Satellite P750 - trouble installing Windows 10

Hello everyone, I am confident I can get help. I have a portable Satellite P750 (PSAY3A - 02l 001) not having to install the free update of Windows 10 W7 tried to install several times error code C1900101-40017 follow-up instructions (trouble shoot microsoft) to nothing does not. What I understand, my laptop (above) seems to have a problem with the Bluetooth RF Comm, and maybe it's the question about the installation. Can someone help thanks to a correction, I am not PC read and write in the full sense, so I'll need some help in simple terms please. When checking the initial installation, the information is that my laptop is compatible, contradicted by the above error and (not compatible) Bluetooth device?

Thank you very much in advance if anyone can help.
Keith.

One of the drivers need updating or deletion in Win8.1

In the control panel under Apps, uninstall the driver, touchpad, wireless, driver display driver and pilot Bluetooth audio.
Then run Windows Update to install the updated drivers.

  • Can satellite L300D - I install Windows XP?

Can someone help me or tell me the best thing to do?

I bought my Toshiba Satellite L300D two years ago and it broke last year because I hit it a little because of the internet. So I sent offshore to a friend of my uncle, who has replaced the drive with a 35 GB hard inside you. But now, whenever I turn on my laptop I get the blue screen and it cannot cross, he says that windows can be corrupted and is not loading and it says to use the original installation CD, but I don't have one, but I have a Windows XP one and I would make Windows XP instead of Vista.

Is there anything I can do to get it working again? Please help me quickly

    Thank you
    Fabian

    Hey,.

    > use the original installation CD, but I have not a
Yes, because you have to create this disk yourself using preinstalled creator of media recovery Toshiba as mentioned in the user manual.
Have you read the user manual?

You can order a recovery disc that will restore the original settings of the case:
    https://backupmedia.Toshiba.EU/landing.aspx

Of course, you can install Windows XP s no problem. Just make sure you can get all the drivers on the official page of download driver Toshiba. If so, boot from the XP disc and follow the on-screen instructions to install it.

  • Satellite A500 - cannot install Windows 7

Hello, I have a toshiba A500 and I am trying to install windows 7 but I can't go to step one because it does not recognize the dvd drive:
"A required CD/DVD driver missing player.
I have read a few forums, and if I could find the drivers, I think I'd be able to fix it with a pen.

So where can I find the? I went to download drivers toshiba but I don't see any por driver for Vista...

    Hello!

I m a bit confused at the moment because you try to install Windows 7, but then you have written on that Windows 7 doesn't t detect the CD/DVD drive.

I mean, normally, you must boot from the Windows 7 installation disc and follow the instructions on the screen.
The CD/DVD driver is part of the operating system and can t be updated or something else.

Maybe the Windows 7 disc isn t working properly so can you install another OS, such as Toshiba Recovery disk?

  • Re: Need of Satellite L500-13W - installing Windows XP - details

I have a laptop Toshiba L500 13W originally shipped with windows Vista.
I have already installed Windows 7 ultimate 32 bit, but I don't like Vista or 7, becausa of this new interface of the taskbar.
So I thought to install windows xp on it.

Toshiba offers drivers, but I had problems to install xp on a Vista desktop computer designed.
I had to make a special CD with SATA drivers, which toshiba does not provide for this laptop.

So I wanted to know if somone to people that you have already installed xp on this laptop model.
If you had problems, what drivers did you use, and if the original disc to factory worked.

    Thank you for reading,

    Please reply!

    Hi mate

First of all, you can install Windows XP on this laptop without the installation of the SATA drivers too.
In the BIOS, you will need to set the compatible SATA controller mode (instead of AHCI).
This will simulate an IDE HDD controller and it does not all SATA drivers.

Of course, it s advisable to install SATA drivers due to the performance of the HARD drive but Win XP runs in compatible mode too.

The laptop L500-13W belongs to the series of PSLJ3E.
You should choose this series to download driver.

You can download the drivers from the European driver Toshiba page.

Intel Storage Manager contains the SATA drivers

  • Can satellite A500 - I install Windows 7 64 bit?

I first bought a Satellite A500 with 4 GB of RAM there are a little over 3 months with Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium installed. Initially, I got the original dramas with finding drivers 64-bit etc., then it ran OK for a while. After about 2 & a half months I started having BSOD with error message related to a nvidia .sys file. After a few weeks of this, update the latest drivers etc and a number of unsuccessful attempts to diagnose the problem, it's that occur whenever I used the laptop and up he took the touchpad died as well. The company I bought at gave me a laptop replacement.

