It's actually improve safety. You must log in on the web for your Google account and generate a specific application password. Then use that to set up (once) instead of your usual password.

Click on the link below.

Type a short name to identify your application for example PSE13 or 13 elements on Windows

Then generate your code and highlight it and copy (Ctrl + C)

Return to the organizer and go to:

Edit > preferences > Email

Click on the Add button, enter a profile name (to be used in the elements) enter your e-mail address, your name and paste the code (Ctrl + V) and click Validate.

If you get a successful confirmation, you are ready to select the photos and use the tab share. You will also get an email confirmation from Google.

See Bruce Hagen answer and I would add that there is no obligation to use the e-mail program included with Windows.

As far as I am concerned, as with other programs provided with Windows (almost all programs in all versions of Windows), the application of electronic mail that ships with Windows Vista is a very bad choice. Are a lot of other choices available: some by Microsoft and by third parties, some for sale and some free. They are almost all better than what comes with Windows.

I recommend that you don't just use what comes with Windows, but try several others and choose the one you prefer.

  • How to set up email notification alerts in the console BTM

    Hello

I want to know can we send notification of Oracle Business Transaction Management? If Yes, how can I send notification to the administrator say admin @ < host_name > BTM .com on all alerts (alert of ALS or condition) I configured email server host name and the address of the sender in the console BTM but how can I set up email notification on alerts from the console BTM?

    Thanks in advance!

Here you asked for him... it's... (Someday I'll make you open a SR!)

This aspect of the product is not documented. The important thing to note is the following:

There are two main sections of the documentation:

    Metadata for SLA alerts
The following table specifies the metadata for the SLA alerts.

    And:
    Metadata for Condition Alerts
The following table specifies the metadata for condition alerts.

If you want to subscribe to an alert of SLA, then you use the elements that are described in the "Metadata for SLA alerts" section. This means that you must use:

    ASLM
    in

And you can't use correlationName because who only appears in the alert status section.

So, what do you use? You must add this item to your subscription:

    com.amberpoint.notification.policyId
    UUID:040E7CF8-ED6A-11E1-81EB-6B8C9091B5EE
    in

You must fill in the element with the ID of the policy of your SLA. To find the ID of your look of the SLA policy to the profile of your SLA tab. Use the value that appears in the field 'ID '.

A full subscription will look something like this:

    <>
    enabled = "true" name = "SLA_on_Xact".
    userID = "admin".
    xmlns:AP = "http://namespace.amberpoint.com/amf".

  • How can I set up email when the field on the SSL certificate does not match?

I am a customer of Dreamhost and don't know if our situation is unique or not, but both smtp and imap are "mail.example.com" even if the SSL certificate belongs to ' *. DreamHost.com'.

I was not able to set up the email on my flame app because I get the following error:

    > Could not establish a connection with "mail.example.com". There may be a problem with your network or server.

I think the problem is the lag of domain name, but I can't find a way to accept the certificate.

    Hello!

According to the official DreamHost wiki site , you can try this (cut-and-pasted from the page). If it doesn't work, there are still other options available on the page.

To connect to the mail server using the name of the server dreamhost.com instead of messagerie.votre_domaine.fr.

Use the following steps to determine the name of the server to use:

       In the DreamHost Control Panel
Click "Account Status" in the upper right hand corner
Look for the "Your Email Culster:" at the bottom of the list.
Find your cluster in the table below.
Use the server name for the incoming server in your mail program.

    Name of Server Cluster e-mail
    homiemail-sub3 sub3.mail.dreamhost.com
    homiemail-sub4 sub4.mail.dreamhost.com
    homiemail-sub5 sub5.mail.dreamhost.com

  • I can't set up email on the new iMac

I don't know what is happening, but when I try to configure my e-mail account in the e-mail program on my new iMac, I get back a message that the email already exists.  However, enter the mail program to try to put in place shows clearly that he is not there at all. Now, when I load the e-mail program, he immediately asks me to choose an e-mail provider.  When I try to get that, well done, as shown above, it says "account already exists.  When the e-mail program load and I get that "choose the mail provider", I can see that there is an email "Inbox", however, I can't click anything else than to try to set up my email.  I guess at this point that the Inbox I see is probably that of iCloud.  No matter who else have similar problems with the e-mail program on their iMac?  I would appreciate a lot of insight as to what may be the cause of this and, possibly, how I can fix it. This isn't the case on any other apple device, I have just the new iMac.  Thank you for your time.

  • BlackBerry smartphones set up email with IMAP Client

Hello... I was not able to manually configure my company email setting IMAP with my new phone which is priv. The manual setting requires the server incoming and outgoing and incoming and outgoing ports, BUT manual adjustment did not where to put the outgoing server info. I have several times, but says that it cannot connect. With my old phone, the operating system, bb10, had more options. It is VERY important, I get my business e-mail configuration. Help, please.

In fact, I feel a little ridiculous. My password was short two-digit. :-( After finding that... the establishment of enamel has been intuitive... He knew the necessary ports and once I got the correct password and introduced him, he took me to the next page where it ask for info of outgoing mail. I wish that all the info on one page, instead of two. But it's not... Moral of the story to ensure that the information on the first page is right, then you can move to the second page. I hope it's useful to others.

