  Hi guys,.

  I was able to solve above the requirement. It was not possible to create only from SQL dynamically. Instead, I created a procedure that would create & update (attached to the data definition) XML file dynamically for each race.

• Clone VM runs on several data warehouses

  Hi all

  I have a virtual machine that spans 2 data warehouses and I don't know how it happened like this:

  I cloned a VM from a template.  The model is in my store of data VOL3.

  In the summary for my VM tab, it shows that it is connected to and VOL2 VOL3 data warehouses.  When I sail both VOL2 VOL3 data warehouses, I see all the files associated with the virtual machine on VOL3, so I do not know why the VIC is reported as connected to VOL3?  It has only 1 drive, and who connects to a single vmdk on VOL2

  Some notes when I cloned the virtual machine template, I forgot that I had the CD connected to a .iso on the VOL3, maybe that's the question?  I unplugged the virtualCD, but no change?  It doesn't seem to be hurt anything at the moment, but I guess it could complicate things on the road.

  I think that the reason that you see your vm split into several data stores is the .iso file, presented during the configuration of the virtual machine. Instead of unplugging the drive (which has the .iso file) change the cd configuration to use a client device.

• A loop of several data files and save in respect of each

  Here's what I'm trying to do, I have a file, Indesign CS5.5 basis, which we'll call the master file.  I have several data files of text delimited by tabs that contain a column engines and ReplaceWith.  I have the script so that I can take 1 text file and it goes through the InDesign file and made all the changes based on the text file.  What I need for the script to be able to do, is instead of asking the 1 text file:

  1. it prompts for a folder that contains all my text files

  2 begins by the first text file and not the FindReplace I already work based out of the main file in Indesign.

  3. Once finished the first text file, make a backup - from the Indesign file updated with any changes.

  4 file Indesign Master returns to the original state, less the changes is ready for the next text file.

  5. move the following text file and bounce the find/replace on the original master Indesign file.

  And then basically the steps 3-5 in loop until all text files have been processed.

  As I said, I did the process for one file at a time, I just need to make sure it can browse a lot of them without someone needing to keep this.

  It would be files InDesign versioned the same name as the input text file but with the extension ".indd". You may need to consider to filter files in the getFiles() call, if you have files in your input file types, you do not want to deal with. It is clearer to all re - open the file of model on the disk, rather than come back and which is the same.

• Using the data of EBS in BI Publisher

  Question: Is it possible to directly use EBS data in BI Publisher? If so, can you point me to the documentation?
  
  Here's the scenario:
  
  Imagine that our company uses Oracle E-Business Suite. All the columns, tables and diagrams Oracle related to BSE. It is the backbone of our company data. Couldn't live without it.
  
  We're also crazy to OBIEE, especially BI Publisher. We have people who are experts in BI Publisher.
  
  The CEO of the company would like to enjoy the mountains of data available in EBS, but also the expertise of the people who are trained and skilled in BI Publisher, using the data of EBS directly in BI Publisher.   I don't know why you don't think it's as simple as that, but it is. Add a new JDBC data source, assign it to BEEP roles, create templates of data/queries against this data source and you're ready to go.

  To use the multi-org views, you need to set the org_id in forward initiation of the report.

  What version of BEEP are you using? We have the last BEEP 11 g, we use eBS (R12) as the security model, Teradata is our main source of data, but almost all the reports uses the security context for the multi-org eBS to limit the data of Teradata, based on the security profile of the user as defined in eBS.

  In you project I have several datas: Move, force, speed, time,...

  And he would like that this data in the same Excel file with a predefined order. In the example: column 1: time, column 2: speed, etc.

  I already tried to work with the block 'write on a file of measure' and associate a different signal through a simulation, and it works. The first signal is the left column. The second signal is the second column. So it's ok about this. But when I try to link a VI unlike a simulation, that the file does not work. Even if I use the data of 3 or 4, I only had a column with some strange results.

  Thank you for your project, including - it shows me that you are using LabVIEW 2015, which means that you have the Report Generation Toolkit, with the ability to easily generate Excel "Reports", available.

  If you really want to generate Excel (.xls, .xlsx) files, the GTA is, by far, the best way to do.  If you go to the search bar in the Forums of LabVIEW and type "Example revised" - the first 'hit' should be a post of two years of mine where I show how to use the GTA to more or less do what you described.  Give it a try with some of your data, and come back if you have any other questions.

