  I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite L775. I run Win 7 Home Premium. My mouse pad does not work properly. I also have a Logitech Anywhere MX wireless mouse.   If it does not work for you there is nothing you can do about it. Cooling fan is controlled by sensors on the motherboard.

  Try to reduce activity and closing some additional applications that make the CPU/GPU busy. Be as safe as the computer s laptop cooling grilles are not blocked somehow. It is very important to make them free.
  On my old L300 fan was too strong but the method of cooling option helped a little.
