Serious error on the A30 in doing a spyware scan
Just reinstalled my OS on my laptop, Windows XP Home Edition. Downloaded a scanner free spyware and scanned my laptop (EWIDO anti-spyware). Scan went well until he to the driver file i386 etc. The scanner stopped and the laptop started making a horrible humming noise until the screen went blue with a lot of writing and then crashed. The laptop has rebooted itself and an error serious come. Does anyone have an idea on what could be causing this to happen?

If the "humming" noise came from the right side of the touchpad, so I think there was a problem with your hard drive during the scan for spyware. I suggest that you run CHKDSK on your hard drive to check for errors.
Also I suggest that you disable the "automatic restart" option so that in the future when you get the blue screen error you will have the time to read what it says. This will help you diagnose the error.

I use the model Match 4 IMAQ to detect the angle of rotation of an image of model. However, it displays the error: "error 1074395241: the model descriptor does not contain the data required for the corresponding rotation invariant." What exactly is the problem? My project is a bit complicated. Part of the block diagram containing the IMAQ Match model 4 is illustrated below:
The source image is a series of images of images read from an AVI video (I used a loop for to process the images frame by frame). The image of the model is an area of the first selected image. So, this means, the user selected the ineterst object in the first frame of the video, and each of the following images to find the object corresponding interest & determine its rotation angle. When I run the above diagram, there no error. However, it shows the angle of rotation zero no matter what it is 'really '. Therefore, I changed the schema by adding parameters, listed below:
But in this case, when I run it, it shows the error I mentioned in the subject line.

Im trying to find solutions for this error with windows vista. The only solutions with microsoft in the VISTA section is for xp machines. Go figure. Just delete the registry entry and restart the system. It should work perfectly. It worked for me.

You can check that the IKE and AuthIP IPsec Keying Modules (IKEEXT) service runs by using the Component Services Microsoft Management Console (MMC) or the net start command line tool.

As far as I know, the DNG Converter supports 7 d mRAW and sRAW files to DNG conversion. If you are sure you use 5.6 and your raw files do not work, can you post them somewhere so that I can download and St them?
Another thing, you can try it for some raw files copy manually the CF card into a folder on your desktop, and then ask the DNG Converter to convert these local copies to the DNG format. If conversion mRAWs on your office's work, but their conversion on your card does not work, then it is possible that you have selected just the right folder on your card in the DNG Converter, or there may be another problem, just read the files on your card.

I've heard some suggestions that, in certain circumstances, it is best to do a virus scan after Windows starts in safe mode. So I have two questions:
(1) would what type of circumstances you perform a scan antivirus in safe mode?
(2) what are the advantages or disadvantages?
I have found no reliable info that answers to these questions and would be grateful for any info, or even just a point in the right direction.

I followed the suggestion to use start > Control Panel > administration tool > services > print spooler > properties.
System in automatic mode but State of the said service stopped.
I get error 1075: the dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion.
Printer worked this AM, but stopped working between two print jobs.
I used Mr. Fixit to diagnose and fix the problem. Mr. Fixit indicates the print spooler service is not running, but cannot fix it.
Is there a source code for Windows XP service pack 3 which can be downloaded to replace the corrupted code?

The error message was THAT SYSTEM ERROR 1075 has occurred.
The dependency service does not exist or has been marked for deletion.
If I need to reload the operating system, I have a back up saved on a hard drive.
Do you know what file (s?) needs to be recharged?
