    Hello

Remove all power to the system:

Check and reinstall the memory - in fact, remove and replace - do not just tight. If you have more than
1 stick swap them in and out to see if the problem follows a stick or try the new memory. This
is rarely the problem though it may be. The connection of the hard disk may also cause so you

The hard drive on the Macbook pro was repartioned, all the boot camp and other drivers updated and Windows installed from the installation DVD. All the Windows updates available from 2012 (installation disc is 2012) until today have been installed and Boot camp 5.1 with all its drivers installed. • Passage of Smartphones from blackBerry to BlackBerry Curve to "BOLD" produces a blue screen in Windows

    Hello

I use BlackBerry devices for a while now. I just got a new "BOLD" and wanted to pass my Curve 8320 a "BOLD". Therefore, I tried:

    (1) switch device Wizard

This is supposed to copy my data on the hard drive. Then, I am prompted to connect the new device (Bold), select it and confirm. I did this and as soon as the charger wanted to write data in the "BOLD" my windows crashed and I got a blue screen ('bad usb driver' or so, sorry, do not have a screenshot of this).

    (2) backup and restore

I guess that's basically the "manual" version of the switch device Wizard. However, I made a backup of my curve, disconnected, logged "BOLD" and attempted to restore the backup to the "BOLD". Same result: Windows crashes with blue screen as soon as the writing process began.

I even tried updating the BlackBerry Desktop Manager to the latest version. Now, I got v4.7.0.32 BDM running. This new version even suggested to update OS my BlackBerry "BOLD". I thought it is a good idea because the older BB OS can lead to a crash of the. I went with it, but this was not successful either. I received the error message: "a fatal error occurred during update the software of your device. Please try again. "I tried again and got the same result.

I'm on Windows XP with the latest SP in a Machine virtual VMware in Mac OS X (latest version of both).

Information on the curve: 8320, v4.5.0.44, platform 2.7.0.61

    "BOLD" details: 9000, v4.6.0.62, platform 4.0.0.155

It would be great if there's someone who can help me. I just want to actually use the "BOLD" instead of the curve.

PS: It would be also great if there is a full-blown BlackBerry Desktop Manager for Mac OS X, you have for Windows

    Hello

Thank you much for the help.

Fortunately, I didn't need to try this. The problem seemed to be my Virtual Machine that does not support USB 2.0 market. This caused the BlackBerry / Windows USB driver shatter the BONES together. I lit, bootet Windows and could update BlackBerry OS of my Bold for the latest version.

After this succeeded, the device switch Wizard's well worked out too well and I now use the "BOLD" instead of my Curve 8320.

I'm going to write a more detailed review about it on my blog soon. Check it out if you wish.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft Community.

The DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error usually occurs after the installation of the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS.

If you encounter a bug 0xA control during the upgrade to a later version of Windows, this error can be caused by a device driver, system service, an anti-virus or a backup tool that is not compatible with the new version.

To help you suggest several steps to solve the problem, I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions:

    • Did you just install a new program or a piece of hardware, update a driver, install an update, etc. ?

    • You get the error message? Please provide the exact error message / error code.
