  I'm reading a float of 4 IEEE 754 bytes from a string (char array) using the scan function. I tried all kinds of setting shaped versions described in the help, but I can't get this good work. I get a string from a COM port. It looks like this in hexadecimal (the floating point number is between [brackets]):

  FF FF FF FF 86 1E 1A 6 82 22 01 07 00 00 11 [C0 52 8F 9F] DB FF...

  The format of the string is always like that. The first 15 bytes are some commands I want to jump and then I need to read bytes, 16, 17, 18 and 19. The result in this case should be - 3.290016.

  Here are the last of my many attempts to remove the float:

  buffer character [24];

  float myFloatVal = 0;

  ...

  Scan (buffer, "% 4f [i15b4]", & myFloatVal);

  This example returns '0' for myFloatVal.

  I suppose you want only there once, so just the existing code to scale accordingly. See attached example. If you want all, remove the internal node of case and research and blindly add all items in doubles.

  The technical data sheet information in small print:

  3 the single pass 50 sheets, ADF automatic duplex is available with only models 8730 and 8740. 8710 and 8720 models have an ADF 50 sheets of double mechanical

  While scanning two-sided "single pass" is not available on the 8710, it should provide an automatic duplex scanning.  The leaves should go through the printer, print one side, flip and scan the second side.

  No I don't think so. (I'd use the Uwe Hesse document, it is the best!)

  After analysis successfully for 2 years of my HP 3050 has for my Macbook Pro I got a message 'the software for this printer is currently unavailable' on my laptop today when I tried to scan my laptop.  And when I press the "Scan" button on the printer it say 'Not found computer' (even if it can find my computer quite well for printing).  That's happened?  How can I get my software to scan back?

  I just bought an all-in-one Deskjet 3520 Pinter.  Far so good except that I can't figure out how to scan multiple pages into 1 PDF document.  I found a guide who said there was a button to add pages on the left side of the screen preview of the scan, but it doesn't seem to be there!

  Scanning from the printer should actually encourage not to all other pages...

  Scanning multiple pages can be done via the software itself.

  Open the printer software, or scanning HP and then scan a Document or Photo.

  Select PDF, check the resolution is 300 dpi or less and preview it is checked, and then click Scan.

  change pages, and then click the Plus sign button to scan additional pages.

  Once you're done save the analytical work and it must be registered on a single PDF file.

  I can print wireless from my computer.   I can directly scan from my printer for paper output.   What I can't do is to scan from my computer (IE Word, HP SCAN...) in a document.    I was able to do a few weeks ago and know nothing of this happned to make change.

  The HP scanning application is not compatible with Sierra, so you may experience problems.
  Remove the HP scanning by moving it to the trash, then empty the trash.
  
  Instead install HP Easy Scan below, it will be installed in the Applications folder:

  If you experience additional problems, ensure that the latest version of the software is installed by following HP Easy Start below:

  It's what I've tried and I get:

  1. Install the drivers and full software from the CD provided with the product: It appears to turn on the option scan to the computer . But whenever I try to do, a message in the iMac says: could not establish a connection with the printer.
  2. Download the last update on the HP driver support site: He always says that to computer scan cannot be enabled, and that I should download and install the latest driver.
  3. Installation using AirPrint printer: It recognizes the printer and even the fax feature, but never the scanner.

  I don't no what to do, it looks like there is no full support for my 7612 in Yosemite.

  Can anyone help me?, I'm doing something wrong?

  OK, I managed to do this work, that's what I did:

  1. Uninstall the HP driver through the uninstall program that comes with it.
  2. I deleted these two files from the: < youruserhere > /Users//Library/Preferences
  • com.apple.print.custompresets.forprinter.Officejet_7610_series.plist
  • com HP. DeviceMonitor.plist
  1. Restart the iMac (I don't know if that helped, but I did anyway).
  2. Install the printer using AirPrint.

  I deeply thank RnRMusicMan who was helping me through all this time trying to make this work.

  I hope this can help someone who found this problem too.

  I followed your steps and they were still blurred, but I understood what the problem was. I had to cut my work I scan because the edges of the paper overlap the scanning glass. Now they scan perfectly!
