Screen don't time-out on charger

Hey my mom has a mini and the screen does not expire when the charger. Does anyone else have this problem? It works fine on charger charger but once you use the screen you have to hit the button to turn it off. I tried to start in safe mode is not a problem with a 3rd party CA. thanks in advance.

Go to settings > Developer options > stay awake. Make sure that the setting is NOT checked. It would be the first thing you should check. I hope this helps.

  • Crash Time out

I am running windows vista with office 2007 on HP pavillion laptop.  A few months ago, I had a complete catastrophic accident (blue screen) and had the system back to factory settings and seems to work ok for a while.  Recently, if the computer is left on but idle for more than 15 minutes it completely freezes requiring a reboot via now button.  After the reboot, it goes through a check disk 3 steps that always ends without problem. What can be done to stop the gel after such a short time of inactivity?

I'm just curious, but I guess that you have Service Pack 2 installed...?

After a reinstall complete my Vista, my problem with 'watch a video screen of password that triggers' returned tonight. I'm totally up-to-date, six updates beyond SP2. I think that there is something wrong with the 'timing' or 'Time out' in Service Pack 2 issues, and it affects screensavers and the password prompts (or trigger these).

I found this thread tonight on another site: http://www.ureader.com/msg/14743674.aspx where some people from Microsoft are discussing similar issues.

I just got Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware tonight, so I'll run right after my defender and 4.5 a-squared ends to scan. But I think that the system is clean. I mean, it's a NEW re - install on a reformatted drive. It's something for scanners detect no, then, which means it's done on purpose in the code like this is supposed to be there (that is, something can not check users - who is going to be the thing for Microsoft to do and hopefully fix it with a new update).

  • Reset the time-out without clicks or the keyboard input

    Hey all,.
SO, I have a RFID reader that triggers events in a film's Director. My timeout is set to 2 minutes, but it is possible for the user to never touch the keyboard or touch screen and always in interaction with the program through the RFID interface. How can I reset the timer of the time-out for the program don't timeout in the middle of the activity of the user. I can't find anything in the documentation that says, although it seems that there should be a property that I could put everything back to 0. Like countDownTime or something like that. Any ideas?

    > it seems there should be some

If you use the ' timeout' Manager (and setting of the)
timeoutLength), try to reset 'timeoutLapsed' to zero when you need to.

  • How to adjust the time-out setting?

I'm in a certain OBIEE in Firefox which, by nature, do not take a long time to run. One of my local Technical Support people suggested increase Firefox's timeout setting (he showed me how to do this once, but I didn't write it). Can you provide instructions written (or annotated images of the screen), please?

Alright. There are two ways to do this. You can extend your timeout, or you can completely disable timeout. Depending on how you are using firefox, can be useful. If you want to extend your time-out, type about: config in your search bar on the top. From there, need you a list of preferences. There is a search bar. Type "Timeout" in there. The top two are disable the time-out and the 'County timeout'. If you want to disable the timeout, simply double-click the "enabletimeout" on the top. This will change the false value. If you want to change the value of how long it takes to timeout, double-click on the "CountTimeout" and type in your new value. If this is not sensible, see screenshots.

    Have a great day!

  • Stor.E ALU 2s no time-out

    Hello
I have several Toshiba USB hard drives, that I use as storage media with a cable TV box.
Type DTP110 turns off after a few minutes if you do not use.
Type Stor.E ALU 2s continues to operate. There is no point when not in use.
Desturbing more however is the squeaking noise when the box is turned off, which cuts the power of the forced HD.
I sent a request for Toshiba if there is a tool to set the time-out, no response.
    Anyone know a solution?

    See you soon,.
    kyriako.

    Hello

I don't have a solution for you, but I may be able to enlighten us.
It is likely that the hard drive does not meet the host power management controls.
I don't think it's possible to solve by any other piece of software, unless it's an update of the firmware.
If you want you can chech in running a modern Linux host and attaching this player.
Run the drives under Gnome application and try to read the SMART attributes and / or request a counters.

The results it will show the way.
Success at the point of Linux to a kind of incompatibility between the HARD drive and your device.
Same result in Linux shows that the HARD drive does not respond to these common commands and there is not much to do about it.

  • Time-out error when you try to calibrate a PXI-6552 using Calibration Executive.

I make a mistake I never saw elsewhere trying to calibrate a PXI-6552 using Calibration Executive. We have been calibrating these cards for 3 years and never had a problem. The error I get has to do with the HP 3458 A DMM taking a reading.

