• When you are doing research, how do I save favorites for all tabs in a to a list?

  I often do some research on the "Net... as a result, I have maybe 15-20, or to open several tabs, each containing important information." I want to use a menu item "Save bookmarks for all open tabs" to a list or a new folder of bookmarks - at the end of my search session.

  That let me get back to my research, click on "All open tabs" and restore my session earlier, even if much time has elapsed between sessions, and further research was done at the same time.

• How to export or save Favorites in Audition CS5.5?

  I intend to uninstall Audition CS5.5 of my current computer to install on a new, but I have sunk a lot of time in favorite decision that I don't want to lose in the transition. In AA3, you could save on your scripts and even change, but I can't find anything similar for the Favorites in CS5.5.  Where are hidden data?  Any help would be appreciated.

• Can I create a screen saver "favorite quotes" in El Capitan?

  Years ago, I had a PC which allow me to create short (probably 100 characters, not even not at the level of Twitter) quotes as screensaver.  I'd like to be able to do in El Capitan, but don't know how.

  I thought to try to transform the simple text or Word documents in JPEG format and their use in a folder of photos I could choose as a screen saver in El Capitan, but I have no idea how to format a Word document to JPEG format, as opposed to a PDF file.  (1) is there a simple way to create a text-only screen saver (or perhaps to add short text phrases to an existing screensaver program in El Capitan)?  (2) in the case, could someone tell me how to do what I want to do?  Thanks for your suggestions!

  You can create a folder of images of text with Keynote, if you have installed.

  Create a new document, Keynote, then write a single citation per slide.

• BONES of Firefox will not save Favorites, lates updates installed. ???

  Before I could get online own bookmarks and choose had to register. But now I have the old stuff, but it is impossible to save the new ones?

  Start Firefox in Safe Mode to fix the problem and to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

• Save favorite places

  Hello

  I'm going through my photo library and where possible, I assign a location for the photos.  What I've found, is that it is my older photos with no tags, not surprising that the GPS was certainly not in my camera when the photos were taken.

  Many of the photos is my home, where I want the tag to be specific to this place, however, because of the picture summarizes information, the map shows the correct location, but the text describing the location is summarized to the nearest town, not the road, I'm the same.

  If I copy the location of the info box and paste it into a photo untagged, should not be the actual location of the photo I copied, but just the information summarized, to the city.  This means that when the picture gets marked in downtown, or I have to enter my full address to each photo, which is not ideal, of course.

  Is there a way to get the Photo's to remember favorite places, for example my house so that I can quickly assign them to my place.  I know this used to be an option in iPhoto, with manage my favorite places, but I don't see anything similar in the Photos.

  Is it possible, or I will have to just at work by implementing the full address again and hope for an improvement in the next update of Photos?

  One of the photos with your home to export as the location address, then select the photo in the Finder and use the command "file > info.

  TheInfo Panel will tell you the latitude and longitude of the place.

  Copy and paste the latitude and longitude of a not or another text document, where you can copy the text to paste in the location filed of any photo in pictures.

  You can enter places in Photos like the latitude GOS, followed by the longitude as decimal numbers.

  I simply created puts a file of editing text with all my favorites so I can copy and paste the GPS data.

• Favorites do not appear in the sidebar save/open dialogs (El Capitan)

  The question

  The problem is that the sidebar first SAVE / OPEN Windows is missing from the list of favorites. Some people also report they are absent in the side bar of the Finder itself, but in my case, it was not the question.

  In some cases reboot temporarily seems to "solve" the problem, only to have it come back a little later.

  Some people have suggested to delete the Finder preferences plist file (~ / Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist). But people say it does not, correct or is it fixed only temporarily. Delete this file also kills all the Favorites from the Finder, which means he must recreate the list.

  I can hardly believe that a serious UI bug has occurred since the 10.11.0, which was released more than a year ago.

  Does anyone have a legitimate solution to this issue?

  This question seems to be fairly widely reported. There are many cases reported here on the Apple Forums, although I saw no meaningful discussion on the problem and permanent solutions.

  It is also fairly widely reported on other sites (blogs, etc.). Various solutions are available, but many people say these don't fix, or only very temporarily fix.

  As far as I know, this question was held for people in all versions of El Capitan, of 10.11.0 thanks 10.11.6 (the most common, from this announcement).

  This issue is fairly widely reported online. I searched through the Rapporteur of bugs and no results were returned, which seems hard to believe.

  Missing Finder instance handles dialogues open/save favorites.

  Often the sidebar is hidden. It can be restore to see, and then the Favorites are missing. People have reported this problem on line since 10.11.0

  Sometimes in the Finder itself in this case also.

  Steps to reproduce:

  Use registration opening of in any application.

  Sidebar missing all the favourites. Only the items that have been seen are DEVICES.

  Expected results:

  It should be a list of FAVORITES in the sidebar of all Windows Open/Save.

• How can I save the Favorites on a disc?

