  If the cable you are using is a cord 4-wire (you can tell by the 4 pins on the end) then you will have problems of fax... The extra 2-wire 4-wire cord can cause interference.

  Also... you mentioned that you have changed carriers... If you have a voicemail service active this will disrupt your incoming faxes... There is no work around, you MUST turn OFF your voicemail to receive faxes.

  There are three computers in the opffice, 2 have windows 7 and the other is XP. Both with windows 7 suddenly will not send emails on windows live mail. all three are on the same network. I contacted Norton to see if that was the problem and they came to the conclusion that it wasn't Norton but the ISP or Windows Server problem. It receives very well but when you send a message, it will then an error message appears (554 5.7.1 rejected database end user not allowed to relay).

  Microsoft has put a block on my coming out in "outlook" express mail and on my laptop my provided internet 'windows mail' sent me to change my settings or I would not be able to send emails.  May change... now people do NOT receive my emails.  Provider Internet says that all is well with them...   EU thanks TI tri - turned out there was a firewall in place that blocked all my emails to come through.
