Screen with Z2 problem

Hi, pre-ordered Z2 and picked up Friday. Worked very well for the first few days and then yesterday when I turned on the screen had lines on it goes down and the screen got gradually lighter. Tried a reset, repair of Xperia software but no luck. Phone works fine otherwise, but there is a screen problem or a faulty software. Anyone else had this? I searched online and found that it is the same problem that some Xperia Z Ultra had last year. No idea if it was solved or if anyone has had this problem with their Z2?

Thank you Rickard, I advised O2 and they're organizing a swap of right this week. I am pleased to hear that no one else has this problem.

  • Latitude E7470 external screens with Dock problems

    Hello

I have a Latitude E7470 for work and when I started to use it with my docking station for external monitors, I was noticed a similar problem as grew up in the thread below. One of my two external monitors would be (seemingly at random) twinkle time or periodically to a point where he was distracted. In addition, I see the graphics card down several times after the publication of this kind of problems.

I implemented the "fix" that has been bound (and marked as the answer to the thread) over lunch a week ago, and more things are unhinged from there. Basically, I'm at this point cannot connect to all external monitors through the docking station. I resorted to having one monitor connected via HDMI, but hardly conducive to the work environment and I would really like my monitor Setup several back (even with the problem of flashing, at least).

Is it possible to undo the actions that I ran, or is there a fix more up-to-date for this problem?

    Link to the "difficulty":

Any response and advice would be greatly appreciated. I really do not have to resort to obtaining a different style docking station (USB 3.0) if I can help.

  • Fixed a blue screen with possible problems

    Hello

Last week my laptop when starting to vomit a blue error screen.  I had no problem before this otherwise - on shutting down every day (or more), for a month the automatic updates of windows would download every time instead of just randomly as they have done for the past two years.  I found this odd as it cannot be more updates probably within 24 hours and as I mentioned it was a recent appearance
I followed the on-screen guests to recover the drive and it 'fixed' the issue - I guess.  However, the virus protection that I had installed (Norton 360 v6) seems to have many mistakes.  I followed guests for Norton to correct the problems and am now protected again.
I'm likely to experience a blue screen once again?  That was the beginning of many problems for my laptop, or if I followed the instructions properly I shouldn't get another problem?

  • Screen with Z2 problem is no longer automatically rotate

Had this phone less than 2 weeks, auto rotation worked well.

It will not work with any of the features on the phone now, same with lit.

Tried an app on the app store, it works very well.

Someone from Sony will give me an answer?

    Thank you

It seems that the update from sony for the keyboard is causing the problem, once removed and restarted all right.

  • Black screen with cursor

    Problem:

Windows startup but stuck on the black screen with cursor

    System:

E7440 Dell with Windows 7 Pro

    Description:

E7440 has a ssd msata 250g installed with an msata to sata adapter. Hard drive's MBR mode. The system works well on Windows 7 pro. E7440 comes with an msata slot, so I removed the adaptor and connect directly on the slot msata ssd. Then the black screen with cursor problem happened. Put the adapter back with ssd and Windows 7 booted up normally.

I made a disk image of the ssd adapter so that Windows 7 is running, then restore the image to a disk sata hard. The black screen problems are out again.

Safe mode works normally. Low screen resolution does not solve the problem.

I also tried to copy of ssd hard disk drive, but Windows boot had another problem: session3_initialization_failed.

    Any help is appreciated.

I opened this morning with no problems, went to my g-mail account, pulled upwards an e-mail, click on answer, typed my respons, but when I hit send, everything went completely empty.

I have not compressed, without... menu bars anything other than firefox upper-left logo and reduce it, full-screen/small screen and close / x buttons in the upper left corner... it's she.

I uninstalled and reinstalled several times, but nothing works.

    What now?

    COR - el,

Wow... that was well above my head... at least tonight. Laughing out loud

After my last post, I did a little research and figured out how to import my favorites in IE8... so I uninstalled firefox again... but this time I had checked the "delete my personal Firefox and customizations" in the wizard, who did remove two addons (Ghosery and Ad Block Plus)... the relocation was different this time and the first time you start firefox He asked if I wanted to import my IE Favorites, which I did... I now added Ghosery and Ad Block... and if so far everything goes well... seems I got this back up and running.