  I would use a different browser but I do not know how to save Favorites they copy to the new browser. help please!

  In IE: File | & Import-export | Export a file and export the Favorites on the desktop and then copy them to CD or flash. Copy it to the desktop on the other machine and import them.

  For about a week and a half, whenever I try to save a palette to my favorites, out and back, those that I recently added are gone. Favorites stay there if I start from chapter to chapter, it's just when I leave the site or log out and log back in as they disappear.

• Firefox won't save, preferences, passwords, bookmarks, or bookmarks & imported settings of Safari.

  Firefox won't save bookmarks, passwords or preferences. He also won't save Favorites and imported settings of Safari. I tried the suggestions of help, but nothing seems to work. All the settings seem to be correct. I reloaded the software several times. When I allow Firefox import settings of Safari, it takes more than 40 minutes and then loses everything when I restart Firefox. I tried to start Firefox in safe mode, but it does not help.

  I use Mac OS on a MacBook Pro 17 "2011 start 10.6.8. Everything else on the computer seems to work very well.

  Experimental features

  The problems are gone now. However, I'll never know exactly what that caused them. When I restarted the computer in safe mode problems continue. But when I tried to restart my computer does not recognize the hard drive in safe mode or in normal mode.

  It is possible that the Firefox problems were caused by a faulty hard drive.

  I was able to rebuild the directory with Disk Warrior and transfer my files, but the disk would not boot. Fortunately, I had a spare hard drive. I installed and reloaded all my software and data from scratch. I also downloaded the latest version of Firefox. Firefox works fine now.

  Thanks for all your suggestions. They may not have fixed this particular problem, but I learned a few new tricks from you to solve other problems.

• Preserve the favorite iPhone in Lightroom?

  I can't find an answer on the forum or online.  My workflow has been less that optimal because I bought an iPhone in December, and I'm trying to find a way to recover.

  I have now 11 000 photos on my phone - with 1,000 marked as Favorites.  My workflow in the past, with a camera, was to download my photos in a folder and then process in Lightroom - including their ratings.  But I'm at a loss of what to do now.  I have all kinds of ways to get pictures from my phone.  But most of them do not save "Favorites" to the extent indicated in the iOS.  I know that Lightroom Mobile on my iPhone (just installed) does not recognize them.

  One approach is to forget and re - note in Lightroom.  But maybe I could re-download with Photos, ask him to save the notes in the metadata, and then Lightroom will recognize?

  My hope is to use Lightroom in the future, but I'm swamped, whenever I think about it.  (A separate issue is the flow of work in the future.  I think Lightroom mobile, rather than pictures of iOS, for ratings online.)

  Thanks for all the help.  To close the loop on this request, here are the steps I followed.  They proved to be relatively simple, but a little slow.  I had six months of pictures that I had assessed only on my iPhone, but had not yet imported or processed in Lightroom. There is no overlap.  Otherwise, I would have probably re-rate them.

  The steps:

  1. Download all the photos for the Photos App on OSX icloud.  (It was slow - he did it wireless, which took a few days.) "I couldn't understand a quicker way to synchronize directly without using iCloud.)
  2. In Photos, select the 'Favorites' album (which had more than 1000 ones I ' D "hearted" on my iPhone).  Add a "favorite" keyword for these photos.
  3. Export all the photos of Photos on my hard drive.  Confirm that the keyword went with it.
  4. Rename photos using ExifRenamer for names photo showed dates and times, as well as the name of the original file (if, for example, IMG_1234.jpg becomes 2015-12 - 08_21h58m25s_1234.jpg)
  5. Download videos from iPhone separately using ImageCapture and rename with ExifRenamer.  The reason is that, when exports of Photos, videos, information on the time of shooting is lost.
  6. Import in Lightroom
  7. Confirm that "Favorites" keyword is appeared in LR.  (For unknown reasons, I had to do twice the steps 3 to 7  I had started making an experience with some pictures, and it worked; but when I did all the pictures, key words had got lost somewhere between steps 3 and 6).

  I will improve my workflow move forward to avoid having to redo all this!  I also realized that I won't stay in the Apple ecosystem (with all the photos in their own massive proprietary database) :-)

• Using Favorites

  I apologize to start a new topic for what I think should be a simple question/answer, but I don't really see any other way to do it; and, after an hour through the site, the frustration of links and then here, more help not being is not able to find what seems to be a simple answer brought me here.
  
  The Kuler Web site, I saved a few plans to Favorites (by dragging them in the list as indicated by the context-sensitive help), but I looked around various locations and see no way to access now my favorites or instructions telling me how to do this?

  Hello, I'm glad that you posted. Favorite is just a quick way to save the themes of other people like you, so by dragging photos to the bottom of the screen. To access (for example, to change, get values, download,) you just click on the thumbnail and details of the theme. Should not be connected to save Favorites and see the thumbnails.

  If this is not the behavior that you are experiencing, please let me know what steps you do, give me info browser/operating system, and we can look at the issue.