1074126845 error occurred at IviDMM Read.vi in audit generation step voltage
The possible reasons: maximum time state of the driver (Hex 0xBFFA2003) exceeded before the operation is complete.
The primary error: (Hex 0xBFFF0015) timeout expired before the operation is complete.

As soon as Cal Exec implements the PXI-6552 module then will take a reading of the 3458A what an SRQ message on the 3458A, then the error message above appears in Cal Exec. I tried to reinstall the drivers OR DMM. The voltage on the meter screen is good for the first stage (5.5 volts DC), but it times out and gives me the error as indicated.

Nevermind, I got the latest drivers and install and everything works fine now.

Compress, (Compact in American English), removes waste of space, not your messages. Please read below, but if compact you and still get the prompt, after return. It is another question.

Why OE insists on compacting folders when I close it? :
    http://www.insideoe.com/FAQs/why.htm#compact

Compacting your folders periodically is a must to keep OE works fine and at some point, you may lose all your saved messages if you do not. When you delete or move messages, the space they used remains until you compact.

Never touch anything until the compression is finished.* *.

    See:
    www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#2

With SP2, Automatic compaction in the background has been removed because of problems he has caused. Now, you will get a prompt to compact after 100 closures of OE, you need to do, and do not touch anything until it's finished. If you compact manually, at your convenience, this will also set the counter to zero. See this for more information:
    http://www.insideoe.com/files/maintain.htm#compact

If you are fully patched, you will now see a copy of your dbx files copied to the Recycle Bin as BAK files. If something goes wrong when compacting, the messages can be easily restored from this backup. A compact manual resets also the counter in the back of the registry to zero now.

For more information, see the information framed in red here:
    www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#2

To keep things running smooth and harden faster:

Do not archive mail in default OE folders. It will eventually become corrupt and you may lose mail. Create your own folders defined by the user for mail storage and move your mail to them. Empty the deleted items folder regularly. Keep user created folders under 300 MB, and also empty as is possible to default folders.

    And backup often.

  • HP envy 4502: protect the cartridges don't dry out

    Hey,.

as stated above, I have a HP envy 4502.

How can I protect my cartridges don't dry out? I can't find it in the manual.

Is - it really is enough only to turn the printer off or do I have to print every week?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Wark,

There is no need to try to protect your cartridges don't dry out, unless you plan to leave the printer idle for more than 2-3 months.

In the printer, the cartridges are capped so that a wet environment is maintained around the print head.  This usually prevents healthy cartridges unless the printer is left idle for a long time.  In general, printing systems are designed to resist being idle for 2-3 months, because this can happen if a printer is used in a classroom and the school closes for the summer holiday period.

The only thing to make sure is always turn off the printer using the power button on the printer and do not feed it power off by removing the plug from the socket on the wall.  If you stop the power by taking the plug out of the wall socket that the printer may be in a State where the transport is to halfway through the box printing, and when the power is taken from the transport stops and the cartridges will not be capped within the printer.  Then they will certainly be dry if during an extended period of time.

When you turn off the printer using the power button on the printer itself printer not stop immediately but will allow the transport of cartridges to Cap until the power goes off.

I hope this explains the situation and is useful for you.

  • How to get what the current backlight time-out is set?

    Hi all

Work in 4.2.1. I would like to be able to arbitrarily increase the backlight time-out and restore it to what the user he had initially set when I'm done. Looking at the API of backlighting (i.e. backlighting. getTimeoutDefault()), apparently I'm only able to recover the default delay, which - as I understand - would be different from the time delay set by the user.

So my question: How can I get the _current_ time-out setting? Otherwise, looks like that I would not be able to always set the time-out period back to what the user had selected through their setting of BB menu.

    Thanks for your comments!

There is no BlackBerry API that provides the setting specified by the user backlight time-out.

  • C4780 WPS:Time Out

    Hi all

I was looking for autour and read several threads, but not found a solution. I apologize if I forgot something.

I want to connect my Photosmart c4780 to my wireless router, TP-Link WR1043N, which uses WPA2.

There is no filtering, mac or hidden SSID.

Whenever I try to add via WPS, the printer tells me WPS:Time Out. The router says connection error.

That's all I get, and I don't know what to do now.

Thanks in advance for any help!

OK, that's certainly strange.  Here's another idea that would correspond to symptoms:

A look at the settings of the router.  This printer to work 802.11 g should be enabled.  Other modes (such as 802.11n) can also be activated but g must be present.