The mention of the malware in a madperson add-on has been helpful to my solve my problem.

    Thanks for the help...

While I was using my laptop I received a message that HP was running some sort of program disagnostic and in the end, he asked if I wanted to repair the problems. I declined the offer. However, the next time I turned on the computer, I saw the first time the HP logo, then the message "automatic repair Preparation". After a few seconds there is a short rectangle that flashes on and disappears. Then I got a blue screen with: your PC encountered a problem and needs to restart. We will restart for you. "Who starts a blue screen and reboot cycle. Blue screens replacement error messages saying: "If you want to learn more, you can search online for later for this error" and once it will say 'FAT file system' and once 'NTFS file system. I have spent to support HP dv7 ENVY page and tried the suggestions of repair without success. Is it possible to go beyond these two error messages and their blue screens to get my system working again? If so, how?

    Hello

Error code 24 characters is a failure of the short test (DST) disk Self and would indicate that hard is defective and must be replaced.  It is also consistent with your description of the problem.

If your laptop is still under warranty, contact HP and arrange for the disk replaced - if necessary, you can check the status of your warranty here.

If you live in the United States, contact HP here.

If you are in another part of the world, begin here.

If you are no longer under warranty, it's a fairly simple procedure to replace the HARD drive yourself - a brief guide on this is below.

Readers on the following links are examples that would be perfect for your laptop.

    Hard drive 500 GB

    750 GB hard drive.

    1 TB laptop hard drive.

The procedure to replace the hard drive begins on Page 56 of your maintenance & Service Guide.

About reinstalling Windows 10 on new HARD drive, as long as the previous installation of Windows 10 had activated Ok after upgrading to Windows 7/8.1, you can simply create your own Windows 10 installation media and perform a new installation as described in the guide on the following link.  Note: On the activation screen, select "I have not a product key" - Windows will activate automatically once installation is complete.

  • Screen with a Qosmio F10 problems

Guys, I have a very cold sweat and Im panicking on my laptop!
It crashed on me and he couldn't do anything, so I turned it off. I came back to it a few minutes later and when I tried to turn it on, I get a black screen with as white on the screen axis-bands. I don't know if the laptop itself is wrong or just the screen. But I am worried, sick and trembling like a leaf here!
    Please help me!

My laptop is a Toshiba Qosmio F10
bought mid-2005 for about 1.5 years

the screen is just weird. Black with vertical pin strips.

No, I have not installed a new software or hardware. I was just working away in Word and Photoshop when he went AWOL. So I had put out of service.

    Hello, Karen

There is certainly a hardware problem and I'm afraid there is nothing you can do alone. You can test it with an external monitor to see if the problem persists and check if the problem occurs due to faulty display or graphics.

Believe me, the best thing you can do is to contact Toshiba authorized partner in your country. Let them test your defective hardware for laptop and Exchange.

My computer is having problems loading the main office. I start it up, the first black-wallpaper with the logo is displayed, then the screen goes to the Microsoft screen with the green bar of movement. After that, the Windows logo appears and makes the sound. A new screen will appear with a "start-up Fund" and he said: "Please wait...". "This form of lasting about 5 to 8 minutes, then the text disappears, with only the bottom upward. I left it sitting there on the blank screen for about 20 minutes, and still nothing changes. I tried Ctrl + Alt + Delete, and shows nothing. Finally restart manually, but the same problem occurs. The only way that this works is in Mode safe mode with networking (which is currently used). I also tried the system restore, but this does not work because by default it must go through the same problematic steps, as mentioned previously.

    Hi ninja_panda13,

-Remember to make changes to your computer after that this problem started to happen?

As you are able to boot mode safe mode with networking, put your computer in a clean boot state in order to verify if any third-party application is causing this problem.

Put your boot system helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. If so, you need to maybe contact the manufacturer of the program for updates or uninstall and reinstall the program.
