say on the issue. I hope that I can get a decent screenshot in verbose mode to post here later today.
If anyone knows where in the system to review, please let me know. I am uncomfortable with the help of Terminal Server. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey guys
I have a MacBook Pro MGXA2 and I used time machine for the first time for the backup of the stuff, but after completing the course, my Windows boot option missing from the start menu
Now I have MACINTOSH HD and a new option named: option to START EFI!
in disk utility, I have a Macintosh HD and BOOT CAMP
boot camp disk is always seen in utility dish! I have many pic in the bootcamp drive
now the questions:
How can I access inside the car of bootcamp to retrieve my files from disks in windows?
is it possible to bring back the old windows boot camp player option to the boot menu?
Thanx
Welcome to Apple Support communities
- You can access your Windows partition with Finder. Simply open a new Finder window in OS X and the access to your Windows partition (often called "BOOTCAMP").
- Out of curiosity, what happens if you choose 'Boot EFI'? Note that newer Macs run Windows in EFI mode, so maybe Windows still works.

I have the same problem. I put my laptop (windows 8) to sleep and after a few hours when I tried to open it, it was just a white screen. I tried everything you mentioned (windows + w, windows + x, windows + r), but all in vain. Only thing that responds is increase/decrease brightness and volume. Help, please. Also when I try to stop him, he falls asleep.

Satellite L735 take longer than usual to start
My toshiba Satellite L735 took more time than usual for what it starts (more than a minute, takes usually 40 dry) gave it to the service center, they said they will update the BIOS, optimized computing processor, formatted.
Again, it was beautiful, but the problem was back in less than a month, he took once again, the person at the counter just reduced unnecessary programs from startup list, came home to notice it took even more time to start (more than 2 minutes).
When I turn it on, its fine all get the logo windows in no time, but after a black screen appears and remains for about a minute and a half, then the home screen appears, the startup sound in windows that is supposed to play as soon as the home screen plays on 40 dry aftr homescreen appeared.
Help, please.
Thank you.Hello
The laptop seems to load windows slowly because too many processes would be loaded initially.
First of all, I recommend to download and install the CCLeaner. This freeware tool would help you to clean the registry and remove the waste from the system. In addition, you should check your processes that would be loaded initially.
Run msconfig and go to the Startup tab. Here you can disable any process necessary and not important.
I put t know how much computer experience you have so be careful with that.
If you n t know what exactly does the unique process, google for more details.
Remove a mark of close process will disable this you can later tooIn addition, I would recommend checking your anti-virus software, I switched from Norton Antivirus software Avira Antivir because it is much faster and does not require a lot of hardware resources the Avira antivir is freeware software so you can install and use for free.
Last but not least to defragment the HARD disk in order to ensure access to data faster
Good luck
