  Name/rename the files with numbers on the front of the file name; for example, 01-11-2009 - historicaldocument1.doc, 02-13-1957 - historicaldocument2.doc. There is no way for Windows can read the text of a file whether it refers to the great Chicago Fire what on such and such a date.

  If you are doing historical research, you can check on some forums/newsgroup user on your particular area to see if other people use the documents management software. It would be the best way to go. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  It is not possible to delete libraries. Libraries are part of both Windows Vista and Windows 7 operating system.  You can still navigate through your files on the computer--> C :\-> users-> .

• What kind of CD to use to send files

  I have a Packard Bell Desk top and it says on the DVD RW CD tray. I am trying to send files to a disc, memorex cd - rw 16 x - 24 x but the computer tells me that the disk is not rewritreable. On the CD, it says it is.

  I also tried to send stuff to s, DVD - RW, but this also fails.

  Can anyone advise what I'm doing wrong

• How can I find several duplicate files and remove the using Windows Explorer

  Somehow I see several duplicate on my computer files.  I can tell when they arrived as all the duplicate files ' _10-Mar-15_1. ' " However, I don't know how they arrived.  I think that Google Drive was the culprit, but I can't be sure.

  Windows Explorer can do no such thing. To remove recursively a certain file is easy - see below. To identify duplicates and remove some of them is much more difficult, because:

  • Are two files duplicates because
    -They have the same name?
    -They are the same size?
    -They have the same file date?
    -They have the same content?
    -Everything above?
  • When they are, which ones should be deleted?
    -The oldest?
    -The most recent?
    -The batch?

  Here's how to remove a certain file to recursively. Assume that they are in the folder "C:\Users\BHunter\Documents".

  1. Click the start planet.
  2. Type cmd. exe and press ENTER.
  3. Enter the following command and press ENTER:
     dir/s/b/p 'C:\Users\BHunter\Documents\_10-Mar-15_1 '.
     This will show you all the files whose name above.
  4. del /s /q "C:\Users\BHunter\Documents\_10-Mar-15_1."
     This will permanently delete all files with the name above. You cannot restore them.

  I have a toshiba satallite L755-16z for a month or two (New, with windows 7 64-bit)
  and knows that it has BT and I guess that its 3.0

  So I tried to connect the bluetooth with my phone & it paired very well!
  but when I try to send files and from my phone, it says (connection) but fails to send it in the end. In addition, this problem is not just with my phone as I tried issuing and receiving to & from another phone, but always the same problem!

  HOWEVER, I tried to turn the BT adapter off (right-click on the icon in the notification area and then turn off bluetooth adapter), start the application (bluetooth monitor) can send files & IT WORKS!
  But this only happens for once just after the restart of bluetooth, so every time I want to send files, I have to turn off BT, then turn it on?
  It is kind of unacceptable!

  Usually the BT must be activated using the Fn + F8 key combination.
  So remember that BT has been enabled using these buttons.

  What is the size of your external hard drive and what is the available free space? Open my computer-> right click on the external hard drive-> properties. You will not be able to copy more data if the disk is full, or who have less space compared to the size of the file you are trying to copy.

  You need to remove the order data to make the space more. Deleted data from the device USB will be permanently deleted and will not be stored in your Inbox, so take care while eliminating unnecessary data.

Its the same site, just a new folder which is placed at the root.  When I save the page in the new folder there to make a copy of duplicant images, css scripts and place them in the new folder to work? Must be a way to do it and have DW know where to find the original files surely?

  What you're trying to connect to your laptop or your laptop connect to Bluetooth?

  Did you check the specifications of the other device to ensure that it is not a special provision (both feet far etc.)?
