  My Toshiba L50 - B won't start when the battery is fully drained but connected to the power outlet.
  I try to work most of the time on the battery to keep the battery in good shape, but when I forgot to turn off the battery drains and the system will not start when I plug in the adapter.

  The battery charge indicator is orange light as it should. Only when the battery is fully charged to 100%, it will run at startup and function normally after that.   This can happen if the Srvsvc.dll library is missing or damaged. Try the steps mentioned inthis article and check the result.

  If you don't have a Windows XP CD, try the following steps:
  a. find the Srvsvc.dll on Windows file using the XP search feature.

  b. copy the Srvsvc.dll present in the i386 folder and pasted to the location: : \Windows\System32 folder.

• CF10 service not starting/Tomcat slow

  What happens in 2 identical environments:

  New, new machine copy of CF10 Standard x 64 on Windows Server 2 k 8 R2.  CF is patched through update 11.  CF still does not start after a reboot.  I'm going in manually, start the service and it takes 3-4 tests (and 10-15 minutes) to get it.  This is usually the case if I ever try to restart the service manually (without reboot), although occasionally it starts up without problem.

  If I try to start the service from the command line, it hangs at "INFO: starting the servlet engine: Apache Tomcat/7.0.23 ' for about 8-10 minutes before eventually continuing and commissioning.  This jibes with the service problems that the Windows service has probably is tired of waiting on the servlet engine and abandons him.

  No idea as to what could be the cause of the delay?

  Suggestions:
  1. temporarily disable your antivirus software. See if the problem has disappeared. If so, the time to consider a different security program.

  2. Do a system restore, if you can pick a date when he did not have this problem as your restore point.
  Start button > Search box, type system restore > press the Enter key > uac prompt > click on choose a different restore point > next > select dates as your restore point, until the click > next > finish
  To sit and wait. The machine restarts when it's done.

  3 do a file system check. See if the file check can find any corrupt fields and fix.

  As you mentioned that your HP desktop computer is not able to start after a reboot.

  I would first disconnect the backup / external drive and check if you are able to start or not.

  I suggest to go to the BIOS and boot sequence and select the internal hard drive as first boot device.

  NOTE: BIOS change / complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor (CMOS) settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Setting changes are made at your own risk.