The new system is also a Satellite A500, and although it has a different model number and a CPU faster it is also virtually identical to the one I had already with 4 GB of RAM and graphics card from nvidia at the same address. However, for some reason Windows 7 32 bit has been pre-installed. I don't know why the company has not installed the 64-bit. A call to the dept tech with the issue gave rise to the answer "better for you", which means that 32-bit is better for me.

My laptop is capable of 64-bit. I know that when you run the 32-bit version, it uses only up to 3.2 GB of installed RAM (my system says 2.99 GB is usable - assume the rest is allocated to graphics?) but I read a post where the poster says it is running 32 bit Win 7 was actually faster than the 64-bit version though even he was not using all the RAM.

    * Can someone tell me if I'm running the 32-bit version of Windows 7 rather than the 64-bit version better? *

    * If I'm better with 64-bit, can I switch to 64-bit or what I need to do a complete reinstall? * No installation disk provided. Assume that the installation files are on the hidden partition.

Although I have not had a BSOD with this new laptop, I had a couple of instances where the system froze temporarily with the messge "your display driver has stopped working" followed by a recovery. Is this a thing Toshiba, nvidia or Windows 7? I have read quite a few other posts of people with laptops similar to mine who have had the same mistakes of Toshiba/nvidia but no resolution. * If it's going to be a problem with the graphics card, I'm better off the coast with 32-bit or 64-bit Windows 7? *

Any advice would be appreciated muchly.

    Hello

I a500 and run Windows Ultimate 64-bit, it's best to run 64-bit to 32-bit windows. You must copy of 64-bit Windows to install, it is not big problem to get it. All the drivers you can find on the Toshiba driver page:

  • Satellite U500 - problem installing Windows 7 64 bit

    Hello

I just bought a U500 laptop and am trying to install the 64 bit version of windows 7.
It is obtained in the section "Installation program starts Services" and comes with a Setup error saying that the laptop needs to be restarted.
When it is restarted it comes up once again with the error and keeps looping through.

7 the window was on the HARD drive when I bought and was the first option to install when the laptop started upward. There is a recovery disk, but it degrades to XP, something, I'm not keen. I tried to reboot in safe mode, all three options, nothing helps.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    > the window 7 was on the HARD drive when I bought and was the first option to install when the laptop started upward. There is a recovery disk, but it degrades to XP, something, I'm not keen

I put t understand that said you the Win 7 64 bit was preinstalled, but the recovery disc contains Win XP?

As far as I know, the most recent series of laptop is preinstalled with Win 7 64 bit and the recovery disk contains the Win 7 32 bit there is also a preinstalled Toshiba Recovery Disk Creator that allows you to create the own recovery with Win 7 64 bit OS disk

However, if the laptop was preloaded with Win 7 then a HARD drive recovery option should be available also. Turn on the device, press F8, select Repair computer mu then Toshiba HDD recovery
This should start again Installing Win 7 64 bit

  • Satellite 1670CDS - re-installing Windows 98SE

I have an old laptop 1670CDS (from days girls University) I got to the bottom of the Forum.
As a favor to a friend - he has a temporary use of a portable simple to some Word / Excel work-, BUT I'm having problems to get things set up on this machine again.

I managed to acquire an additional memory to hold the original 32 MB up to 160 MB, which was mounted without any problems.

At the start, but the system does not find any operating system. I have no idea how this could be other than some clean disc in the dark and distant past.
I can't find the original system recovery disk, could be anywhere between Leeds / Edinburgh and here - you know what look like students.

I tried to install W98SE from a CD, and this product (but slowly) until it reaches a point that the system displays a message about the "partitions".

The screen displays a line: * 5727 MB disk 0 at Id 0 on bus 0 on atapi (MBR) *.

Below, we find what appears to be the first line of a list + States -: partition1 Mo 5726 (unknown) (5726 MB free)
(This is the only entry in the list box)

    The options are:
    (a) press ENTER to set up Windows XP on the selected item
    (b) press C to create a partition in the sapce unparitioned
    (c) press D to delate this partition

    So far, I have tried
    (a) implemented the system reboots and crashes
    (b) nothing happens
    (c) message is displayed indicating that it is a system partition and it may contain config hardward, programs to start operating
systems (e.g. Windows XP), or other manufacturer-supplied programs.
Then I have the ability to DELETE the partition, or return to the previous screen.

I'm not sufficiently confident to take the risk of delting the partition, without some assurance that I can get things sorted another way.

I missing something here, and should I go on his way to another? Or am I flogging a dead horse.

    Any help / pointers appreciated.

I think that this problem is caused by a faulty HARD drive.
Check that the disk with Drive Fitness Test as Akuma said.

Download the CD image, burn it to a disk and boot from it. Choose the advanced test.

    Hey Buddy,

I Don t Satellite P750 in front of me, but the wireless network card is in the Device Manager?

