• Battery satellite L750 / 04K not recognized

  Hi all

  I have 2 laptops from Toshiba, a C650D & L750 / 04 k. The two laptops have exactly the same battery (PA3817U-1BRS. L750 battery couldn't hold a charge so I changed the C650 battery in the L750 & worked well.
  Got a spare battery (PA3634U-1BAS) & charged in the C650-has worked very well!

  But won't work in the L750!
  Doesn't load & PC turns not (led flashes orange-low batteries).
  Seems that the replacement battery is not recognized. Is this a compatibility issue?
  If Yes, what is the right battery for L750 / 04K?

  Any suggestions appreciated

  Please can someone confirm if they are the latest drivers for Toshiba and Nvidia? I been to the official page of NVIDIA to see for updated drivers and found 270.61 with link with all the notes of support:

  If you have the latest installed display driver you can check on the official website of Toshiba. Don t compare the nVidia and Toshiba drivers because they are different. NVidia drivers have another thermal management and not overheating protection. No one has tested these drivers on your laptop model.

  With the Toshiba display driver, you are on the safe side. They are tested and working 100% correctly.

  By the way: the installation of other drivers that happens on your own risk!

  I have a problem that is driving me crazy.
  When I press F2 or F12 to switch on the keyboard behaves as it should.
  However if trying to load a Boot CD or Usb car via the options F12, the device is recognized
  but click on any other key, the cursor just sits there intermittently at me and the keyboard does not respond.
  What makes strange, is that an external keyboard is recognized but the mirrors one internal.
  I have the latest version of the bios update.

  F2 in the bios - ok keyboard.
  Start in win7 - keyboard ok.
  Insert bootable back disk via F12 option-charges but no keyboard reagent.
  I think a partial corrupt bios
  Someone has ideas about problem or even a solution.

  I installed OS using different disks of Microsoft or USB recovery media and all you have to do is click on most of the time on the button NEXT.

  I come hat in hand, to help if possible, and to see if anyone has had the same problem.
