  The catalog can NOT be on a network drive. Your images can, but the catalog must be on a drive that is on the local computer. Some users try to put the catalog dropbox. But you must allow time for updates complete. Dropbox approach is prone to corruption quite easily. The best would be to put the catalog on an external hard drive that can be switched between computers.

  I see that you encounter some problems with the scanning of your Officejet 4620 e-all-in-one for your Windows 7 PC. I can help you with that.

  To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done:

  1. Uninstall all software associated with the printer to your computer.
  2. Restart your PC.
  3. Download and install the latest drivers by clicking on this link.

  have not worked with the 11g version yet, I have to help a colleague.
  Aim: user who can do ad hoc analysis but is unable to save them.
  Can someone explain how I can revoke the privilege 'save the analysis' responses? Can not find, and I want to not meddle with the standard groups and permissions.
  
  
  That's what I did:
  -created user with 'bi writers' group
  -J' created a group 'bi authors without memory' with the option ' create as.
  
  Then I have 2 problems:
  1 al ' webcatalogs, the new group does not show
  2. I have not found the option to cancel registration in to 'manage privileges' screen.

  We have some Dell Precision workstations of the very high-end with 24 GB of RAM and 4 CPUs to four hearts.  When users use workstation on a network drive, it may take up to a minute before the directories appear.  The flashlight may appear.  This latency is frustrating.

  However, in Windows Explorer, it's almost instantaneous.

  Users prefer to use the workstation.

  Any suggestions?  Thank you.

• System error 50 occurred... during the mapping of network drive with a batch file.

  I have several computers on a home network with WiFi and Ethernet access to a NAS network.

  Using a batch file, card readers network at startup, etc.
  A for (I have 4) computers fails to map the network drive.  All other computers work fine with the same batch file.
  Specifically, when the following command has been executed in the batch file:
  NET use * /d /y
  The computer responded with:
  50 system error has occurred.
  The request is not supported.
  When the batch continues running and map network drives, each command mapping «net use z:...» ' produces the following:
  53 system error has occurred.
  The network path was not found.
  This particular computer in question is a laptop and all other software and functionality seems to work very well.
  It looks like a problem with Windows, but after some research, I found that many variations in Windows can produce the same above error codes.

  System Error Codes are very broad. Each of them can occur in one of hundreds of locations in the system. As a result, the descriptions of these codes cannot be very precise.

  In Windows, the files of libraries have a default save location. To save documents, the value default save the supplied folder is Documents.

  a. click on the Windows Explorer icon, located in the bar tasks to open it and then click on libraries.

  b. Select Documents, right click and go to Properties.

  c. examine the library locations. The default location is My Documents. While you want to add another location, click Add.

  d. you will find the new location in the library as well as those already existing locations. Click on apply and then OK.

  in order to open the files and folders in external applications, and not in FF.
  But when Firefox closes it removes this setting of prefs.js
  When Firefox starts and it is WRONG in prefs.js then it sets it to true.

  I found the solution: the value "noscript.fixURI" = false (in "subject: config" or in prefs.js).
  Problem was caused by too defensive noscript.

  When I get a USB drive, WMP scans the disc to add media items to the library. It takes resources and would prevent me from disassembly of the drive.   As Malke said... also, if your scanning software does not support scanning to PDF you may be interested in Scan to PDF software ofhttp://www.softi.co.uk/ (I recently evaluated this software for use of clients).   It works well but costs $29.99, there is a free 30-day trial.  I have not found a free or shareware equivalent that works reliably.

  Hello, I have read the forums on the Adobe reader XI not save signatures when using network drives and I encounter the same problem. We have deployed player now, we are unable to save on network drives without making a copy renaming. Obviously, this can not happen that our database will be chaos. We have tried to save it on the desktop all the signs of work and download requires a name change. so all the arrows point to adobe of networking... I saw no solution but messages blaming for the network without any valid reasoning or advice on a remedy to this situation. does anyone have an idea, one that can be done to solve this problem? If there is a post in the forums that solves this and is not the same answer spammed through the forums indicating that it is the network and not real work around or solution I can't. any help would be greatly appreciated!

  seems only valid workaround is Adobe DC not sign in. the same work. but actually works on networks.

  I called Technical Support from Microsoft (paying). It turns out that this 'Teredo nickname Tunneling (something)"card network is not necessary.  I plugged in the RJ45 on another port on my router and rebooted the PC. I now get access i.e. connectivity to the internet. I checked the Device Manager. It is no longer a "Teredo nickname Tunneling (something)" listed under "Network adapters" network card in Device Manager and I no longer get an error message about the Device Manager.  Detective Conan.

  I just write a batch file to automatically run a program in Windows XP as a local administrator.  I had to do to get the program to work right.  However, the program cannot access network drives to save the files even if the user who is connected has access to these network resources.  How can I give an a running program as a Windows XP local administrator the possibility to access and back up the files on a network share?

  I found a solution for this.  I had to add the same user a local administrator on the server with network drives.  This solves the problem.