On Satellite P750, there is a tactile button between the screen and the keyboard to turn the WLAN function. The second button on the left (symbol of the antenna), you need to press to activate the WLAN.

Also, check the BIOS. As I know most notebook contains an option for the WLAN that must be set to active.

  • Satellite P750: Impossible to install the Bluetooth Stack on Windows 7 (x 64) driver

    Hello.

    I own a * Satellite P750-02 t * (part No. * PSAY3A - T 02 001 *).

    In the order I did:

    (1) I formatted the HARD drive and reinstalled the operating system of * Windows 7 x 64 Ultimate SP1 *.

Then I downloaded * ONLY the BIOS and drivers * of [his downloads page | http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/support/computers/satellite/p750/psay3a-02t001/download?os=25]:

    (2) I've updated the BIOS for * v1.90* (the laptop came with v1.80)

    (3) I have installed all drivers:
    -LAN and WiFi
    -Chipset Intel latest (available)
-all video drivers (NVIDIA Graphics, Intel HD Graphics and Intel HDMI)
    -Card reader
    -Realtek HD Audio (later)
    -Synaptics Touchpad
    -USB3.0
    -IR
    TV tuner
    However, I * cannot install Bluetooth driver (v8.00.06 (T) *)...

When I run the installation program of the [aforementioned page | http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/support/computers/satellite/p750/psay3a-02t001/download?os=25] it detects partially *'Bluetooth USB Controller-10 TOSHIBA'* (USB\VID_0930 & PID_0215 & REV_001)
and then the installation freezes simply displaying + "install the Bluetooth driver. Please wait +.' and stay like that forever...

    I also tried to download a driver [another location | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/index.php?page=download-toshiba] for laptops TOSHIBA - v8.00.02 (T):
and followed installation instructions displayed under "Details".
but he had the same result: the installer simply crashes...

Install fix (* KB978258 *) recommended it did not work either - the message "+ update is not applicable to your computer +" appears.
And I understand why - this fix is [already included: http://download.microsoft.com/download/E/B/A/EBA55FE2-373A-4351-9346-6D762B79AA69/Updates%20in%20Win7%20and%20WS08R2%20SP1.xls] in Service Pack 1 for MS Windows 7.

I spent hours searching the Internet for a solution. Although there are some similar cases, none of the recommendations actually worked. I tried to install:
    -WiFi driver before installing the Bluetooth (someone suggested that these two are parts of the same card);
    -Repeat Mode Setup without failure;
-* Toshiba value added package * hoping that somehow these tools will kick in.
    Nothing has worked...

It is interesting to note that when, in the interests of experimentation, I tried to run installation for my generic Bluetooth adapter (using the driver [for non-TOSHIBA notebooks | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/index.php?page=download]) then everything runs smoothly!

    * Using connection Bluetooth on this laptop is absolutely crucial for TI
I hope that I won't get back this beautiful laptop as I know that TOSHIBA is one of the best manufacturers and I am sure, that there is a solution to this problem.

    Thank you very much.
    Evgeny.

You can use the key combination FN + F8 to toggle WLAN?
You can also see BT symbol there?

Before you begin installation battery BT try to activate BT module by using the FN + F8 key combination.

Generally avoid some problem with it. Toshiba BT stack is tested on al models proposed by Toshiba and fireplace installation BT has, in my view, nothing to see what version of Win7 you use.

Do not return this laptop. It has to do is just install drivers, tools and utilities. Please note: BT stack is included in the recovery image so BT must work.

Also, I must say that OS installation of drivers, tools and utilities on Toshiba laptop must / should be installed in the correct order. Many tools can work only and must be installed on basic stuff that can be installed with other specific tools of Toshiba.

Please send a few comments if this FN + F8 will work.

Try to extract the exe from another place, not in the temp folder.
In my case, I created a folder on a second partition (D) and have extracted the exe file in this folder. Can go to the Device Manager, and then can install the driver through the Device Manager.
Choose the installation procedure advantage and point to the folder that contains the extracted files.

    With regard to the issue of the BT;
Download the new battery of BT from here:
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/Bluetooth/

Then clean the registry using the CCleaner.
This tool is freeware and can be downloaded on several different pages.
So after cleaning check if you could install new BT of the register stack.

    Hello

    Check it please http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/HTD1303440001R02.htm
You will find a step by step description how install the original recovery image using disk HARD recovery option.

In any case, if your laptop is always original OS preinstalled before starting with the installation of HARD drive recovery that I recommend you to create DVDs from recovery to the preinstalled using Toshiba Recovery Disk Creator.

I hope that you will be able to create these disks. If something goes wrong with the HARD drive recovery facility, you can use these disks and install original recovery image.
If you have any other questions you are welcome.