• Foreign key constraint, not recognized during the synchronization of data with the model dictionary

  Data Modeler is a foreign key constraints do not recognize when synchronizing data with the model dictionary, although the foreign key is there (in the database that a data dictionary is read). I can't find any criterion when a foreign key is not recognized by the Data Modeler. Are there limits to the length of the attribute, or the number of columns in a foreign key, or other limitations which may lead to this behavior not to recognize a fk by Data Modeler? I have columns more than 32 characters. I compared with the fk is recognized by DM, but I can't find anything that indicates why it is not recognized.

  I wonder if someone also has constraints of foreign keys that are not recognized in the comparison of data bases and model?

  I am a newbie with ADF, I developed a test using Jdeveloper 12.1.3.0 application and it works very well on the integrated weblogic Domain.

  When I deploy the application (EAR and directly to Weblogic bot) to a second domain weblogic application fails to load to return the following error message:

  oracle.jbo.NoDefException: Houston-25002: definition of the type of the view definition com.model.ModVariablesView is not found.

  The view definition is mentioned in the DataBindings.cpx file? In the DataBindings.cpx page definition files may need to be changed. Please post the DataBindings.cpx.

  I Don t think it is possible to go to more than 8 GB in the Advanced edition. I Don t find anything in the documentation to go further than 8 GB.

  But if you need multiple data stores, you can go up to 10 devices POS by vCenter.

• Adding/changing of base points, data definitions

  I've got unifying 9.12 installed on my system to play with at the moment. I am logged on as ottbadmin and when I go to the company work space > Admin Mode > uDesigner > business process I can't do anything with them. The new button is grayed out so I can't create a new, I can't edit existing ones as the status button is grayed.

  Same problem with trying to add any cost new Codes under Enterprise workspace > Administrator Mode > Configuration of data Structure > data definitions. Have I completely missed something here? I even created a new user with access to everything that I called God Mode and still could not do everything above.

  You probably have your set server in Production mode, not staging Mode.

  Unifying Configurator, general tab, you must have the server set up for "staging".  If the value of Production, and then uDesigner feature will be disabled, even with the rights of God.

  As a general rule, you would have two separate servers, one in staging Mode and the other in Production Mode.  All uDesigner work would be done in the staging server and then imported into the Production Server.

  I create a configuration on my VM project and future document.

  I run x 4 company vSphere5 hosts running on a Dell R710 all connected to a Dell EqualLogic PS6100XS for their shared iSCSI storage.

  Looking at best practices and not knowing the correct limits of data warehouses... What is the best Setup here. It is better to create a large (7 by TB) Volume and transfer this to vSphere as storage... Or...

  Create several data warehouses (each 1 TB in size) for use with Storage vMotion?

  Theres more to it than just the workload, IMO.

  You must consider that usually get you slightly better performance (5-10%) with several data warehouses/LUN, simply because there is more available queues.

  Also, several data stores means that you have more options to make backups, prioritization, etc.  Finally, you also have more possibilities for reproduction in the future.

  I would * not * create a unique 7TB data store.  I'd be more likely to create a smaller data warehouses from 7-10 and broadcast my virtual machines around on them.

• Several screw-> a Simulink model

  Hi all is there,

  I am using LabVIEW as a UI for a model Simulink.

  According to the user's guide of LabVIEW Simulation Interface Toolkit-> 'using the Simulation Interface Toolkit, you can connect several screws.

  created on the host computer to the same Simulink model.

  And that's what I'm trying to do. I have a Simulink model test3.mdl and I have generated two screws: inputs.vi and display.vi.

  I have traced the commands and views of the two screws for the relevant parameters inside the Simulink model using the SIT connection manager, but trying to run both live and link them to the Simulink model to change the settings and display the results that I get a conflict, alone of the screw can be connected to the model at the same time Simulink.

  Does anyone know what are the steps to connect the two screws to the same Simulink model? SIT documentation claims that it can be done, but unfortunately, it does not explain how it can be done. The only examples are used to connect a vi to the model.

  Hi James,

  In the end, I solved my problem with the second option, I told you before: using static variables to pass data between the two screws.

  But it was a little difficult to modify the values of the controls of the façade for the SIT to recognize the change in the value.

  I managed to achieve this by using the following structure for each of the controls of the fron inside the VI Panel where the SIT is running:

  

  In this case to write the value to the control called "Frequency", I have a variable shared 'f' that is written in the other VI where all data entries will be implemented. Then in the "Frequency" control properties, I bound the control to this variable shared 'f' And the using the structure of the image I managed to do the SIT react against changes in the 'Frequency' control and apply the new value to the Simulink Simulation.

  The truth is that I still do not understand why the SIT does not recognize the change in the control without using all this stuff, but it's working now.

  So could you clarify my doubts about this issue and the problem with the two panels with the SIT fron, that would be great.