  • Setting up email for blackBerry Smartphones

    Hi guys!

I just started to use the bold 9900 and I want to configure my mail. The problem is when I want to configure the e-mail it will still ask for activation of the company. I want to configure internet messaging.

I search for a video by vodaphone in youtube and the configuration is different from mine.

If you are only offered the choice of a business email configuration, is because the phone has already been used on BES and politics of TI has not been cleared or your plan monthly data from your provider is not properly set up.  If you have received the new phone to your carrier, call them to discuss the implementation of your BIS correctly.  If you bought the used phone, there is always a policy which must be removed.

    I hope that helps you.

  • Setting up email on Bold 9900 blackBerry Smartphones

I have a BlackBerry Bold 9900 and use it as a phone through AT & T prepaid. When I try to configure my email on the phone accounts, he says that he is unable to do so. I can also access Yahoo Messenger; When I try it says impossible for this device. I'd appreciate any suggestions really. I would like to have my email accounts set up on my phone if possible. Thank you!

    Hello

Most carriers, prepaid accounts do not allow the exclusive services BB, which all you mention is. Therefore, it is quite possible that your account is insufficient for the services you want... which means upgrading your account to something that activates the services you want. But, your best source of information about all of this is AT & T, because it's their accounts you need to learn.

    Good luck!

  • 9300 user - set up email - blackBerry Smartphones baffled - incorrect password error

I hope someone here can shed some light ofn this because I spent 3 weeks trying to solve and I'm still stuck after literally hours on the phone to the network provider and explore every possible potential cause.

About three weeks ago, I upgraded my Curve 9300 BB at 9380.  I copied settings using desktop software preconfigured and transferred to my new camera.  Applications reinstalled fine and I put five e-mail accounts, including 3 (business email) offered in a hosting account with Media Temple.  These all work very well and still do.

My old phone had to be given to a colleague, so I reset the device and set all settings at default and follow the procedure for a new SIM card.  When we tried to put in place the enamel on the old device (9300) wouldn't giving the error message Impossible to verify the account contact email provider.  I am the administrator of the e-mail accounts so I know that the settings are correct., network provider resets all settings for email etc and account details BIS etc are all correct.  The e-mail account works through outlook and is accessible via webmail, and we tried changing password and even deleted and created a new e-mail account, but always the same problem - error message telling the user or incorrect password.

I hope that it was a problem with the settings of the old appliance (9300) we could identify and address but it seems not to be that now when I try to put in place a new e-mail account on my new camera (9380) I get the same problem!  User password error - when data are 100% correct and on a device that I have successfully implemented the same type of email account!

I'm completely puzzled and if anyone has or knows a similar problem and has information about this, or has managed to solve, I would like to hear that I've explored everything I can think of network hosts and email.

You must call your provider to find out if the 9300 is properly registered on their network and on behalf of SIM card in the device. They need to confirm the good BlackBerry data Plan on this account, it is not unusual for them wrongly not do or provide incorrect data plan.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not set up email

My buddy gave me his 8100 and I wiped the phone initially, but I still get emails and cannot set up my own. I tried to go into the configuration of messaging as a new user, but he said 'an account already exists for this PIN. So I called AT & T. They said that the original owner had to call. Thus, he called, twice and the first time he has someone who said he had no such thing as a deactivation of the account/pin code, and the second guy it just to wipe the phone, which of course got nothing.

Suggestions of the exact terminology my boyfriend, or I can use with these clowns? Thank you.

He asked probably the correct term.

AT & T must remove the existing PIN their BIS account. They should do immeidately for him, but you could call just ask nicely, that they don't need to do it for you, even if they have been known to.

You may need to explain that you bought the device used and the existing user no longer use, you need to activate the PIN code on YOUR account.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Newbie needs help setting up email

    Hello world

I've been the proud owner of a "BOLD" for about 48 hours now. This is my first Blackberry, so please bear with me.

I need to set up my Yahoo email. I remember setting up front, but I deleted it as my allowance for the use of network (3 Australia) showed 2 MB roaming allowance, of which half was used in one day.

I think that the e-mail message has been implemented via a browser page, but I can't go back to this page. The e-mail setup wizard seems to be to the establishment through BES which I did not. Does anyone know the address of the page?

I also remember, when I chose the browser (not of Planet 3) I was taken in a BB page that showed several options of setting up various things. There were about 5 or 6 boxes grey listed above the other? Anyone also know the address of the page for this?

    Thanks for any help,

    Paul

You also see a personal Email Setup on the device icon? If not try going into the Options | Advanced options | The host routing table. In this screen press press the button menu and choose to register now. See if you receive a message from check delivered to your device. Subsequently, reset the unit by removing the battery for 30 seconds. See if you have this icon now after restarting the device. If you still don't you can try setting up the account again on your carrier's Web site BIS to add return e-mail accounts?

What options do you remember on this Web site? Try to go to mobile.blackberry.com on your browser and see if it's the page.
